I hired 702 PlumbAIR to diagnose issues with my AC. I was told the motor was bad and that both the motor and capacitor would be replaced under warranty. The motor was replaced, but the capacitor was not. The AC continued having problems, so I hired a second HVAC company to diagnose the issue. They immediately discovered that 702 PlumbAIR had installed the wrong motor, causing it to blow in the wrong direction. Because 702 PlumbAIR had already used the manufacturer's warranty, I had to pay the second company out of pocket for the correct motor and capacitor. What happened to the capacitor that was supposed to come with the new motor under warranty? When I disputed the charges, the initial customer service response was extremely dismissive and essentially told me to prove that their work was incorrect. I did exactly that and provided photos of the incorrect motor, the capacitor that was supposedly replaced but wasn't, the actual replacement capacitor, the correct motor installed by the second company, and evidence showing the motor blowing the wrong way. Instead of apologizing or taking responsibility, I was called and told I would still be charged for the parts--and that if I didn't pay, they would put a lien on my house. They did remove the labor charge, but I am still being charged for parts associated with a repair that was done incorrectly, and supposed to be covered under warranty, while I have already paid another company to fix their work. Their response was essentially, "We would have fixed it if you had given us the opportunity." But I did give them the opportunity--I hired them to diagnose and fix my AC in the first place. Their repair created another problem that I then had to pay someone else to correct. I am extremely disappointed not only with the quality of the work, but with how this company handled the situation afterward. Mistakes can happen, but I expected accountability and an effort to make things right--not accusations and threats of a lien when I disputed charges resulting from their own work. read more

My home was built approximately 11 years ago with the Uponor-Pex Pipes. After enduring four (4) leaks in the hot water piping in four (4) years, I decided to contract plumbers to "repipe" my home. I received a range of oral and written bids from five Las Vegas plumbers. I chose 702PlumbAir - and I am extremely glad I did! I received a comprehensively written bid from Chavis Kaoihana. This, in itself, was extremely helpful as Chavis took his time to answer all of my questions before the work was contracted. Oral bids with an estimated number for the repairs and no actual written explanation(s) as to how the work would be performed were not considered. My questions were answered by Chavis, and the work was scheduled and completed in five (5) days. A total of 44 holes were cut in the drywall throughout my house, replacing the defective pipe for the hot water side of our house with new, insulated piping. I also had a new tankless water system and a new water filtration system installed as well. I would like to commend the workers on the job: Gerado Ortiz, Jamie Duran, and Bryce. This is a messy, time-consuming job, and I hope to never purchase another home with defective piping. These three plumbers did a great job in keeping the mess to a dull roar and helping me maintain my sanitary while I continued to work during the day with my two Great Danes in tow. One aspect of the job that I greatly appreciated was the fact that the 702PlumbAir plumbers cut out the drywall to reach the pipes and tried their best to salvage every piece of drywall to be reused for replacement purposes. Each of the pieces removed from a wall space were placed next to the specific area where the plumber had worked. Not every piece salvaged is in perfect condition, but they have provided my painter/drywall person many pieces that can be easily restored to the opened walls. I had this company completely redo my pipes a couple years ago. The experience was daunting as I needed everything replaced.. it was very expensive but Brandon did a great job informing and leading. I just had my house redone with porcelain tile which they had to destroy in parts of my house to get to the pipes. A long process but glad it's done. What I have noticed after approximately 4 years is all the concrete they relaid.. which was quite a bit is sinking and cracking. I am quite pissed about this as now I will be spending more money on their horrid concrete replacement. If you have your pipes redone .. be very watchful of how they replace your concrete! By recommendation from a friend who's neighbor had recently used 702 PlumbAIR, they are who I ended up using for my recent plumbing disaster. I was planning on replacing a Delta shower faucet cartridge after I had got the replacement part from warranty. I had prepped the handle days before with vinegar/lactic acid paste, thinking from past experiences, that was the "hardest" part. Everything from the handle to brass collar all came off easily... EXCEPT the cartridge. Apparently Delta's shower faucet cartidges have been KNOWN to "bond" to the brass valve sides due to water corrosion, etc so the cartridge was unremovable. After a few attempts to try to wiggle it out, i gave up and didn't want to risk damaging the valve. Luckily my friend had called for me and found out they had a "2-4pm" opening the same day. Dalten Diggs (i hope its the right name. going off the text you get about the scheduled appointment and when the technician was en route) had came fairly on time and had told me the siutation with the Delta valves and cartidges. He even tried wiggling it out himself too without any success. In the end, he quickly recommended a valve replacement to Moen's brand, who is known to be EASY to replace the cartidges, good warranty, AND themselves made a cartridge removal tool (if needed, because the other company doesn't, despite the known reputation of those cartidges). Per this technician, Moen actually creates a repair kit for this kind of situation. Replaces the valve as well as comes with a LARGE oval plate to cover the hole that will be needed to cut to do the replacement. If he didn't need to run out to get this kit and return, he would've been well within that 2 hour window (went over 30 minutes). Very nice guy. Young but skilled. Not the prettiest hole he cut but job done. Price definitely FELT steep, considering probably the cost of the kit but you're definitely paying for their time and expertise. There's no way I'd be cutting a hole like that nor doing copper soldering within a wall... read more

All he wanted to do was sell me a brand new one.. when the switch was turned on, you could hear a humming sound so it wasn't dead. Response was fast, the technicians were great, but the price was extremely expensive. I needed to replace two bathroom sink cartridges on my wall mounted sink to stop a slow leak. I purchased the cartridges from the sink manufacturer but was having trouble getting the old ones out. I just didn't have the right tools. Cost was $295 (before 10% coupon) to unscrew the old cartridges and screw in the new ones I purchased - 5 minutes worth of work. That's a big tool tax.
