You know the place is legit when you're the only non-Indian customers and the place is always packed! This is hands down the best chaat I've had since I was in India in 2010. It was so good that we got some to go after our meal. We also tried the Burg Malai Boti and the Beef Bihari Boti- both were delicious. The beef dish packed more flavor and the chicken dish was mild. Aside from the tasty food, the atmosphere is so chill! It is all outdoor seating and it's right next to a convenience store that sells cold beer. Can it get any better than legit Indian street food and cold beer while sitting outdoors on a nice night?! This made for an awesomely chill date night with my husband. I love discovering little gems like this one! Will be telling all our neighbors to check it out. So far, this is my fave Indian food in Cedar Park/Leander area. read more

I'd suggest you call, they are sometimes open late, we went there after 10 and they still accommodated us. Amazing scene since it's outdoor, gives you that Indian dhaba vibes. Nothing is from pack, they Make their kababs there even their parathas. We ordered paratha, Rumali roti and tawa ghost with few Kababs. Everything was just amazing. I recently tried their bun kabab and swear to god that's the best bun kabab I ever had in my life. They make it like a burger with a sweet chutney added inside the bun, the bun is just like how we have back in mother land- little sweet and very soft. This is full on dhaba style vibe where you sometimes might have to wait or just eat in the car. They have a lot of dessert options as well, I tried their pakora lassi but it was ok, I am going to try something else to explore more. My friend had bhejo fry and he loved it. Must try. We went for a family dinner. Upon arriving, we got in line to place our order and we were told to sit at a table and the host would come take our order since we were dining there. She didn't come for about 30mins. We then ordered our food. We got 3 apps about 30mins later. Our samosas came out frozen, we notified them and they remade a second batch which came out frozen on the inside as well. The 3 chicken apps we tried were okay., nothing mind blowing. We ordered dinner 10mins after ordering our apps because we realized the service was slow, after waiting another 1 hour we asked for an update, we're told it will be out in 2 mins. After another 15mins, we asked for another update, we were told 2-3 minutes. We waited another 10mins and realized they never started to make our order. We told them to cancel our order which there was confusion as to what order. We basically sat for over 2.5 hrs and didn't even end up with food to eat. UPDATED RESPONSE: We ordered saag, dal fry, 2 orders of basmati rice, 2 orders of butter chicken, 3 paratha, and 3 naan for dinner which we never got. Denise came to review our receipt of our order to check what we received, we told her we only got the apps and she stated that she wanted to confirm so "we don't get a part of someone else's order". If you wanna tell the full story please be honest. Yes we had beers, BYOB, there is no sign at your location that this is not the case. We got apps which I noted in the review above. We tried to pay at the end with Denise and Ali before leaving, neither of you gave us the time of the day. Still we felt bad and wanted to pay for apps however you stated "it's on house". We didn't "eat for free", when your customers offer to pay and you don't genuinely want it to "be on the house" then maybe take the payment. Warning: long review Okay we really wanted to like this place. Our family of 9 arrived a little before 8 pm and ordered our appetizers thinking we'd enjoy it before ordering dinner. We realized that we might be waiting for a while for our food (especially once the line started getting longer), so added on our dinner order as well. We finally got our appetizers (3 chicken dishes , onion rings, and 1 samosa), the chicken was actually tender and flavorful but the samosas were frozen on the inside. We took them back and let them know and they said they'd send abatch, that's great thank you. Second order of samosas come out and we cut into just one to check, and it is also cold. We take it back back to the guy in the truck and he proceeds to stick his fingers into the rest of samosas saying "they're warm"... like dude, why would we check the other samosas when the first one was cold?? They say they'll send another order. At this point, we've been there for over an hour, and keep in mind our dinner order has been placed as well. They bring the samosas out and they're great, crispy and hot on the inside, but the guy who brought them out said "next time say you want extra crispy"... but like... shouldn't the normal samosas also be cooked/warm on the inside? At this point, we've been there for two hours and haven't even gotten our dinner, and many people who ordered after us had gotten their food. We ask for status updates and are told "2-3 minutes" - the lady who took our order came over (with our order receipt) and asked which items we had ready received, to confirm they don't bring out duplicate items. But we can see the lady who took our order communicating with the guy in the truck and it seems like he didn't know what order she was talking about. We decided to walk out - My husband tried to pay for the food we did eat, but no one even knew which order it was. Instead the guy coordinating orders tried to explain why we didn't get our food because of some orders/system issue. At the end of the day, that's not our problem. Once they realized they had overlooked our order, they should have worked on rectifying the situation. Anyway, the guy coordinating said it's on the house, probably to get rid of us. We came 2 nights in a row: First night: They stopped serving 2 hours before closing time and said they will resume service in an hour. So we had to leave because we tried understanding it might be too hectic (on a Wednesday night even) Second night: Not enough seating outside - which is fine, I get it they're a small vendor but we decided to put in a Togo order. We get to the front and are told they don't have enough of the Rumali Rotis - they started with 25 for the night, sorry 25?? Alright we try substituting for that. Then we are told to go orders will take an additional 40-45 minutes. We went up halfway through to just make sure we know when to come back so we could leave and get back since other people were HOUNDING for parking, and the guy inside the truck yelled at us and told us it would at least be an additional 45 minutes - so an hour and half in total waiting for our food. Also the food (!) literally Trader Joe's frozen Indian food has more flavor so would rather buy again for TJs. Literally any other food truck is better - and try out Indian food from Houston or other places because again, not worth it. read more

Stumbled upon this gem not realizing it was literally 5 min from my house. They have tons of cots out in the front characteristic of a dhaba. The menu was alittle hard to navigate since I've never been to a Pakistani restaurant. They recommended the Murgh tikka, beef kebabs, and the pratha. I also added the murgh achari. The food took about 20 ish minutes to come out, they apologized and said everything was scratch made so it was understandable. The Murgh tikka was bomb, it's kinda what I hope for when I order tandoori but I get super dry chicken. This chicken was tender and fall off the bone and the yogurt sauce that accompanied it was stellar. The beef kebab was alittle dry, they used a ground meat sort of kebab. The pratha was so satisfying! It was a pull apart bread. The Murgh achari was my assumption of a tomato curry basically. It can be alittle hard to eat since the chicken isn't boneless and the bones are tiny but otherwise flavor was there. I hope more people give them a chance! read more

This place came highly recommended. We went on a thursday evening. Crowded to the limits, the cooks running around, the waiter was super super rude... not just to us but even to the management. ( myabe he was more than a waiter... owner maybe). We had to wait a minimum of 75 mins for our food. Halfway we went and asked how much longer would it take and we literally got shouted at. The cook barked something at us about how swamped they are. Totally unacceptable. Well we put up with all this because we assumed the food would be worth it.... but a huge let down. It was ok... wasnt bad for sure... but pretty midfield food. Nothing great to write home about, the falooda however was an absolute sh*tshow. We threw the whole thing direct to the dumpster. Tables were dirty. They seemed a bit unorganized. It was unclear where to order the food. They told us they would come around which they eventually did. Food was edible but nothing to write home about. The plastic utensils were not strong enough to cut the chicken. The naan was hard and bland. There are better options out there. read more
