Super disappointed with the service today. I want to start off saying that we are regulars, and we mostly place to-go orders. Today I had issues ordering online and was in a hurry to check out and be on the way because my baby was in the car being fussy and wanting to sleep. Normally I tip $2 for my pickup orders, today I forgot to because I was so tired and in a hurry. I get there, and the lady obviously punished me for not tipping because not only did she not put the sauces I asked for in the bag, she purposely tapes the receipt right on the knot so it's hard for me to open again to put sauces in the bag. Whatever, I go to the sauce station to get my own sauces, I got what I needed except one of the sauces that appeared to have ran out. So I go to the counter and before I said anything, the same lady goes "you can get your own sauces over there." I was baffled like I know you see me undoing the dead knot you taped over, holding these other sauces in my hand trying to put them in there. So I explained "yeah but it's not working, I need the OG yogurt." She hands some to me without another word. Anyways, I normally tip on To-go orders, but I WILL NEVER TIP AGAN after this experience. Came here for dinner with my boyfriend and we were both super impressed with this spot. I got the carved chicken wrap and oh my gosh it was huge. I ended up having half of it for lunch the next day (and it was so good leftover btw). My boyfriend got the plate with carved chicken, truffle brown rice, and the chickpea salad and it was very good! First time here! I had to come to Texas to get California food. This is Middle Eastern with a fast food twist. Like other fast food, you have to make sacrifices. I stumbled across this place with my daughter the other day. It's by i35 in Round Rock, so it's very convenient and there is ample parking. The two ladies working yesterday were extremely kind, knowledgeable and helpful. We were starving, so I could only take pictures of the doner fries, but everything was incredible. The donee fries had lamb, yoghurt, garlic, pickled onions and some cheese. The lamb was just so tender and well seasoned that I did not have to add salt to it (and that says a lot!!). The portion was a great size as well. We also ordered a side of falafel and they were super crunchy on the outside while very soft on the inside. Again, very well seasoned. They also have their sauces available to you. I tried them all, but the yogurt garlic one is simply my favorite. We also ordered two bowls that we gladly took home for lunch/dinner today. I am so glad I found this place! I'm visiting from Dallas & we don't have anywhere near this good of a kebab shop. If we did I'd eat there at least once a week. The customer service is good. They are helpful with menu questions & work to make sure the order is correct before paying. The food does take a little longer than expected to make but it's well worth it. This wrap is the closest thing I've had to doners from Germany. I LOVED it! Both times I got the beef/lamb kebab wrap. I had to take one star away because there could be more meat in the wraps like they have pictured. The second time I went, I added Fries which was a delicious addition, but then I got even less meat which is a bit frustrating because the beef/lamb is an up charge. In general I would say the wrap is pretty expensive especially after additions. I do have to say I feel like the quality is there. The veggies were fresh & the wrap was the best I've ever had in Texas. Minus the inconsistent meat portion & the expensive up charges, I love this place & would highly suggest it to anyone. I really want to like this place. It's close by, I'm Turkish, and get major cravings for Mediterranean food often, so this would be a big win for my family. The best things were the super nice ladies that work there and the fries. The falafel is good too. But the rice smells disquietingly wrong. I thought maybe it was just me, but then my daughter said it smelled off. When I stopped down their strip at another shop, a guy who worked there said he had the same problem with the rice. It was off putting in odor and flavor, and I like saffron rice. My chicken shawarma was good, but lacked salt, and there was so little of it. Salad was fine. I wish this place was great! They even let me taste their gyro meat, and it was what I remembered from the first time: lacking flavor and not caramelized at all from being cut too soon on the spit.
