First time here. Nina was very helpful and explained everything to me. Food seemed fresh. Was very tasty and filling. Shop is clean. Restroom was clean too.

Cilantro spicy sauce was bomb! 6/2025

Easy, fresh, and healthy! Love the concept of customizing your own meal. I chose a bowl: Spring spinach mix Lamb/beef gyro meat Pickled onions, olives, hummus, jalapeños, diced tomatoes and cucumbers Topped with pita bits and a cilantro sauce with a kick. Super healthy and satisfying. They also serve wraps, plates, rice, fries etc A self serve condiment area with a variety of sauces to top your meal is an absolute must to check out. Friendly service, casual atmosphere, and delicious food. I would totally come back when in the area. Military discount offered.

The Kebab Shop is one of our go-to casual counter-service meals; it also offers healthy and delicious options! I always get the chicken bowl with greens and saffron rice. They load all the bowls with plenty of fresh and pickled veggies. Hummus (they have traditional, cilantro, and spicy red) and other sides like grilled veggies, tabouleh, and more can be added at just $1 extra. Imo, the bowls are better value because the plates don't come with all the veggies and toppings, just the two sides you pick. Everything looks and tastes fresh here. The falafels are pretty bomb too. This location is clean, has a modern-industrial vibe, and features cute ball-shaped lighting.

    The sauces

The food is fresh, hot and good. I usually order the San Diego wrap with lamp and beef. My husband likes the lamb/beef plate with saffron rice with the Greek salad. We both like the OG sauce. He likes the spicy stuff, Fire Chili!

TKS Mediterranean is now the Kebob Shop! It's still a Mediterranean restaurant. A great spot for Mediterranean food, you can dine in or takeout, dining in is great, you can watch them prepare your food as well as use the Spotify and listen to your favorite tune while there! Let the owner know it's your first time there for a special treat!

Great Mediterranean option, conveniently located in RR. Kind of feels like a fast food place , but the food quality didn't compromise. Service was good and quick , kid-friendly seating, lots of interior seating . The OG sauce was my favorite. We tried the lamb and chicken . Both were good . And I loved the thin wraps!

Came here for dinner with my boyfriend and we were both super impressed with this spot. I got the carved chicken wrap and oh my gosh it was huge. I ended up having half of it for lunch the next day (and it was so good leftover btw). My boyfriend got the plate with carved chicken, truffle brown rice, and the chickpea salad and it was very good! I feel like the wrap might be the better deal though. We also got a side of French fries which was a huge portion! So good and the feta was so yummy. If you order your food to go, make sure you get some sauces to go!! All of them were so good but you need to get the og yogurt and the cilantro sauce. I will definitely be back!!

Liked the concept of a hip style, modern Mediterranean restaurant that serve perfectly cooked kebabs. The staff at this location is very friendly and aware explaining the various options on the menu to each customer with patience. The pita wraps are huge, the chicken kebabs were well cooked and seasoned. Falafels were crispy and delicious. Saffron rice and hummus were flavorful and served as great sides. Definitely recommend trying out this healthy fast food restaurant!

Tried this place for the first time after my yoga class next door...immediately went back the next day. Love the chicken shawarma grain bowl! Maribel was friendly and helped me with my first order :) the inside was clean and there was plenty of seating.

This place has become my go-to! It's SO good and I am thoroughly blown away by the service every single time. Karim at the Round Rock location is outstanding!! It's a fast casual place with top-tier service. He was kind, friendly, attentive, knowledgeable and went above and beyond -- just the definition of what great service should look like. Thank you Karim! Love this place EVEN MORE.

    The Wrap
    Jenn M.

Wonderful!!! So light and fresh. I got the wrap with carved chicken and all the free toppings with added fries in the wrap. Fries were crispy and added a nice texture and flavor, it also absorbed the sauces--extra plus. I liked that it was a light but satiating meal. I, especially, like the cilantro and garlic yogurt sauce from the sauce bar. I'm a sauce gal, so I made to get extra--NO REGRETS! Cilantro sauce has a nice subtle spicy kick to it. Garlic yogurt sauce is excellent. Food came out really fast. I took it to go. The staff is very nice and helpful when it came to recommendations for ordering. The interior is spacious and looked very clean at first glance. Can't want to come back!

We had the mix plate, the yogurt salad, and the delicious green tea. A little something sweet to close the dinner and just happy satisfied faces to show afterwards. The owner is Jordanian, but pretty much all middle east is embodied in the offerings of this locale. What a great combo and intriguing flavors. Beautiful time today, hope to come back soon.

Good food, lovely decor, somewhat disappointing service…read more MENU: Large menu with a lot of options. Loved that they had a kabob plate to share (6 skewers plus 2 cold apps). PRICE: Some items seemed properly priced (the aforementioned kabob plate offered a good amount of food for $75) while others seemed overpriced. We got a cheese bread (like a thin pizza) for the kids and it was $16.99. That seems like too much for what it was. FOOD: Meat was tasty, hummus was creamy. Baklava stood out as some of the best I've had -- chunky nuts, not crushed. DECOR: Beautiful. The embroidered couches were a nice touch. SERVICE: Started off great. Very friendly and patient during ordering. At some point, it felt like they completely forgot about us. No check-in for a long time. The worst part was that no one ever bussed our table. This would have been really helpful because we had two toddlers who are constantly grabbing stuff. So we had to move our piles of plates to one side of the table. Annoying. KIDS: Somewhat kid-friendly. We saw a few other toddlers while we were there so people bring their kids. They have a limited number of high chairs -- I counted three. Two of them were broken -- my son kept undoing his buckle and standing (it was loose and didn't click into place) so I grabbed another chair which didn't even have a buckle. The third chair was being used by another family. They told us they didn't have any others. The broken high chair is actually a common issue in restaurants (kids break stuff) but I think they could use a few more chairs. They have a couple kids menu options (nuggets and burger) but I think the main menu has better options if your kids will eat chicken or falafel or cheese bread or hummus, etc. They also have smoothies -- my daughter devoured her berry smoothie. PARKING: The lot is medium-sized but it's shared with a lot of businesses (including multiple restaurants) so it's actually kind of small given the context. No issue during slower times but probably tougher to snag a spot during peak dining hours.

However, I'll think about coming here again because I didn't feel a good vibe with the service. We had to go look for someone to show us the table even though the place was empty for early lunch. Then, to get drinks or even the order was a problem. It took so much longer than usual. Our waitress was rude, and seemed bothered that we showed up. Then someone else came as the waitress and she was preoccupied with other tables and barely checked on us. A regular lunch which would've been one hour became almost two because of the lack of service. My friend had to stand and look for someone to give us a box to take out the good we couldn't eat because it was getting late and also to get the check because No one came in to check on us at all. It was almost like pulling teeth to get a regular service let alone good service. Again, the food was really good, and that alone was the only positive.

Affordable with large adult portions and my kids love the Kid's Gyro plate. First started with a change to heavily pureed babaganoush. No big deal, just mix it in with the always-been-dry but tasty tabbouleh. Then the lemon soup seem to skimp on the chicken. But then last year the gyro meat supplier definitely changed to a more chewy texture and blander taste. Kids still liked it and still affordable so kept going back. But then last Thurs I got my usual combo platter and the chicken this time is rubbery under the seasoning. After eating about 1/2 of that it dawned on me that means it's likely undercooked so tossed that and just finished off the gyro side ... coincidentally, 24 hours or so later I got diagnosed with salmonella food poisoning that took 5 days to recover Keeping an extra star bc never know for sure if it was them but no matter that the quality has definitely dropped off.

I decided to order a mini Persian feast: the beef koobideh with rice, doogh yogurt drink, and a saffron ice cream for dessert. This was my first time trying beef koobideh, and unfortunately, this just didn't seem to be very good. The meat itself was okay, decently cooked, and topped with quite a lot of some spice that I can't quite put my finger on. It was okay. The rice though, that is what really disappointed me. Persian rice is usually amazing, but this really didn't seem traditional and it had a strange taste to it. It also came with onion and a grilled tomato, both solid additions. Good portion though. The doogh yogurt drink wasn't homemade like I had hoped, but in all honesty, it still really hit the spot on a hot Austin day. Reasonable price. The saffron rice was also fairly disappointing. Large white chunks (clotted cream maybe? But they were pretty tasteless), gritty texture, not much flavor. Just not really worth it. All in all, a bit of a disappointing dinner in Austin. I'll have to look for a different Persian spot next time I'm in the area.

Parking is plentiful right in front of the restaurant. We came by on a Saturday around 1 PM, worried it might be packed, but it was actually pretty quiet. You can sit anywhere you like, grab a plate, and pay when you're done. The space is large and open, with three full rows of food and drinks plus a dedicated station for fruit and desserts. Everything was fresh, not overly salty, and there were plenty of options. My favorites were the hummus with eggplant (so flavorful with great texture), the salad and cucumber salad (fresh and refreshing), the dolma (perfectly done), gyro (tender and tasty), baked cauliflower (so good), fried chicken (juicy, crispy, and not salty), falafel (extra crunchy), and the lentil soup (simple but delicious). And don't miss their coffee at the checkout--it has a hint of warm spice and is the perfect finish after a meal. Surprisingly, I ended up loving the vegetable dishes even more than the meats. Overall, yes, $26 per person is on the higher side (what doesn't cost these days, right?!), but it's a great spot to try a variety of Mediterranean dishes that are fresh, simply seasoned, and let the ingredients shine--perfect whether you're new to the cuisine or just want a bit of everything.
