I had my wedding reception at this venue a year ago today (November 2024). For about 90 minutes the…read morepower went out in the entire building. My wedding reception was held on the 7th floor. When the power went out, there were guests who were stuck in the elevator... For 90 minutes! The Dallas Fire Department had to come and extricate people from all 4 elevators. Some people were forced to climb up 7 flights of stairs to get to our floor. Other guests ended up leaving the wedding altogether because we just never knew WHEN the lights and power were going to come back on. There was no back up generator or power source that the building could draw from. We were not able to start the wedding reception until AFTER 10pm! There was a quinceañera on another floor, and a 70th birthday party being held on a different floor. Everyone had NO POWER! (To be fair, when my mother came to check out this venue the week before the wedding, she said she had to take the stairs down, b/c the power went out then too - in the middle of the day!!!!) So for over 1 hour, our vendors were not able to serve our 400 wedding guests! I lost an hour of service from every single vendor - which ended up totaling over $12,000 lost. When I contacted the owners of the venue, they refused to take any accountability, saying they were not at fault. They refused to refund us even a fraction of the amount that we were owed. They refused that they owed us anything at all! We spent months trying to work out an agreement / negotiate compensation with the owner, to no avail. Nothing. Not even a dime. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU CHOOSE ANY OTHER VENUE FOR YOUR EVENT! IT'S NOT WORTH WASTING YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY... SPEND A LITTLE EXTRA AND BOOK YOURSELF A DECENT VENUE. I would give this place 0/5 stars if I could. I highly do NOT recommend.

The entire staff was cool and collective throughout each month and made our budget include the things that were important to us. The wedding was beautiful, the food delicious, and the memories are lasting. I was asked for months if I was stressing out and getting nervous about the wedding planning process, but I honestly answered that I felt fine because of my wedding planner. The company helped with out invitations (both physical and electronic), wedding favors, flowers, makeup artist, hair stylist, photographer, decorations, baker, and caterer. They completely decorated everything, as well as took care of the take-down. My fiancé, mother, and I (sometimes my girlfriends also) would meet monthly with the event planners to make decisions towards the wedding. They already had the timeline established for when each decision needed to be made.
