We were looking for affordable covers for our 1994 Roadtrek camper van. We saw good reviews in a "classic" year RT group on FB. We decided to check them out. On seeing that they offered free samples we wrote to the company directly from their website. It took a few days to get a response, but we were assured the samples would be shipped right out. They took 4 weeks. When after waiting for a delivery, we emailed again and were told that they would "check with shipping and get back to us" They never did. So, we called, and the person e reached looked for the order and couldn't even find it. He promised to get them shipped asap, we'd been waiting 4 weeks by then. The samples arrived a few days later. We made our color, fabric choice and paid the invoice in full. When we asked about turn over time we were told, by the email correspondence that it would be 6-8 working days before they were shipped. We mentioned the possibility of receiving them before our next trip and the email correspondence said she'd "put a rush on the order" We didn't have any expectations and our trip came and went with no emails about shipping or anything else. By now it was well over the 6-8 days. We emailed, once again, and the next day decided to call as well. Emailing seemed to take 24 hrs for most responses, calling we were able to actually talk to someone. From here it gets even more frustrating. On the phone we were told the order would be ready by the end of that week to ship. Then we received an email stating the order had been lost when production had a question, and put the order off to the side and everyone forgot about the already paid for order. Long story short, we finally received the covers 6-8 WEEKS after they said we would have them. Disclaimer, if we had been told it would be 6-8 weeks, we would have been disappointed but at least aware. However, that is not what we experienced. In the end Design covers did do a good job and made efforts to make it right,. All of which we appreciated. We'd give the covers themselves a 4 star review the covers are very nice and we're happy with the end results. The 3 stars are for the communication and hassle it involved. Be aware there is serious communication issues between email correspondence, office and production. read more

I had seat covers made and they met my requests even though it was not a custom job. Because it was not a custom job, my expectations were not high. Anticipating difficulties in installing the covers, I paid a tiny fee but drove 42 miles to have them install it instead. Due to being installed right out of the packaging, there is a mild but discernible smell to them. Also there are creases all over but I do expect these to disappear eventually with time. I wish I could have washed and ironed them first prior to installation but I wanted the install done right so I had no choice but get it done on the spot. They are all very cordial and accommodating. For the price I paid, I am happy with my covers and look forward to the time they begin doing custom covers. Hopefully I get a discount for being an existing customer. read more

Since my designcovers are getting looser and baggier the more I drive my car(been in one day and came that way) and they piss me off every time I drive my car now Im going to write review after review warning others not to waste your money. Not only did they respond immediately, they said to come to their shop to have them measure our seats (not standard sized seats) first hand to make sure the cushions were made to perfection. Worst shopping experience ever. Seller refuses to acknowledge that they shipped me incomplete or wrong item or WORSE, they are pretending they received an incomplete return (essentially falsely accusing me of stealing their back seat covers!) to avoid refunding me. Seller has had return of EVERYTHING I received back to them for 4 weeks now and still not refunding just stating "we are investigating". Never have received such awful service. Why would I keep back seat covers - I immediately reported to them poor fit and didn't like cover. Jeep wrangler jeep seat cover 2011-2018 - if that is even what they shipped me, DID NOT FIT WELL. They sell a semi fit version of same exact pattern with option of just front seat only and if they truly are "missing" back seat covers then the only explanation is that they shipped me either an incomplete set or they shipped me wrong item. Either way, whatever happened to decency and "the customer is always right" edict??? Never have had anything like this happen, even had to report them to Better Business Bureau. Not only are they refusing to refund me, they hassled me from the first minute I reported dissatisfaction with the product, asking me to put the seat cover on and take a picture of it and send it to them! - who does that????? read more
