I just picked my car up. I had to have a panel replaced on the back of my front seat. I have cooled seats, and they are perforated. The material they had in stock wasn't a perfect match due the size of the holes in the leather. Jesse and his wife, Corinne (spelling), are friendly and very professional. I have a older model Tahoe and the driver's side seat had gradually ripped open. As with most raised SUVs or trucks that you have to step up and slide into, the seat began tearing away and had a rip about half way around the side to the front. We took it to J & A Upholstery and they had it repaired in one day!!! The seat looked brand new. They matched the leather perfectly! You can't even tell that it had been repaired. J&A did an amazing job on bringing my outdoor couch cushions back to life! I am so happy with their service. From the very start, they were incredibly helpful. I was initially taking my cushions to another upholsterer in San Bernardino that specialized in furniture upholstery. It was a Saturday afternoon, and per the website, they were open. Fortunately for me, they were closed upon arrival, and the only other upholstery nearby that was open was J&A. I gave them a call, told them I was nearby, and he immediately told me to come on by. I could immediately tell they specialized in bigger projects and automotive upholstery, and I was a bit wary they wouldn't be interested in taking on my small couch cushion project. My worries were instantly put at ease upon meeting Jesse and his lovely wife. They were so helpful! After explaining what I wanted, they helped me choose the fabric and went over the pros and cons of different ones while keeping my desired budget in mind. Although they didn't have the fabric on hand, I left feeling confident in whatever one they would ultimately choose because they asked questions and truly listened to what I wanted. I dropped the cushions off with them then and there and was able to pick them up in about a week. Throughout the week, they kept me abreast of how things were moving along, sent me pictures of the fabric they had selected, and more pictures once they were completed. All in all, J&A was fantastic! I would recommend them to anyone looking to have an upholstery project done, big or small, and I will be returning to them for any future projects as well. Thank you again for a wonderful job. When I tried calling this place to get a price quote they way overcharge. They try to overcharge me for Katskin. They told me that it's going to be $2,200 to order the product and for them to install it. When I called Katskin myself they said that it's only $1,500 to order the product and to have vendors to install it for them. This company tried to upcharge me $700.
