Don't buy from her. Beautiful website, but she does not deliver. I emailed her and drove two…read morehours (each direction) to her workshop in SB to see one particular dress. She said she'd have it ready for me. When I got there, it wasn't available: she'd sent it out for someone else to try on. OK, snafus happen; she UPSed it to me, I tried it on, it seemed great. We drove back to SB *again* for a fitting. Everything seemed fine. She asked me to send a check for 50% of the purchase price. I did, and sent an email saying, I'd sent it and to let me know if she didn't receive it. All seemed to go well; a few days later, she told me she was switching suppliers for the fabric. Fine, all's in order, she's making my dress. Or so I believed. A few weeks later--less than four weeks before my wedding--I haven't heard from her yet. I email her to set up a final fitting. She says she never received the check. But she didn't bother to tell me. All this time I thought she was making my dress! The "solution" she offers: how about I pay full price for the dress, but she won't guarantee that it'll be ready in time for my wedding, and it's nonrefundable even if she doesn't have it ready. If it's not ready, I can have some other dress (one I don't want, but that's convenient for her) instead. Um, no. So now I'm shopping for a maternity wedding dress on three weeks' notice. No problem, right? What a nightmare. Pregnant (and other) brides, don't shop here!

I bought my gown at a sample sale in Los Angeles. I put half of the money down and sent the 2nd half by check when the dress was ready to ship. I had plenty of time before my wedding, and she even shipped the gown 4 weeks ahead of what the contract said. It fit well, just needed minor alterations, the tags said 100% Organic silk.
