Lovely home décor store located in La Arcada Plaza. I walked through the entire store, but I kept walking by (purposely) what I called "the bling'd out table." I couldn't stop admiring all the rhinestone bejeweled items.... and they were so sparkly, they looked just like diamonds. All kinds of other things, too, for the home, but I was so mesmerized by the bling table. Maybe next time I stop by, I'll pay better attention to the rest of the things...... but if the bling'd out table is still there, I will probably fixate on that again. I ordered a vase from their website and promptly received a call from Coast 2 Coast letting me know that the vase was out-of-stock, and unfortunately that particular design had been discontinued. Holly from Coast 2 Coast truly went above and beyond to help me, and she was able to locate a partner warehouse in another state that had the vase just a few days later! I saw their ad in a magazine and decided to visit the store while on a visit to Santa Barbara. WOW! The store merchandise was beautifully displayed and had many wonderful selections of gifts and collectible local treasures to bring home. The jewelry was amazing and had price points for everyone. I was also impressed with how many options that were available for china, crystal and silver. I wish we had a store like this in my city. I have nothing but amazing things to say about Coast 2 Coast! I have been shopping here for years as I am a collector of vintage jewelry and they always have the most amazing pieces! So when I got engaged I knew I wanted to make my love for vintage jewelry a part of my wedding look. Not to mention they offer bridal registry for home décor, so I was one of the first brides to register with the store! They were a huge part in making my wedding year so incredible. Everyone at the store was so helpful throughout the registry process, especially the owner, Holly Murphy. My husband and I enjoyed every second of this fun process and will forever be grateful to Holly for her help! Not to mention all of our gifts were always wrapped so beautifully!! As for my wedding jewelry - I knew I wanted big vintage earrings, but I didn't know exactly what I wanted so Holly would always put things aside when she thought I might be interested. We finally found the most amazing pair of gold / crystal chandelier earrings - they were perfect. We then found a pin that was almost an exact match to the earrings and turned that into a clip for my hair to complete the look. I got so many compliments on both pieces, and that acted as my something old! To finish things off I found another beautiful vintage crystal pin and put that on my bouquet and I was complete! Last but not least, I knew I wanted to do something special for my bridesmaids - so I decided to have my favorite jewelry designer, Stanley Hagler N.Y.C., at Coast 2 Coast make custom bracelets for all my girls. I was able to work with the store and the designer to make the most amazing bracelets for each bridesmaid. Stanley Hagler truly did an amazing custom job on each bracelet. They were so beautiful and so special. Stanley Hagler also made a custom bracelet for my Mom to match her dress as well! Caveat Emptor! This store presents all it's jewelry as vintage but LET THE BUYER BEWARE. I think of vintage as something like a minimum of 50 years old. I bought some rather expensive earrings, brought them home and researched the manufacturer's name of the back. I was able to confirm that they were made by a company that makes Austrian crystals the old world way... except they were made after 1995. I returned to the store the next day and asked for a deep discount, which, I am pleased to say, I received. I was rather horrified, however, to hear one of the clerks actually say that many items made in the 1990s are considered vintage. Really?!? By whom?!?!? Nice merchandise. Just know what you are buying and be prepared to pay a lot. read more
