I am tile shoping for two bathroom remodels. I decided I would try to see what they had to offer. I went in a week from last Tuesday. As I entered the building not one person acknowledged me or even asked if I needed help. One women walked by me talking to another associate and just kept walking. I normally don't write reviews but I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed with the lack of professionalism from the sale person I was working with. I had my porch done on March 19th and still as of today I have not received the warranty paperwork. I have requested this at least 3-4 times and still hadn't received it. I had several estimates from other company's but decided on Design Co due to there great repetition in the community. Guess I was wrong! read more

I had our bathroom remolding job done. Our shower in the master bath at the top is not done right , they said our ceiling was not level an to fix this it would be over a thousand Dollors . Just had an excellent experience at the Design Superstore. Miguel was my salesman when I went in for a very small project--getting two pieces of granite to place under coffee bar and wine rack on a new 70" buffet. When the piece I chose turned out to be quartz, I was concerned about staining (coffee or wine spills), Miguel suggested large tiles might work best. He found just the right color and size for me at less than half the quoted price for the quartz. In other words, he placed getting me what I needed above how much he could get from me! When I'm ready to replace my 15 year old granite counter tops, I will definitely be visiting Miguel at Design Superstore. Beth S. read more

Nice looking store but the vinyl plank flooring was really high. I've been a remodeler for 30 years and am aware of the costs of things. When I balked at the cost he started talking down to me about quality and cost. He kept asking if I wanted to buy cheap flooring and he brought out his more economical stuff and tossed it on the ground and his whole attitude was a turn off. I'd say if you are rich and don't mind over spending to feel important with your own personal concierge, go for it but I'm not geared to be treated like that. read more

So I ordered some floors about 4 weeks ago and they said they would call when they came in. They said it would be in by the end of the week. Guess what no call we had to call. They then advised that the floors should be in the next week. So we waited and then snowmagedon arrive and they were closed I get that. But they decided to cancel my order with out telling us. So we called and got everything settled. Got the floors re order told they will be in on Friday. Well it's Saturday and guess what still no floors. Was told that they will call the supplier on Monday to see if they can get the floors by Tuesday. But they also said that they still may not come in. They offered to give me a whooping $40 dollar discount for my troubles. Well I decided to canceled my order. Also I was told with a confirmation that I would get my money back 3-4 business days at least they can confirm that. Will never do business there. P.S. horrible customer service. read more

Do not buy anything from here! They are way over priced and unless you are posting a huge order the sales reps tend to blow you off. They do not tell you prices for anything just an overall quote not itemized or anything. We asked about tile for a bedroom and were quoted almost 1600 dollars for just the tile- just over 200 square ft. Same exact tile from Higginbotham's in town was less than half the price! And they gave us an itemized quote and cost breakdown. These people are shady and you pay a premium price for the decor of the store from. Don't waste ur time with these people. read more

First, I want to say that my floors, countertops and backsplash look amazing! So why did I deduct one point? There are two reasons: 1. The salesman, Johnny, underestimated the time it would take to complete the entire job by 2-3 days. I would rather he over estimate the time it would take rather than under estimate, because I had to reschedule the plumber and the trim guy. 2. Day 1 the countertops were to be installed, but 4 of the 8 pieces of granite did not fit properly. They had to recut them the next day and install the following day. I'm just thankful that the installers were not going to install them until they were perfect. Plus the tile guys came Day 2 and were able to work around the countertop guys. Johnny, the salesman - liked that he got everything ordered so quickly and he was quite patient with us as we tried to make all of our selections. He explained how they would not reconnect the kitchen sink/garage disposal, dishwasher, toilet, bathroom sink, washer, dryer, stove, or fridge water line. Either we do it, or get a plumber to. He did keep us informed as to the process. Countertop guys - as I mentioned earlier they did not try to install the pieces that were not the right size. Instead, they made sure those pieces were recut. Now the biggest praise goes to the floor and backsplash team. They had to demo the old tile and laminate floors, and install wood look tiles throughout the entire downstairs, like six rooms. It came out looking soooooo good. And the backsplash looks great too. We had moved everything out of the downstairs except for the appliances, and they would move them around as necessary. They wrapped the fridge in plastic, and always kept it plugged in. They cleaned up their mess everyday. Because there was so much tile being laid, they worked in sections, while the lines stayed completely straight from the back of the house to the front. It was also great that there are NO toe kicker tiles.....they are all smooth and even. We would definitely use them again! read more

My overall experience from picking granite to having Design Superstore measure and install was a breeze. Robert Mendoza and the staff at Design Superstore did a great job keeping me informed. The crew that came out to install couldn't have been more polite and professional. My kitchen looks incredible and I know I will enjoy it for years to come. Flooring was order & installed. There was miscommunication with the salesperson and when the vinyl plank came in they did not ask my husband or I if we were satisfied with the work performed-as the owner had said they would do. I had to call them back out and install extra foot molding which was JUST 3/4" round stained for $172!!! After the miscommunication with the salesperson I agreed to have the floating floor finished not knowing they would just come out and out 3/4" round down. They did not disclose this. Very unprofessional and communication is non-existent with this company. Seriously $172 for less than 3ft of 3/4" round- floor molding! read more

The worst customer service and experience ever. We have done a whole kitchen remodel with them and not one single part of it has gone right - they have not shown up at times they said they would, don't return phone calls, haven't sent enough materials with their install people. They won't even return my phone calls and messages I've left trying to pay my bill! Do NOT use them!! They are not worth the headache. It has been a terrible experience and they have done nothing to make it right - whenever I call I get passed from person to person because no one wants to take responsibility for their mistakes. During my remodel I ordered shower tile and pebble flooring for my contractor to pick up from Discount (whom he did not recommend) but I choose to use them being I have had great experiences with Gold Stone. I was quoted a max price before ordering with expediting the shipping. The tile was not delivered on time and the price was over $200 more than my quote! I have made several attempts to find out where the price difference came in and the sales associate will not return calls when I do speak to her she says they are so busy and promises to call me back for over a month now. I will never use discount floor again! read more
