Lowes delivered a fridge using 3rd party contractor and this person caused 20,000 dollars worth of…read moredamage to my property. They denied the claim for the insurance and we are left with a broken front door, damaged floor, and broken solid marble table. Lowes said it was not their problem. Lowes tried to offer us 200 dollars, the door cost more than that. Do not trust this company they hire incompetent staff to bring your items and will not offer any help or compensation. Truly sad we have to live with a broken front door that is compromised and anyone could gain access due to the damage. The delivery driver made up a wild story & the owner denied the claim. The man could not do his job without my help. He failed to secure the garage door before placing another door in front of it. His lack of concern that a person could walk in is what caused all this damage. Fougere Gordon out of Killeen, Tx is the subcontractor that denied the claim and left us with damages that will never be replaced. BE WARE Lowes response was they don't have any responsibility for the damages that occurred from the delivery of the fridge we purchased from them. Youu could face the exact same situation as we have. Lowes backed the delivery driver, so they will not have your back, they only care about theirselves. We tried to sue Mr. Gordon but the courts stated we had to sue Lowes, we do not have the money to sue Lowes. See the pictures attached and the response we got. Stay away from Lowes & go to Home Depot they told us had they damaged our stuff they would have compensated us. If you email Lowes at customercare@lowes.com they will send automated response and never get back with you.

Overall, I have a great experience at Atwoods, but my experience with getting chicks has been…read moreawful. We found out two of our chickens were male, so we went to Atwoods to get some hens. From the pullets bin (which are clipped with green tags), we got three "pullets" - one died within 24hours, and we've raised a lot of day old chicks to healthy chickens, so the manager, Jason, who was very nice about the whole thing, got us another one free of charge and she's doing just great. - another turned out to be a rooster, which is very frustrating because it was a green-tagged pullet. - and just overall, the green aluminum tags are difficult to remove especially with smaller breeds like the Ameracauna (I believe I spelled that wrong). The fluff feathers get very matted, and overall the clipped areas look very irritated and removing them usually involves a lot of pain to the chick and some blood as well. I would recommend zipties on their legs instead. I've gotten chickens from other tractor supply places and they don't clip the wing like Atwoods does.

When I got there, the item in question was not on the shelf. I checked with the cashier, and she said the store computer shows they had multiple bags of product. She told me to wait until someone in the back could help me out. After 30-minutes of wasting my time, I finally talk to a supervisor of sorts, who basically just shrugged his shoulders. I said could you go look in the back because the computer said they had the inventory. Instead of at least making an effort and go in the back and look, he just said that the computer is unreliable and left it at that. Atwoods, if your customer-facing website is unreliable, then take it down!!! As a long-time customer of Atwoods, I'm not sure I'll ever go back. Customer service is everything. At least make an effort!!

This place is pretty sprawling. It was really easy to get lost in here. I wasn't super impressed with the selection (lots of cheap plastic earrings and "boutique" clothes), but there were a few unique booths full of vintage finds that I loved sorting through. The prices can be high, depending on the booth, but there are some great deals hidden away. You can find a lot of fun, trendy giftable items here too. I definitely think that Spice Village is worth at least a quick stop while in Waco.

My journey that ends at Harbor Freight began with an online purchase. I went online looking for a device to grind or sand down my toenails because they were hard to maintain. We bought one in expensively there but it started to have trouble upon second use and died on third use. We obtained a refund and saw the good ones there were about 70 dollars. My father suggested Harbor Freight. We found a model there for about 10 dollars. It appears there are a bunch of power tools including circular saws etc. I am not really knowledgeable about the big box improvement stores but in terms of independent retailers for difficult hardware items Harbor Freight and Atwoods is where it is at. For more about Atwoods and the other varied things that they sell see my review there. Harbor Freight has a wide variety of power tools and hardware supplies. My fiancé found what we were looking for at the register. I also found some other things attractive such as a magnesium block w striker designed to aid in making fires. Everything seemed priced to sell quickly. A customer in front of us appeared to be getting a refund with little trouble. All in all a great recommendation from my father and a great help for me and my fiancé. Won't hesitate to return the employees seemed relatively friendly and the prices seemed pretty reasonable.
