Design by Ashley and her "team" are a bunch of crooks and thieves!!! The initial consultation went well, as a bride I felt like they truly captured my vision for the wedding.. they promised the most beautiful arrangement with quality flowers. So we asked for a sample, which they wouldn't provide without a deposit...first off, if you believe in your floral designs you would be more than happy to make a sample at no cost. Nonetheless, we agreed to give a deposit of $2000 out of goodwill. No contracts were talked about or signed. The day of the sample, we walked in thinking they had just finished another sample appointment with someone else... Little did we know, that was our sample!!! As the bride I was appalled, I nearly burst in tears! I mentioned that it wasn't how we discussed AT ALL! I had asked for absolutely NO greenery. I wanted clean lines, very contemporary..what I got was A GARDEN full of greenery and fillers!! It was obvious Ashley and her team had absolutely no talent, I could have gotten a better arrangement in downtown! Did I mention, they repeatedly spilled water on my mom and I while putting the centerpiece on top of the vase?! Long story short, we nicely asked for our $2000 deposit back minus the cost of the sample (how ever much they felt that was). Considering it was more than 6 months before the wedding and nothing had been purchased for the event, we felt that was more than fair...THEY REFUSED! Ashley STOLE our $2000 deposit!!!!!! We took Ashley and her wannabe attorney daughter to court where their disreputable and deceiving ways were apparent even to the judge and won the case! But they're such a disreputable business, they wont even pay their judgment! Ashley and her team are a bunch of THIEVES!! BE AWARE of these low class, dishonorable, deceiving, unprofessional swindlers!! read more

Like previous reviews, we also unfortunately hired Ashley for our wedding. Luckily, we realized what an unorganized scam artist this woman was when we went to see the sample for the centerpiece. After talking to her at length about what we wanted, for the sample, she took another centerpiece from another wedding, started putting haphazardly some pearls and was calling this our sample. She opened up the roses to make it look like there were a lot but all you could see was greens. When we asked for more flowers, she asked for more money, $20 more/centerpiece, not realizing what our quoted price was. So I asked her well, how much was the version she was showing us and she quotes $80/piece when on our contract, which she forgot, she charged us $120 per piece. Suffice it to say we realized this woman was a crook, cancelled our order, she didn't give us $500 deposit back even though she had done nothing yet. We preferred loosing out on that rather than dealing with someone who you could not trust in what they will deliver on your wedding day. Trust me when I tell you that this woman is not trustworthy. I don't care how talented she thinks she is, if you can't trust a vendor, especially on your wedding day, you have no way of fixing their mistakes. You are stuck and like some of the other reviews all you could do is write a bad review. read more

Had them do my wedding and had the most AMAZING flowers!! Beyond gorgeous arrangements and my bridal bouquet was the best I have ever seen!! So much bling everywhere. The only thing is I would suggest an itemized invoice with prices of everything at your first consult. That way you don't have any surprises. The other thing I wasn't a fan of is if you pay cash there is no tax but who walks around with over 3k in cash. Other than that I loved everything she did for me. read more

Ashley is truly amazing at what she does! I don't even know where to start...I booked her for my wedding in September of this year and I have to tell you i was left speechless at the beauty of all of my flowers!! Ashley did both my bridal shower and my wedding. Both occasions flowers turned out super beautiful and pictures prove it. Every one of our guest wanted the take home centerpieces. Ashley was truly a pleasure to work with. She was and is very patient, listened to my needs and provided what I wanted at a reasonable price. Ashley made me feel very comfortable and even helped me with my wedding décor. She even offered and drove me to a party rental place twice to ensure everything would turn out as planned. Who does that now days? Ashley is truly a wonderful and kind hearted person. Designs by Ashley is a scam!!! SHE RUINED MY WEDDING!!!!!!!!!!! I had a horrific experience with her. She totally ripped me off and did not give me anything I asked for!!!!!!!!!!!! She would not give me a contract despite asking her over and over again, and she was completely unprofessional. She missed appointments and would not respond. But the worst part is that a week before my wedding she said said she would not deliver, and charged me much more than what we had agreed upon. And if that wasn't bad enough, on the day of the wedding, she did not deliver the flowers I wanted. I had paid extra for garden roses, and got regular roses which were almost dead that morning. The flowers she gave (which again I had to pick up because she would not deliver) were so wilted that my cake vendor had to go get me fresh flowers. Take my advice and go anywhere but here. She is the WORST!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Worst person and worst florist. read more
