We have been using Designs by Don for years and (surprise!) they came through again! I wanted to get my mom flowers for her birthday but I'm a few states away. There was an issue and my card was charged but the order never went through. I was worried because I placed the order online on Saturday and her birthday was on Monday. They were over and above helpful and accommodating when I couldn't decide what wreath to order for a wake/funeral. Back then, the flowers would arrive in a box (to be assembled) and the quality was always poor (flowers wouldn't last long either). Sometimes, flowers would arrive late or on the next day. We had a nightmare experience trying to get flowers for our wedding with our first florist, but from the minute we walked into Designs by Don, I knew we were in good hands. Megan was extremely patient and helpful, meticulously going over every detail my wife wanted in our flowers. We had a list of requests that was pages long, with at least 50 individual pieces we needed. They took the time to talk through each one and get an idea of what we wanted, offering suggestion to lower the price with similar flowers and additions to make them more elegant. They always promptly responded to emails and phone calls with any changes we had and accommodated everything we requested, even last minute additions ( and by last minute I mean really last minute). I use Designs By Don all the time for any flower needs I have in the Wilmington area. They always do a great job and always make the delivery on time even if I don't give them a lot of advanced notice, I have even had a few same day deliveries. This year for Mother's Day I sent my Mom flowers at work on Friday and Design's By Don out did themselves. It was an all-white arrangement that was absolutely stunning.
