Several members of our family recently purchased funerary arrangements from Piccirillo. We spoke with Dave on the phone to gather information (pricing, options on color, sizes, etc.) that I could share with other family members. He recommended we get two arrangements of the same style and color to put at either end of the casket for balance and he recommended a red, white and blue color theme in honor of the deceased's military service. We are unable to hold burial services until the Spring as their cemetery plot is behind a locked gate until the ground thaws. Therefore we did not purchase a floral 'casket blanket' or place the arrangements in cemetery baskets. Rather, we chose to have the arrangements in vases for family members to take home with them. Piccirillo was familiar with this need (not uncommon in this area) and let us know what choices we had available. The customer service was friendly and helpful. When other family members called to place their orders he knew exactly what they needed to coordinate the flowers. Payment was done easily over the phone and I received a text receipt for my payment right away. Flowers were delivered to the funeral home the morning of services. I don't usually write reviews but I had to for Piccirillos. They are the best florist. Not only have they been in business forever, but it's family owned and they make the best arrangements. I had surgery this year around Christmas and my family sent me a bouquet from Picirillos. I believe it cost $60 before delivery and LOOK AT HOW BEAUTIFUL IT WAS! It was gigantic, had lots of buds and accessories, and it lasted forever. My husband also gets me random bouquets throughout the year. He will call in advance, ask for a $10-$20 bouquet and they are always beautiful and last forever. I can't say enough good things about them! read more

So I just want to say the Piccirillo Florist In Methuen MA is the absolute BEST when it comes to floral arrangements!! And last minute orders!!! For Mother's Day, I called at like 7:00 pm that Saturday night and the flowers were delivered the very next morning!! All I can say is WOW!!! Spectacular arrangement!! They did such a kick ass job my Mother-in-law was thrilled to say the least!! A big beautiful bouquet of very bright beautiful flowers . So I now come to today. Saturday 7/25. I grew up a block away from Piccirillo so the first time I had to send flowers (many moons ago), they were an obvious choice. On the few occasions I have had in the ensuing years, I have continued to choose Piccirillo and been satisfied with their services. This last occasion was the most somber. My mother had passed away and I needed something to represent her beauty and sit next to her urn at her wake. Dave was very understanding and was clearly listening to me when I explained what I wanted for my mom. He even said I could stop in and discuss the arrangement. Because I wanted to make sure the flowers were perfect, I did stop by and we discussed what I was looking for. I even found the perfect vase for the flowers while there. You can save yourself a trip and trust that Dave and his son will provide you with a beautiful arrangement. Truly. Although the cost for flowers is exorbitant, Dave worked within my budget which I really appreciated. What he did for me & my mom honored her and did not look like a "discount" floral arrangement. I am not from the area and needed flowers for my grandfather's funeral. After hearing nightmare stories about other florists, we were anxious about who to use. At the last minute, my mother and I selected Piccirillo's. My mother called in an order for several arrangements and explained what she was looking for without any pictures.
