I don't have alot of time to write reviews, but I definitely wanted to tell you about this gem. This shop is named for the owner's mother, Louise, who taught these ladies how to do quality work at a great price. I heard about this place from a fellow motorcyclist after one of the gals at Bos Sewing was repeatedly rude to me & my brother for asking she sew a straight line across two curtains. I wasn't sure if I wanted to make the drive, but after meeting Connie I was hooked by her quick wit & work ethic. First of all, don't let the hours fool you. Connie & her sister Cheryl spend the other days supporting local biker rallies or catching up on large orders. Over the years, they've been more than accommodating with my often silly schedule of work, Reserves & roller derby. I've never hesitated to call the shop for specific requests. No BS from these ladies, they talk straight & get to the point. They specialize in embroidery, biker gear & custom requests. Connie & Cheryl have hemmed pants for me, sewn patches on my leather motorcycle vest, shortened curtains for ridiculously sized windows & made custom tent/tent pole covers out of heavy canvas. They've done large custom embroidery orders for local schools directly on polo shirts & patches for the Counterintelligence school, MCs & various other groups in the area. They've also built replacement HMMWV covers for a unit on Ft. Huachuca. Connie spent an hour alone holding an overly large roller derby gear bag to ensure perfect stitching of my league's giant logo. In addition, the Ladies have custom embroidered a polo, hat & beanie caps for me. If you need to order shirts or hats, they do that also, so this can save you another trip. If you need custom sewing or embroidery, this is the place to go. Don't let the map fool you, this out of the way shop is worth the drive. No need for a GPS, just follow these directions: From Hwy 90, turn onto Schrader Rd & follow the bend around as it turns into E Reese Blvd. Turn left at the T-intersection of Reese & N Central Ave. Take a left at the T-intersection of N. Central Ave & E Karen Dr. The house will be on the right with a large driveway at 6041 E Karen Dr. The shop is to the left of the house. read more

After calling all around town I found this gem! Talked to Cheryl who was super sweet and said she could have my dress taken in within the week. It was very reasonable and she did a perfect job! I actually ran into her a few hours after I picked it up and she remembered me and asked how it fit. She was genuinely concerned. Super service. Fantastic, alteration. Loved Cheryl! Definitely this is an amazing shop, the work these ladies do is great! Cheryl is the sweetest lady! That is the good review on this end....The other side is not so much, Connie who is one of the ladies in charge, has one BAD ATTITUDE to begin with....but that is not even something that should matter at this point, being that now a days seems like everyone has a reindeer up their......, anyways, being that my sons are attending Berean Academy, I was in need on shirts which to my luck, this is the only place that carries them, well they did not have them on stock so I had to purchase 4 of my own while I waited for the rest to come in. I took them in to be embroidered, and as I was there another parent came in to return 2 shirts of the size i needed. She said you are in luck you can take them, as we were doing this, we were also doing the order form, which clearly read 6 shirts....since the other family returned 2, she wrote with BIG LETTERS, I OWE CUSTOMER 4 SHIRTS, and then even circled it. Of coarse I paid for everything right there and then even without me receiving my merchandise. The following week she called to let me know that the shirts were in and to pick my 2 SHIRTS...When i reminded her they were 4, she started yelling at me telling me that she only owed me 2 since she gave me 2 and as she was yelling, my coworker could hear her from her desk!....i told her to bring it down a notch and explained to her that she indeed still owed me 4....she hanged up mad and told me to pick them up! When i did she commenced to tell me again that it was very questionable how she still owed me 4 ......again i started explaining how it happened and she told me she did not want to hear it to take my shirts...I AM SO BEYOND MAD AT THIS SITUATION! Because I am a better person I did not continue this nonsense with this old woman...but I can guaranty you she will NOT get my business again...she had no problem cashing my check the next day but she is good to imply I am trying to steal from her.....I hope this review she DOES READ AND LEARNS TO TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT!..... better luck to you guys! read more

Let me start by endorsing what the previous reviewer wrote. Many years ago having just returned from 3 years of RV travelling, I had need for some decals being sewn. on my vest (not a biker) and a few other unusual related jobs. Someone gave me directions &I found this jewel pretty easily. Am I glad because over the years they have taken care of my every need. Today I am headed that way to have a new zipper put on my old large shaving kit I use for my daily meds. Can't do without it, and I know they can & will do the job well. Use them often. Took in a BSA Jackshirt and our local 2013 back patch to have sown on. The patch is in the shape of Arizona, so not the easiest. She had it done in 10-15 min and charged me just $5. Vary happy with the service, speed and quality of work. read more
