I recently brought in a soccer jersey for alterations, specifically to have one sleeve and the waist area restitched. I also asked that the seamstress inspect the jersey and address any other areas that needed repair. A week later, I picked up the jersey after paying $14. The cashier was very polite and helpful throughout the process. However, I was disappointed with the quality of the work. The cuff on the sleeve was sewn over the existing loose threads rather than cleaned up first, leaving it looking messy. Additionally, a small repair needed on the other sleeve was not addressed at all. When I pointed this out, the cashier kindly offered to have the work redone if I left the jersey again. After considering it, I decided not to, as I needed the jersey sooner and felt the repairs should have been completed correctly the first time. read more

I'm not sure how this place has received good reviews. The dry cleaning service was poorly executed; my clothes look worse now than when I gave them in. It was a waste of $25. Update: They also wrote on the tag of my uniform with a pen. This was a brand-new uniform that I bought less than a week ago. When I went in today to see how they could resolve the issue, the staff claimed that I had done this to my own uniform. I was asked 7 or 8 times why I didn't bring it back yesterday, and I repeatedly explained that I work in the military and wouldn't be able to return immediately. The woman at the front was extremely disrespectful, especially toward a service member. When I tried to explain my work schedule and how difficult it would be for me to come back, she responded, "Yeah, well I work too," as if comparing her desk job to my service was appropriate. It was a disgusting attitude. The owner assured me that she would fix the uniform today, and my wife is bringing in the shirts. We'll see, but I'm not holding my breath. Again, I do not recommend this place to anyone. Additional Update: The owner lied; now it won't be ready until Monday next week, after my inspection. Final Update: I went to pick up my shirts that needed to be dry cleaned. I entered the shop and handed the receipt to the same unhinged lady at the front. She looked at me and said that she and the owner decided that if I didn't like the condition of the uniform shirts, I could go pay someone else to clean them and that I was "not welcome back." I stared at her, still not having said a word, and then she added, "I don't care what rank you are; we do dry cleaning for Generals and have been established here. Your pictures don't scare us." I assumed she was referring to the review photos I took. At that point, I let out a big sigh and said I would never be returning, and that I didn't care about their store, her, or anything she had to say. It seemed to anger her even more that the response didn't phase me, and she continued to berate me. I explained to her that she could have simply handed me my uniform and let me leave, but instead, she was making a scene, just like the last time, and trying to provoke a reaction from me. I mentioned that I would be reaching out to JAG to inquire about these "Generals" who are supposedly protecting the store from bad reviews, and I would personally request that they blacklist the establishment. Her disrespectful behavior was hard to overlook. Initially, I intended to take my uniform and move on, but now she had escalated the situation. If the military General supposedly protecting this store is reading this, I would love to have a conversation with you. Also, the stain is still there, even after all this wasted time. I am certain they did nothing and just placed a plastic bag over the shirts. I will be filing a dispute with my credit card company; I won't deal with this nonsense anymore. read more

I want to start with my mom used to bring her clothes here to be laundered until recently. What happened you asked? Let me enlighten you. My mom had just purchased a nice summer dress in Bisbee, AZ, and she always takes her new purchased clothes to get laundered and pressed, when she went to pick up her dress the dress which keep in mind she never wore was ruined. Yes! It had a big yellow stain across the dress, and the dress was not yellow. My mom asked the owner what happened to my dress, the owner replied with her thick accent I don't know, but I tried getting the yellow stain out. So the owner tells my mom I'll give you $50 in-store credit, my mom said NO as she slides the yellow stained dress back to the owner with the receipt on top of the dress. My mom told her I paid $108, for the dress which I have yet to wear & most likely won't now. My mom proceeded to say I want $108, refund for damages and I have the receipt. The owner replied I can't do that as she continues to tell my mom she's loosing business etc... My mom insisted, and the owner said I'll give you $100, but you give me the dress so I can dye it and make some of my money back. My mom told her why should I give you my dress and your offer is less than the amount of $108?. At the end my mom didn't want to argue with the lady so my mom agreed to take the $100, & give her the dress, because my mom is a kind hearted good all around wholesome person. The owner then tells my mom come Tomorrow because I don't brink my business checks to work. Lol, so my mom goes the next day to pick up her $100 check and the owner was so rude to my mother all because the owner had to pay for her mistake. If the owner had any sense at all my mom had the receipt, she had witnesses that the dress was new, and she could have easily taken the owner to court and it would have went in my mom's favor, plus this is a small community, and word of mouth spreads like wild fire . Needless to say my mom is never going back, and neither are my family and friends, because there was no need to be rude and tacky to a customer over something the owner obviously ruined herself in her own place of business. read more

Took 3 white sofa cushions for dry cleaning, mainly to be refreshed as it had been a few years since the last cleaning. One had a faint stain, another minor pilling. Upon drop-off, they would/could not provide $ estimate. Said it would take 1 wk for service which is reasonable and expected. As it is a distance to drive to SV, I called the day of promised pick-up to ensure they were ready... the cushions had not even been started. Then upon inspection of each cushion at pick-up, the faint stain and pilling were still on the cushions. As was case upon drop-off, the owner nor a manager was available to speak with. The clerk was apologetic about the poor condition and conveyed this is not unusual... she stated there is often no transparency in providing cost estimates, that the quality of service is often questioned, and the owner is frequently unavailable to discuss the matter. She also conveyed "pilling" removal would have been an extra cost and I did not request it. Of course, I wasn't informed of this extra service upon drop-off to know it had to be requested. After being presented the poorly cleaned cushions, I was then presented the bill - almost $80. Had I wanted to contest the price, I was told I would have to come back when the owner was there - maybe tomorrow, maybe the day after, you never know! Bottom line, go to another dry cleaner! read more

If it needs to be cleaned, Lloyd's can do it. From cleaning drapes, to mending to grandma's quilt, to pressing that uncomfortable work shirt, it will be cleaned with professionalism and care. There are two Locations available; one, on the East side of town, with a Drive-Thru. The best part is the personal service that you receive. Each time I have gone, I am treated with a friendly and prompt greeting and I leave feeling like my clothes are in good hands, only to return to the same friendly faces. The turn around time is reasonable and, if you need it in a hurry, they can do that too. Prices are on par with what you receive. The quality of work is impeccable too. After trying other cleaners in town, I have no need to go anywhere else except Lloyd's. Now what to do with all those blue hangers . . . oh yeah, take them back to be recycled. I took in two long sleeve shirts and a pair of pants for regular laundry (not dry cleaning) and they came back completely reeking of synthetic fragrance chemicals. Downey or some other fabric softener? Now, I have to throw out $100 worth of clothes because I have asthma and allergies which are severely triggered by these synthetic fragrance chemicals. Once it is on clothing, there is no getting it out. NEVER AGAIN will I ever patronize this business. I expect my clothes to be returned to me CLEAN and fresh, not covered in strong chemicals of any kind. read more

I've used Lloyds several times now. Wow! What a difference from Bonanza Cleaners! Impeccably clean and organized. The attendent is young but always welcoming. Good service and my clothes get done in a reasonable amount of time. Everything is pressed and cleaned really nice. I never see anybody working here - maybe there is a back room, but they seem to get the job done. Easy access - parking in front of the establishment. Would definetly recommend. read more

Last Friday I pick up my pants from the cleaners in HWY 92 branch, I want those pants to be heavy starch which was not the lady who works there told me to bring it to the main cleaners when I brought it there the Korean woman supposedly the owner also start yelling at me and start cursing me with every name in the book, I'm retired from the US Army for over 30 years and a Vietnam Veterans who served in 1968-1970. What so disappointing I called the police to file a complain and I'm also disappointed with Sierra Vista Police Department instead they sided with the owner, and it showed me how Sierra Vista Police Department lack of respect to Vietnam Veterans. I believe Sierra Vista Police Department need to do cleaning up in their house, they got to political correct in the department and they get too political as far as I'm concern. read more

I just had two Pendleton wool full size blankets cleaned at Lloyd's. They look like brand new. The staff is friendly and the price was very reasonable. I've been looking for a good dry cleaner and this one has consistently been highly rated. I would definitely use them again. read more

Took my wedding dress here to be preserved, great price! They took around 2 extra days to finish than what they expected but were quick to call us and tell us it would be a little longer. I abandoned the heels at the reception and donned flat sandals, and unfortunately the under part of the hem was filthy. He took his time making sure everything was out without doing any harm to the delicate beading or structure of the dress. When asked if the price needed to be adjusted for all the extra work we were repeatedly told "no, we charged you for a cleaning and preservation and that is all we did". read more

Had asked for one day service, and they were able to accommodate. 2 dress shirts and 1 dress pants. All three look great and they were able to remove the stains in the long sleeve shirt! I will definitely be going back for now on for my dry cleaning needs. read more

Customer service was good, the lady at the counter was cordial and efficient. However upon inspecting my uniform I noted it was dirtier than when I dropped it off, it was as if it hadn't been cleaned. The left sleeve had a large smear of dirt that was not there when I dropped it off. It looked like someone had stepped on it with dirty shoes. read more

I should've known after the first time I used Lloyds when someone else's shirt was included in with mine (which meant one of mine was included with someone else's). Fortunately they were able to figure out the switched mixup. I continued to use Lloyds for over a year. They were "ok" with my husband's shirts but the few times I took some of my shirts, I go to put them on and EVERY SINGLE button was broken (this was a $85 blouse from Talbots). I look at the other 4 blouses and there are buttons broken on every shirt. When I confront them about it they first try to tell me it's my shirts fault. I guess they don't make $100 JCrew and Talbots shirts the way they used to?? Keep in mind my previous cleaner NEVER broke a button. Then they say they'll "try" to fix them but they aren't sure they will have matching buttons. I get the shirts back and the buttons aren't only mismatched but also different colors (white, clear and yellowish). When I complained they tell me at the drive-thru location to go speak to Lloyd at the other location but he's not always there & is difficult to get a hold of. Who has time for that?? Now I have NO shirts for work until I track down Lloyd himself?? That's the last trip for me. read more
