Teresa did the alterations for my wedding dress. I needed the fitted bodice taken in because it was too loose around my rib cage. Instead of taking it in at the seam and taking it in on both sides so the dress would still lay the right way, she literally folded the fabric and did a crooked seam down one side of the fitted bodice. The bodice had panels that were all the same width and it was extremely obvious what she had done. There were visible knicks in the fabric and stains on the dress as well. She also altered the shoulder strap on my dress by the folding the two sides under and sewing it back together unevenly so the pleating on the shoulder strap didn't line up. I had to pay Teresa, take the dress to a different seamstress, and spend double the amount of money to try and salvage the dress. My dress was $1500 so I couldn't afford to get a new dress. Thankfully the second seamstress made it wearable again and the visible damage to the dress didn't show in pictures. But it cost me way more money and stress than expected. read more

If you need a dress altered for a wedding or special event, Teresa is the person you MUST see. I brought her a previously used wedding dress, and when she was done, she made the dress look like it was designed specifically for me. Before finding Teresa, we tried receiving quotes from other seamstresses, but you could tell they were highballing their prices because the dress was for a wedding. Teresa gave us a fair rate and provided the alterations promptly from her *clean* workspace (which is something not to be taken for granted). I felt confident in her expertise and knowledge of how to make the dress fit me just right. Highly recommend!!! read more

Teresa is fantastic in every way. Super accommodating and does beautiful work. She has altered two wedding gowns for me, made a belt for one of those gowns using extra fabric from the hem, and most recently hemmed and took in a bridesmaid dress (it was 3 sizes too big and it fits like a glove now). She's super personable and also helpful with choosing undergarments and teaching you how to bustle a gown. Finally, she is great about COVID precautions and really cares about her clients. I plan to use her in the future for any other garment needs, and I highly recommended to anyone who needs alterations. read more

Teresa is a magician when it comes to making something fit and fit like it was made for you. I've had a few dresses altered by her and each time, I'm so happy I did. Recently, I took her my wedding dress. I had issues with it feeling too snug and I needed the top modified. I brought it to her in what I felt was a short timeline but she had no issues getting it done. She made me feel at home and welcomed. Teresa never has a bad word to say about the fit on your body and makes you feel beautiful. She works hard to get it right and her skill really shows in her work.
