The service at Kia on the boulevard is a total scam. (Desimone owns that dealership) I took my less than one year old soul there for an oil change. They told me I needed a $1,000 brake job. Went here for a state inspection and was told I needed a ton of work done on my car to pass inspection. Needed a few days for the parts to come in so I decided to pick up my car and keep it in the meantime. One of the workers who drove my car out straight up told me that I didn't need some of what they were telling me I needed. Brought the car to Mavis for a second opinion and turns out all I needed was two tires... saved me $1100. Icing on the cake is that I was told by Desimone that I couldn't complete my inspection anywhere else since they started it. The guys at mavis laughed when I told them this. Inspection now completed and passed. Don't waste your time here because they'll absolutely try to take advantage of you. read more

My car was involved in a hit and run and boy I tell you the last thing you want to deal with is a horrible shop. They have claimed that they fixed several issues but I pointed them out and they told me it was SUPPOSED to be like that. I guess things sticking out and not fully attached is how it's supposed to be. Not until I voiced my concerned to my insurance and the Auditor contacted the shop when the issues were resolved. Their alignment is still off by 5 degrees and their "reconditioned" wheels still have scratches, and there is a rattling noise coming from the rear suspension they "fixed." read more

My car was hit and needed a new bumper. Filed a claim dropped it off the next day and within four days my car was ready. The bumper repair looks bran new, they had car washed and clean upon my arrival. Job was impeccable. Would recommend to family and friends. read more

Regin, I realize you were stuck in the middle as merely the messenger for your dealership's owner and have no personal vendetta against you. However, I was treated extremely poorly with the constant back-and-forth and did, in fact, incur substantial expenses in reliance on your written promise that I would be able to be the car inspected. I was transparent and upfront at all times. You and every person I spoke with knew that I do not live in Philadelphia and would need to travel to see/buy the car. The last conversation I had with your General Manager (to which you were not a party) I was told that they "could see what [they] can do" about reimbursing me. That simply wasn't good enough -- particularly after the objectively ridiculous treatment I received. I look forward to taking your deposition. read more

Gene and his staff treat you like family when you come in. I take my cars there for everything from body work to state inspections. My cars are serviced timely and look clean upon pickup. They have a fleet of rental cars should you need a loner. I highly recommend this shop! read more

I'm incredibly impressed with this entire business. I wrecked my car and wanted to have it close to my home for check ups. I live in Old City and it is within walking distance. So, my car was towed and the towing supervisor, John drove me SEPARATELY to the shop so that I could rent a car. It was the easiest process after having an accident on I-95 that turned into a major ordeal of police officers, insurance companies and PENNDOT staff. Becky in the front office was incredibly helpful and kind, the owner of the dealership came out to welcome me to his establishment and they allowed me to chose the car I wanted for a rental. Now, they are completely handling my car repairs with my insurance company and have followed up with me several times to give me updates on parts, labor and time estimates. I will be recommending these good people to all friends and neighbors. I am so incredibly impressed with their compassion and helpfulness through this entire ordeal. read more

I was involved in an accident in mid-July and Desimone's towing team moved my vehicle from the accident site. The tow truck driver was a class act. However, having my repairs done at Desimone has been the worst transaction ever. Two months later and my car is still not repaired. They have consistently blamed the parts supplier for delays but on four separate occasions, the part supplier has provided evidence that Desimone has failed to order any of the parts they claim to be waiting on. When they have been called out they claim the manufacturer is lying and while they cannot provide order numbers, swear they have ordered the parts. After physically going to the part supplier and having them show me their order history to validate this claim in preparation for legal action, Desimone told me they have tried everything in their power to get the parts but have a shop to run so I should reach out to the parts supplier and have them contact someone on their cell phone. This shop is a complete mess and full of lies. 58 days into the repair, I still do not have a completed vehicle that suffered only glass and side door damage. Avoid this place at all costs. read more

I had an insurance claim that required some bodywork. Desimone was fantastic. I was so lucky the tow truck guy suggested them. They handled all the headaches of insurance and my car was returned to me in perfect condition. The bodywork was superior and the interior of the car had been detailed (what a nice surprise!). Recently was in car accident while on my way to work. I'm a physician and work long days including weekends at times. I don't have time for accidents. I certainly don't have time to micromanage maneuver insurance companies. Desimone treated me like I was family. They made my look like new. It turned out my battery died while in repairs and they covered that in the estimate as well. They made it easy for me. I'm a female and always worry about body shops robbing me. They were respectful and did not take advantage of the fact that I'm a female. Would definitely return for future repairs and maintenance. read more

No star at all!!! If there is negative, this store deserve negative 100 stars!!! A guy called Tony at this store is disgusting! My car was drivable, but still was towed to this shop on Sunday. I started to call them on Monday trying to get an estimate, I called them 7 times! They finally gave me estimate on Thursday afternoon. (Never got a single call from them during the 4 days! ) i was not satisfied with Tony's estimate and decided to fix somewhere else. I went to the shop on Friday afternoon before 5 pm (their close time), but nobody's got my key there. The disgusting guy called Tony was gone! Only left a bill of $1090!!! $1090! They didn't do anything to my car yet!! The reason why my car stayed at their place is because they didn't give me estimate! They even wanted to charge me 4 day storage fee!!! Still now, I didn't get my car! This shop wants to extort $1090 from me for a car that they've done nothing with! read more

I was polite and patient with these slackers and even after getting everything out together I came out with additional scratches to my vehicles paint! Deep ones too! These guys can call and reply to things and say they aren't liable and this that and the third but it clearly states in my claim copy of everything that was meant to be replaced and it wasn't! never come here unless you're willing to get a half ass job! These guys don't do well with accident repairs period, it's sad that a company like this sucks so badly at doing something they specialize in. read more

No star would be my preference. Drove from DC to Philly to see a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT 8. The price listed was slightly higher than the number on the carfax report they gave me, which is fine. The salesman had no problem letting me take the car to a local mechanic during the test drive so I did. Here were the issues that were found: 1. The air conditioning hose on the driver side front was leaking coolant. The car never got cold with the air conditioning running the entire test drive. 2. The steering rack had been replaced and they forgot to tighten the left front outer tie rod. The mechanic could manually make the wheel wobble back and forth with the vehicle on the lift. This a serious safety issue. 3. Vehicle needed an alignment. 4. Water marks/stains on the interior roof near the back of the sunroof. The sunroof probably leaked at some point or was left open, but the dealer wouldn't even run water on it to show me whether it was still leaking. 5. Large scratch on one of the side rocker panel guards. 6. Missing front right air damn trim. 7.. Curb rash on at least one wheel. 8. Multiple issues with the clearcoat and the aftermarket blackout work that was done to the vehicle (some was peeling off, one of the tailpipes didn't match the other, etc). The salesman indicated he couldn't fix all of the issues at the price he had it listed (again, a price higher than the carfax report they provided). I asked which of the issues he could fix. He had to get up again and go ask the GM. He came back and said he couldn't fix any of the problems at the price listed. The tie rod alone is a safety issue and the fact they'd let a buyer take it home when the wheel could fall off at any time is disgusting. read more

Came here today after viewing some of their vehicles on CarGurus as well as their own website. When I arrived at the dealership I was informed that the car was listed incorrectly and would actually cost about $2,000 more then the listed price. I also found a second vehicle I was interested in, however this again either never existed or was an incorrect listing. Really bad experience here and honestly glad to not have given my business. Just got charged $75 to replace the bulb in my headlight! They also were trying to charge me over $100 to change my license plate and got my car back with my check engine light on. I cant speak to their sv dept or body shop, only about their car sales. I had a good experience with Mike, when looking at a used car for sale. I'm giving it 4 stars instead of the full 5 because I didnt end up buying the car so I cant say for sure what would have happened, if I had. However Mike was very good to deal with, very open, informative, and respectful. I recommend asking for him if you consider buying a car at the 2nd street location. read more

Purchased a car from this location had no problem w/ getting the vehicle, sales men were awesome dealt w/ MIKE & AlVIN but when it came to getting a part that was missing on my vehicle when I purchased it, it was a huge problem, was told numerous of times it was on back order come to find out it was never ordered after awaiting almost 4 months, Spoke w/ Both salesman VERY DISAPPOINTING no one can give me answers as to why this happened, then was told TONY I'm guessing this is the mechanic was supposed to have ordered it but did nothing after finally ordering it was told it will be there in two days called in two days still not there so I been giving the run around for 4 months very disgusted, But NO will not RECOMMEND no one don't won't them to have to experience what I went through very awful'!!!
