Ryan immediately noticed that my particular roofing system was not sufficient for my house.He pointed out that my house didn't have many ridges, to support the Ridge Vent Ventilation System. He suggested that I go with a turbine system that would maximum my ventilation system that would in return help extend the life of my roof. Ultimately I opted to file an insurance claim which is quite a lengthy process. Ryan offered to come out when the insurance inspector came out to evaluate my roof. He helped me throughout the process and made sure I understood all the roofing terminology. He was an invaluable resource through the entire process. Houston Roofing company is a great choice if you are looking for a superior level of knowledge and service. During the installation, they caused severe damage to my front yard, including destroying a rare and expensive Japanese maple tree. Their method of "protecting" plants was just throwing a tarp over them, which did nothing to shield them from falling shingles and tools. A three-story ladder fell on my shrubs, damaging several, and worse -- it also fell onto my brand-new AC unit, bending the top grill. Since then, the ventilator has been rotating only millimeters away from the edge on one side, at risk of scraping. On top of that, there were permit issues. It took multiple emails and calls from me -- both to the company and the permit office -- to get it straightened out. They tried to tell me that "approval of the drawings" was the same as having the permit approved, which was not true. The confusion dragged out the inspection process unnecessarily. They never offered to fix or compensate for any of the damage. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend them.

They cut down and chopped up limbs then inspected cleared roof. They found the roof to be sound and patched down a couple of shingles. Very honest and straightforward. Two years ago we had a roof repair by Shingle Hut and were very satisfied with the cost and general helpfulness of the project coordinator. He gave us several options at a reasonable price. Fast forward to hurricane Beryl damage 2024... shingles were flying from a new part of the roof! Mark with Shingle Hut came through!! We were quoted double the price by another company who REFUSED to give us a cash price and wanted to ONLY work with insurance to cover the cost. Our Hurricane policy deductible was over $20,000... needless to say I needed an affordable and reasonable cash option. Mark offered us a couple different packages and was great about follow up without being pushy. He followed through with everything he discussed and was responsive on phone calls, text and email. Financing options are offered on their website by 3rd party but even that part was fantastic... very quick and responsive- again with options on loans to fit a variety of budget needs. I called a few companies, and Adam's Roofing was the only one that actually took time to explain what might be going on instead of immediately trying to sell me a full roof replacement. They came out when they said they would, did a very thorough inspection, took photos, and walked me through everything step by step so I could actually understand the damage. What I appreciated most was the honesty -- they told me my roof still had life left in it and recommended repairs instead of pushing for a new roof.
