The front is maintained giving the illusion that the whole cemetery is well maintained, but the back kooks like trash. Very disrespectful to the families and loved ones of those that have passed. Springhill Cemetery (Hernando, MS) was established in 1836. For years, cattle roamed the cemetery and broke off many of the tombstones. It was covered over by kudzu, briars, and honeysuckle before Mayor Ferguson and others undertook its restoration.
