Destin tattoo company is a tattoo and body piercing location in Destin Florida that I stoped in on while vacation to get my oldest daughters and her friends helix pierced. Due to different local laws my oldest and her friend can't get there helix (eat cartilage) pierced so when planning our vacation to Destin we found out they can with a parent Id and notary permission. We called around and this place said they can fit them in no problem as long as a parent for both was there to do Notary and witness. The helix piercing is $50 including the earrings they use. The notary for a minor will run you an extra $10. You must have cash for this. They can not take credit card for the notary part. The piercer/artist was very good and patient with my daughter and her friend. They were pretty nervous and he answer all there questions and help relive some of that fear. The piercings were quick and painless and they were both very happy overall. Overall good experience. We came to get something accomplished and they provided that in a quick and painless manner. I felt comfortable the whole time and they kept me the parent in the loop and by my minor the entire time so I know everything was done professional and by the the Florida law limits. read more

Reached out to one of the artists a month before my trip to schedule an appointment for a small hand tattoo. When I arrived for my appointment he had a another person he was about to tattoo. I wanted to make a small change to the tattoo design I picked out and he said I would then have to come back 3 hours later (which we already had different plans for that time). Although the web shows amazing work, we went to do a walk in and the gentleman that greeted us was not helpful at all and really tried to upsell a larger piece on our bodies. What my wife wanted was doable, and we had it done to the size she wanted at another shop. Do not tell customers who have tattoos that something can not be done. It shows the talent or lack there of. I gave 3 stars based on talent shown on the web, no stars for telling a customer what will be done on their bodies... it's forever, not a cash grab. read more

Went in on 4th of July and got a small tattoo on my wrist. I only have one tattoo so i'm not very keen on them but i do know when something on my own body doesn't look right. I got the tattoo and he just taped a paper towel on it and sent me on my way and it looked fine on the first day or so and then really swelled up and turned some nasty colors. i tried converting it for an hour or two every day and keeping it clean and all of that and still almost a week later it's looking pretty rough and very swollen. i've lost a lot of the ink which is disappointing considering i paid for it and don't want to have to come get it fixed. Just wanting something worth my money. And he told me it looked fine to him blah blah blahBut overall don't recommend this shop at all. Pretty bad experience read more

Visited the establishment this evening and was met with very unprofessional staff at the door. The artist didn't seem interested in helping and the fact that we were walk in didn't seem appealing to him, after phoning previously to ask if they do walk ins where they told us to come immediately and they would happily help us. The artist was rude and asked personal questions and made potential clients feel uncomfortable and offended. Needless to say - we didn't get tattoos for them. I went in for a walk in, I told the artist I was local and military and he did not give me a discount. The walk in price was outrageous. I gave a generous tip I regret. My art was mediocre and the artist did not talk to me at all. Very uncomfortable experience. Would not recommend supporting a business that doesn't even support patriotism. read more

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. Went in with my mom and aunt because they were wanting to finish their matching sister tattoos. Both men that were there were totally rude. The first one wouldn't even look them in the face while they were talking and the other one just said they couldn't do it over and over without an explanation. They were both total assholes. Walked in thinking we all were going to get tattoos but were immediately turned off by the attitude of the only artist working. Asked for a tattoo the size of my watch to be retouched and was told it's a bad tattoo (and later insulted other tattoos on my arm as well), told me retouching it would make it his tattoo and it would be $120 but since it's someone else's work he'd do it for $100. There's a sign on the outside of the shop that advertises military discount and when we asked about it he said that's why he's doing it for $100 even though he had no idea we were military until that was said. Overall it was horrible customer service. 4 of us wanted to get tattoos and only one ended up getting it and only for the touch up that was overpriced. read more

Tattoo "artist" was rude and didn't want to work told him what I wanted and all he could do was tell me why he wouldn't do it or shouldn't do it even though he showed me the pictures of the design I had money in hand and was prepared to get it done but no way I was letting them do it.
