Awesome experience with driver Stephen. First time I'd ever used DD and its about the same as Uber but without the wait. Went to Niner, Opolo, Sextant and Tooth and Nail. All were wonderful but the lunch at Opolo was great. My daughter still raves about their salad. Best view was Niner. Tooth was a very cool castle and we had a great bottle of Pino on the patio. DD is the BEST service! We scheduled at the last minute for a busy Saturday tasting day and they made sure to get us a driver. Safety first! Rick was our SUPERB driver. He got to our vacation rental early...and we were renting out a barn on a horse farm..not an easy feat to find let alone find early. I can't imagine wine tasting any other way anymore! We used their services in Paso Robles but their website offers drivers in quite a few places. A driver comes and picks you up wherever you are staying. Then they use your own car to drive you around. You choose the time frame, timeline, the wineries, all in the comfort of your own car. They bring you cheese, bread, and water to keep you full and hydrated. They open your doors and carry your purchases. We had Baxter and he was everything my husband and I could have wanted. He was a safe driver, took us into each place to get us situated, and was extremely personable. Me, being kind of a nerd about fun facts, loved that he knew so much about the towns, each vineyard, and even the history of specific locations. He didn't even use GPS! I'd highly recommend him. To make things even better it was only $35 an hour to drive both my husband and I around. We had him for 5 hours and it cost us what one spot on a tour shuttle service would have, except we weren't with a bunch of strangers and we had full control of where to go and how long we stayed at each location. read more

We had an amazing experience with Sean, his company and Roland, our driver. Although we already had some idea of which wineries we wanted to go to, Sean made some excellent suggestions for changes which we took. He texted us early on after we made the reservation to check in and answer any questions we had. Roland, our driver was amazing! He too texted us to make sure he had all of the information he needed from us to make our day perfect. He was on time, incredibly sweet, professional and informative about the area. We have used Destination Drivers to tour the Paso Robles wine country multiple times and have not been disappointed. Daneen was our driver yesterday and we very much enjoyed our day. Daneen is an excellent driver - not too fast and not too slow and definitely knows her way around highway 46. We knew a couple places we wanted to go to but she also suggested a couple more that were excellent! She knows the area and a lot of the people too, which makes it that much more fun. Although we only went to dog-friendly wineries, Daneen was very happy to entertain our Scottie Isabel while mom and dad tasted. Usually my husband will not let anybody watch our dog because she can be willful, but he said he was comfortable with Daneen because he could tell she truly loves dogs. If you plan on touring the Paso wine country I highly recommend Destination Driver. I would give more stars if I could for Sean. He took my cousins and I around for two days in Santa Ynez (Santa Barbara County) area. Sean met us very promptly both days armed with a cooler of cold water and drove our own car. He was organized, professional and really helpful. We pretty much knew where we wanted to go but were a bit open-minded and Sean helped us out more than a few times. My cousins are purchasers and Sean was always there to carry out our bags and bags of wine when we were ready to go. We took a all day wine tour to celebrate my birthday. We had a agenda that took us to 7 of our favorite wineries. Sean picked us up at our hotel (perfectly on time) and got everything set up with the car rental agency to drive our car. He was so helpful and professional through out the day. We had a fantastic experience with Sean's company, Destination Drivers. Our driver Eric was so kind and professional. Our day started a little rough as we had lost an iPhone in town the night prior. Eric kindly delayed our departure by 30 minutes so that we could wait for the restaurant to reopen in order to get the phone back and enjoy the day. He brought us water and a cheese plate and opened the doors. He also walked us into each winery to make sure that we would be attended to quickly, and then he would go park the car and keep an eye on us. He was always there when we needed him, and yet somehow kept out of sight and allowed us our own private experience. I really cannot say enough good things about this company! Billy was our driver and was incredibly helpful; volunteering to make a Starbucks run in the middle of wine tasting for those of us who were starting to feel nap inclined. Update on 4/27 - The company did reach out to me and acknowledged the communication issues and offered to make it right. It's great to see a company use feedback to improve customer's experience. 4/26 - Used this company for some wine tasting in Paso Robles. Our driver was really friendly and safe. Even though were were all vaccinated, he wore a mask the entire time which was great touch. In general though, this company is not very organized. I received numerous calls, emails, and text over the course of 3 weeks asking exactly the same information. It became a bit frustrating to keep having to share my itinerary and information over and over again. I feel like 10 different people were asking for the same info. I requested 3 times that my start time be moved up 15 minutes and the timing was never corrected on the itinerary or the pick-up. I mean the owner acknowledged 24 hours after the tour was complete. Plus, there were no help in picking wineries. I wasn't expecting nearly the same service I get when I hire a private driver (use JZ from Elite Wine Services) but the assistance here was pretty disappointing. They were just completely unresponsive. Not horrible and a super nice driver but just wish they stepped up the service a bit in planning stages. read more

We had a delightful time in Paso Robles over the past Harvest Wine Weekend (October 14-16, 2016) This company responds to your inqueries very quickly and is totally reliable. The driver we were originally going to have couldn't make our outing due to family illness and the owner of the company came and substituted for him. He took us to wonderful wineries that we had never seen or heard of plus our family favorites. He supplied water and a fruit, cheese, cranberry and bread appetizer.
