I called 2NE1 Spa Foot Reflexology ahead of time to ask how much a 60-minute massage cost, and the gentleman who answered the phone told me it was $55. Based on that price, I brought $70 in cash with me so I could leave a $15 tip. Unfortunately, the massage itself was not relaxing as I had hoped. The woman used an excessive amount of pressure and a punching-type technique that made the massage quite painful rather than relaxing. The lady also was passing gas during the massage multiple times. When I went to pay, I was told the price was actually $65. Since I had brought $70 based on the price I was quoted over the phone, I only had $5 available for a tip. When the gentleman saw the amount I was leaving, he pressured and bullied me into using the ATM to withdraw additional cash for a larger tip. I felt extremely uncomfortable and embarrassed, especially with other customers waiting behind me. The unexpected price difference was frustrating, but being pressured to withdraw additional money for a tip was what really made this experience unpleasant. A tip should be voluntary and based on the customer's experience--not something a customer feels pressured into giving. Unfortunately, I left feeling uncomfortable rather than relaxed, and I would not return. Mind you, I'm an 18 year old girl who was bullied by this man. read more

First time here. The staff was super nice, they did a great job with my foot massage. I cannot believe it was only $45 for an hour. They have comfortable chairs which they recline as far as you'd like. They start out with your feet in the hot sanitizer water while they rub your shoulders and neck. I couldn't believe the muscles on the therapist, that who is taking care of me. Frankly, it was kind of painful part of the time, but it hurts so good. Unfortunately we were just visiting or else I would be here every week without fail next time I'm in town. I'll be getting the full massage and the foot rub. The only place I'll go for a massage in Western New York. For table massage with oil (undressing to undergarments) you get a same-sex therapist. If it's dry rubbing (no undressing) you get either. I have been going here for years now and they really know what they're doing. I sleep funny on my arm sometimes and my shoulder gets all outta whack but they straighten me right out. I was in a serious need for a massage but my go to place was all booked for the next few weeks. I've driven by this place a few times and thought I would try it out. I booked a 90 minute massage with a female therapist. I never got her name but this was honestly one of the best massages I have ever gotten. It's like she knew where everything hurt. Her strokes were nice and smooth and also very deep just how I like it. In addition, you get a short hot stone session and your back gets wiped down afterwards. I would definitely come back. For $80, this was a steal! I also got a FULL 90 minute massage and not the we will deduct ten minutes just because you're undressing. She set a 90 minute timer before my massage. If you are looking for a cheap and no frill massage, this is the place for you. You won't get cucumber slices on your eyes or cute little slippers, but you'll get an excellent massage! read more

Traveling through the area after a long day of hiking near Niagara, they were able to accommodate two of us on short notice. The owner was friendly and communicated well on the phone. He actually called back with an opening shortly after initially telling me that the schedule was full. We had the $55 one hour combo of 30 minutes of body massage (including oil and hot stone) before moving to the recliners for 30 minutes of foot massage preceded by foot soak. The place was clean and relatively quiet, although only curtains separated the treatment "rooms" in the back so you could hear other people if they were talking. The therapists were excellent, using good technique and pressure to find sore muscles. They seemed to be doing brisk business, so calling ahead is definitely advised. I was very happy with this place. At 30 dollars for a 30 min back massage they offer quite the bang for you buck. I was impressed at how communicative and responsive my masseuse was. He was very concerned if he was using too much pressure. He found the right amount of pressure to strength to really work out the knots. I rarely treat myself to this kind of service but for the price I couldnt say no. The owner is so wonderful also. He is always happy to see his patrons. Went in for a 30 minute body massage which was a great time with the help of Lee! He's very professional and definitely worked out a lot of knots that have caused me a great deal of soreness at my desk job. Very fairly priced and polite service! I didn't try reflexology, but I'm sure they'd do a great job with it too! There seems to be 4 massage chairs for reflexology and several massage tables with curtains. I booked a 1 hour foot reflexology session. When I walked in, the man working asked if I was interested in doing a half hour foot reflexology and half hour full body massage, I decided sure why not. I'm so glad I did because both were absolutely incredible!! The guy who worked on me was named Tom and he knew exactly where all my knots were. He didn't ask any questions regarding problem areas (I'm assuming because he didn't speak much English) but it didn't matter because he knew anyways! The prices are by far the best in the area. If you are looking for a fancy spa, then this isn't the place for you but if you are looking for an amazing full body massage and/or foot reflexology session, I highly highly recommend! I called in advance to see if they had any openings for a reflexology massage that day- they were very accommodating/ the man who answered the phone said I could come in in about 30 mins. The place is quaint, clean and welcoming. I had a 30 min foot and leg massage that was so fantastic. My attendant was very good -before he starts the foot massage, he does a light neck and back massage - then you turn around onto the chair and he begins the foot massage part- they go all the up the leg to just below the knee- it felt fantastic!! Very clean facilities and very friendly, professional staff. My one criticism would be that it is very loud in the foot treatment room. The walls are extremely thin and you can hear everybody in the waiting area as well as the owner/manager, laughing and joking on every single phone call. As people go up and down the stairs and move about the second floor, it is extremely noisy downstairs. The foot treatment area can become more of a thorough fare as opposed to a relaxing quiet space. The foot massage treatment is very enjoyable and definitely worth the modest pricing however, in the future, I will be sure to bring my own headphones to try and block out the excessive disruptions. read more

I used to love this place. However now they apparently have a 20% minimum tip requirement. A tip is what I feel like I want to add to what I am already paying, based on my experience. In my opinion a 15% tip was not unreasonable considering the fact that the person, even though they did a good job, didn't understand one word of English and did not unstand when I ask to be careful with my mediport. He looked very confused when I tried to explain it. I really don't like when I am told that I HAVE to add the 20%. I have gone to this foot reflexology establishment for five years now. The owner has always been super nice and welcoming and very accommodating with his appointment times. Today I brought my family for 5 foot reflexology appointments. When I offered to pay with my card, he declined and said cash only which has been a new policy. That was not an issue. However, when I was trying to count my tips for each of the workers, he started freaking out, saying that Indians never tip well. He said " you Indian people are not poor, but you never tip enough!!!" I told him, sir I have been coming here for five years and I have always tipped well. He said not you, Indian people in general. And I could tell he was getting very irritated. This was a really bad experience and very out of character for him. But regardless, I do not think I will be returning to this place, ever again, as it felt like he was attacking my race. read more
