Destination Outlets is like walking through a Ghost Town. There are a few stores like the bridal store and Home buys, which is great because they have a lot of good closeout merchandise. But there really is no other reason to stop here. I feel sorry for the owners because they are losing lots of money. read more

I'm not much of a shopper, particularly an outlet shopper, but I've been here a few times over the years. Huge, handy off the highway. This time it was a pitstop on the way back from Ren Fest. A place to eat and get off the road. And for Kid K to shop. I told her it would probably be busy since it was an outlet mall on a Saturday. It was not. Hardly anyone there. Half the stores were gone, empty, and a fair number of those still there were not open. We went to Carter's, TJ Maxx, BBW, and Pottery Barn. All huge, all with lots of interesting items. Most not at great prices, but a few real deals. Service at each was friendly. Not super easy to find each store, though there are signs at the end of each row. Easiest way to get around was to look at Yelp and see where each store was. No food to speak of in the mall. Fast food and a few other places out at the road. Restrooms were clean. And amusing (see pic.) The outlet down 71 slowly withered and died. This doesn't look that bad. Yet. It'll probably be years before I'm back, and I am not betting on it being open then... read more

The outlet has its name changed, so we decided to check it out to see whether there is anything new. To our disappointment, nothing new. But quite few stores are closed. Even the Nike store! This is a dying outlet mall. We frequently stopped here when driving from Columbus to Cincinnati or Louisville but were very disappointed during a recent visit. The mall still has a good selection of the stores frequently found in outlet malls -- Nike, Ann Taylor, Yankee Candle, Chinos, Levis, Coach, Ralph Lauren, etc. -- BUT, over half the mall is vacant. Granted, we were there on a weekday afternoon during spring break - but it was like walking through a ghost town. As for the prices - there are NOT what I'd expect for an outlet mall. Even with 30 and 40% discounts at some of the stores - the prices were still high compared to local non-outlet stores in greater Columbus. If you're driving by and want to stretch your legs - it's not a bad place to stop. If you looking for bargains - keep driving. And don't make this your "destination" - it's not worth the drive. read more

Much less crowded than the Sunbury outlets, and a pretty good selection of stores. We didn't find anything we wanted to buy, but we really enjoyed the food trucks (tacos!) and the spotlessly clean restrooms. They also have a huge TJ Maxx here. A good shopping stop right off of 71. read more

A girlfriend suggested we meet here and I agreed. So happy to learn it's under new ownership and the retailers all sing their phrases...they care and are making improvements and adding family values. There are a few really nice new stores...one is Cranberry Boutique and the other I just can't remember the name. But these are local businesses and I like that focus. There's also a new Rally store, and it's hopping during Superbowl Season and our local teams doing so well! Who Dey? Some of the best anchor type stores have hung in...Pottery Barn, Chicos, Coach, Michael Kors, Williams Sonoma. I hope some of the former stores return...children's clothing, shoes, makeup. There's also a new coffee shop that has good eats as well. We looked in...large and clean. Several of the retailers raved about it. We had already made other plans because we didn't know it would be there. I can't wait to see what the next year brings to this mall, which had been such a disappointment in the past under former owners who didn't take an active interest. I used to really like this outlet mall, however, it appears that it is on it's last leg. More stores seem to continue to close every few months, and the owners cannot bring new stores in quick enough. Williams Sonoma, Nike, Michael Kors, Sunglass Hat, Old Navy, Yankee Candle, H&M, and more have all closed. The Coach outlet store will be closing in January 2024. There is little to no foot traffic at this center. I've been on weekends and the place is a ghost town. It's really unfortunate. The only store I really came here for was Open Box, Nike, Coach, and Bath & Body Works. There really isn't even a point in coming here now, since Bath & Body will be the only thing left that I like. On a positive note - this Bath & Body outlet is one of the few true outlet stores around. They have a lot of clearance and special buys that the normal stores and "fake" outlet stores don't have. Hopefully the new owners can figure something out, but it isn't looking good for Destination Outlets. read more

This outlet center seems to be in transition. A lot of the stores were empty. Some of my favorites were still here including Ann Taylor, Bath & Body and Kate Spade. There is a Pepperidge Farm store with really good prices. There is also a TJ Maxx which isn't technically an outlet but you can always find some good items for a good price. Typical outlet mall-maybe 1/3 of the storefronts had businesses in them. Lots of empties. Slow crowd on a late September Sunday-Yay! Carters outlet was the bomb 70% all.the.time! Crocs store prices weren't great-I can order online cheaper Older mall but seemed well maintained. Clean restrooms-soda machines at every corner-water fountains at restrooms-nice fenced dog park-playground for kiddos too. American Eagle store was much higher priced than the one at Myrtle Beach (501 location) Wide variety of fast food at the interstate exit next to the mall.....your only food option at the mall were pretzels. There's a great selection of stores at Tanger and you're likely to find what you're looking for. My two nits with the Jeffersonville Outlet are that 1) the prices aren't any cheaper than the same stores located at a regular mall 2) a few of the retailers seem to manufacture lower quality goods specifically to sell as outlet items (e.g., banana republic, j crew). I make the trip down to this outlet mall once or twice a year to swipe the plastic in exchange for a few bagfuls of stuff. So why come here at all? It's not really cheap anymore. It used to be when they sold over-runs, closeouts and irregulars. Their prices are maybe a little better than typical retail - just depends on what you are looking for so the shopping here is not great but it's decent. Their pricing is really annoying with almost everything on sale with some things being marked down from the markdown prices so be sure to have your calculator handy to figure out what something actually costs. Goodness knows you'll need it for all the math you'll be doing. The nice thing about this outlet is that it's an easy drive from Columbus, Dayton and Cincinnati. It's right on the highway so it's easy to get to. There's plenty of shops and they do change them up from time to time. It's well laid out and easy to shop. Also, if you go on off peak times, you might just find you almost have the place for yourself. They've been here for three decades but you'd never know it from they way they keep it clean and well kept up. Also, for anyone with kids there's a couple of play areas in the front and back to help the little ones burn off some of that energy. One other thing...it's not over run by hoards of teenagers....a personal pet peeve. Of course this is Yelp so I have to mention the food. There's a sad food court here with the choice of cheese steak sandwiches, food court Chinese and Cincinnati chili. Don't like that? Well there's a Mickey D.'s and a Wendy's at the entrance. Large outlet mall with SEVERAL stores to choose from. My top picks: White House Black Market, Nike, J Crew, Banana Republic, Nautica and Bath & Body Works among others. This is the largest outlet mall within a few hundred mile radius. If you are a AAA member, make sure to stop by the information booth in the food court and pick up a coupon book for the stores. read more

I love these outlets for multiple reasons: 1) when I'm driving to columbus from cincinnati, it's my mid-way point 2) they're easily accessible, right off the highway 3) bath and body works outlet!!!! (They don't have one of these in Monroe :( ) 4) they're near cheap gas- so a two-in-one stop I always come specifically for the b&bw outlet (I adore their products but can't bring myself to pay 12 bucks for a bottle of lotion) but yesterday I ended up browsing for more. It's basically outlet heaven (and bank account nitemare! Lol) I ended up getting rolling pins for my baking at kitchen collection and some kids clothes for my little sweeties at Gymboree. And I know I said bank account nitemare but really you can't beat outlet prices. It's a great midway point for stopping and again, perfect location! Took a day trip down to Jeffersonville with some friends to shop at the outlet mall. Although a nice day, the shopping venture was disappointing. I don't make it down here very often. But, the past couple of times, my sentiments have been the same. One drives to an outlet mall because you are looking for bargains. It is what an outlet mall is suppose to be all about. Seems that has changed over time. I believe it is actually worse than full retail. You are a captive audience. Be careful with the savings signs. In one store, "Buy 1, Get 2 Free" was advertised. The price of one item was equivalent to 1/3 of what I can buy for the same product and brand back home. I left frustrated and disappointed. Selection can be hit or miss. I expect that at an outlet mall, but with it being more of a full retail mall than an "outlet mall", it becomes disappointing. It was a challenge to find a range in sizes for product items. The has been a lot of build up around Jeffersonville to offer overnight stays, fuel stops and quick dining to accommodate travelers. It is easy access from the freeway, but traffic can be heavy. I'll think twice before traveling the distance as opposed to shopping online or visiting local retail. Sign me ... bagless. read more

I have to agree with the review written by Libby V. We too have gone as a group to Christmas shop for the past 30 years but this year - it just wasn't the same. Lots of empty storefronts and what was there looked tired. What use to be the food court now has only the restroom and tables and chairs and a Christmas tree. Next year we will make plans to go elsewhere unless things drastically change. read more

I have not been here since before Covid, so I assume the current state is due to Covid. It is a ghost town. Easily 50% of the place is empty. No food option at all. We were there for maybe an hour. It's closer for us than the Tangier Outlets up off of 37, but we should have made the drive anyway. First of all, let me say that I LOVE hitting the outlet mall on a warm, sunny day in Ohio. I always head down to Jeffersonville with either my Mom or my husband. When I go there with my Mom, we always enjoy going to the kitchen stores like Correlle, Kitchen Korner and such. It feels like we are in a 'candy store' when we go to those stores. We also check out the other stores in the area for bargains. Very seldom, if ever, we ever drove home without any bargains or good deals. The catch to the entire mall is to find a good parking spot towards the middle of the mall so you're not stuck with walking the entire mall to find your car. There are a few places to eat at the food court for lunch or dinner. There is a chinese restaurant that is there that serves ok-good food. Outside the mall there is Wendy's, McDonalds and a couple of other restaurants. You can definitely find some good bargains at the outlet malls. Just have an open mind and go through all the stores and have fun!! read more

We usually try to stop here on our way to or from Columbus, OH. It's located along I71 about halfway between Cincinnati and Columbus near Jeffersonville. Store selections are very decent for this somewhat small outlet mall. Some of our favorite stores are Eddie Bauer, Clarks/Bostonian, Banana Republic to name a few. Jos. A Banks closed not too long ago since they got bought up by Men's Warehouse, I heard. Occasionally we may go to Wilson Leather if we are looking for something in particular. Of course, we check quite a few stores while we are there...you know, just looking... The only thing I really don't like this outlet is the food court. It's really lacking in my opinion. I know you don't go to an outlet mall to eat good food per se, but since you are there and we normally get hungry, we wish to have some good choices for food. Tanger outlets are conveniently located one hour north from Cincinnati and on my way back to Cleveland. I have been to many factory outlet stores in different states and many in north east Ohio. This place is very different from all of them. I can totally understand why anyone will go there for shopping. It is not a very good place for those who are looking to buy one or two things because that can be easily done in the local store. This is a location for shopping spree or just stop by on your way somewhere if it happens to be in between (some people will make sure it is!!). They have a very wide variety of brands from a typical upper tier to regular middle class stuff. I enjoyed shopping at most of the places I visited and found a good deal of selection with cheap prices. Overall they have maintained it in a nice clean facility with a lot of parking and dining options near by. I would be a regular here on my way back and forth between Cincinnati and Cleveland. read more

My only gripes with the place are possibly the food court..it's basically nothing..I think two eating options..can't really even call it a food court. Also it seems as tho these outlets might be on the brink of falling apart. They seem to be not that well taken care of..and they are a little outdated. This review is only about the outlet mall overall, not about any individual store. My two star review is solely based on the availability of restrooms. In their infinite wisdom, Tanger built at least two of the three men's restrooms I located with just one toilet. If you need to use a toilet vs. a urinal, you have to have the good fortune of finding an unoccupied restroom or being near the restroom with more than one toilet. I had the misfortune of having to find and get to three bathrooms before finally finding an unoccupied stall. This is a really unfortunate design choice and l think they should renovate the other bathrooms to have two toilets and one urinal, in my humble opinion. read more

Tanger Outlets got my credit card between Christmas 2017 and New Year's 2018. First off, the drive from Columbus is very do-able for an afternoon trip. Add to this there are many stores which are brand-name; NIKE, LL Bean, Coach, Williams Sonoma, American Eagle, Sunglass Hut, etc. Parking is huge although my wager would be on a weekend you'll be using the outer perimeter - popularity thing. There are also fast-foodies going in and going out (KFC, McDees, etc). My visit was only to LL BEAN for winter goods. Two days after Christmas and everything, EVERYTHING was 50% off as marked. Upon entry I was greeted by "Nick" and he said whatever I needed shout out. Nice touch right off the bat. I scouted 'round for long-sleeved thermal (landed two; one gray and one burnt orange; happy). I also found a nice pull-over half-zip front with ribbed collar (gray/black). Total was under $45. Go slap me, that's inexpensive. Happy 3X -- I would encourage anyone to give Tanger Outlets a try. Shopping for sales? This is your place! These outlets are confidently located off highway 71 in between Cincinnati and Columbus. They have multiple outlet name brand stores. Just a few to name are: Nike, Kate Spade, Pottery Barn and William Sonoma. They also have some great discount stores which include TJ Maxx and H&M. Great place to go when you are shopping for the whole family because you will come out spending way less than a typical mall. read more

I like the mall as a whole. I live Nike but flirting with a women's husband in front of her and their children is not appropriate. I think maybe I'm a little old school but the husband isn't always the bread WINNER. Sometimes it's the wife. And sometimes it's both. And you should treat all people the same. Thus is the second time the same associate has over stepped her boundries. The younger ladues and gents working the floor, the gard workers were great! A little nosey. But friendly. My all time favorite outlet shopping. So many varieties of stores to shop at and the prices are always reasonable.

On the drive back home, I was surprised to see this Tanger Outlet located off of a never-ending highway. With just a few minutes to spare, I had to look up to see if there was a Converse store (scoooore, and, indeed there was one!), so I stopped by. This place reminded me of the one out in Williamsburg, where the variety of the stores was just overwhelming - accessories, jewelry, footwear, houseware/home furnishings, apparel for men/women/children, and even a food court, the list was pretty impressive. While I did not have much time to visit some of the other shops, I was pretty excited with the selection that my favorite brand had to offer. There was plenty of parking, but the area is quite expansive. Signs for public restrooms are not visible, so it could be a while before you happen to pass one by. Went in April 2021. Evidently this place just got a new owner. Last time I was here was more than a decade ago. They have lost a few stores, but I was able to find a lot of deals. Was short on time, so even though I didn't get to all the stores I wanted, I found a lot of clothing for me in $10 shirts, $20 pants range. Some stores had dressing rooms closed or only one stall open, I was there on weekday but on a weekend one stall would back up so bad I can't imagine. This week I went to the outlet mall in Monroe, and the deals at Jeffersonvile Destinations Outlet were better. I will go back to Jeffersonville when I have more time to check out the rest of the stores. read more

Nothing exciting other than your run of the mill stores. Buyer beware: Most of the outlet stores have items that are made especially for the discount stores and may or may not be the same quality. I enjoy the Pottery barn and Nike outlets the best. The outlet mall will be heading to Columbus soon and my days of driving down here are limited until then. read more

DO NOT COME HERE ON WEEKENDS WHILE THE CONSTRUCTION IS STILL ON RT 435! (If you can, come during the week.). It was horrible to leave the parking lot. Even though Tanger had employees directing traffic in their parking lot, there were no police officers or sheriff deputies directing traffic on 435. It took us 45 minutes to get on 435 and then 35. It looked more congested towards 71. I gave Tanger 4 stars because the traffic jam is not their fault and I really purchased some bargains while shopping. I love coming here. I'll be back after the construction is complete. Thanks Tanger for having employees assist in directing cars. If not for a tip by one employee, the time to exit the outlet would have taken even longer. read more
