This use to be a great place to pick up a deal on something, but not anymore. The materials and construction on most items are nicer than one you get at most retailers and definitely big box, but the prices are just gouging at this point. Even if you're lucky enough for 70% off. I've spent thousands here over the years, but the last three trips in two months, walked out without anything -- and small purchases in the last few months. The dump bins at 70% right now are ridiculous. $200 for a drapery panel? Outlets are such a racket. No wonder they're dying. See photos of a raffia grass cloth box, marked to $229 with 70% off -- they're insane. This is in the messy, scratch & dent section. They apparently aren't in any hurry to move inventory anymore. Giving it one star because when we asked what was clearance and how we could tell the cashier said, "I know, you don't need to" ?? What a bizarre answer. Again asked, "but how do we tell." She said, " I enter a code and it tells me." It went it a similar circle with trying to ask in different ways... she got annoyed. We got annoyed. Didn't leave with a clear answer other than the cashier probably didn't care. I'm not sure why it's Russian roulette with buying something there... or is the gimmick that we should be pleasantly surprised if it rings up cheaper? The clearance section was a mess with a hodgepodge of stuff... some were clearly from other sections... so couldn't tell if the item was misplaced, a customer put it there when they changed their mind or if it was legitimately a clearance. Either way, ... what is wrong with their employee? read more

Granted everything is 50% off, but still very expensive for an"outlet" full of made in China merchandise. Probably going to be my last time here. I used to love coming here. These "markdowns" in photos were so disheartening. read more

The selection is hit or miss. I personally found a lot of the furniture unacceptably damaged, but if you're handy some issues could be fixed. if nothing else, PBO is worth a day trip/ excursion. Also check out West Elm's outlet on the other side of the mall. read more

What started as a one star experience, turned into a five star review! I found a great dining room table and wanted to display with the leaf permanently in place. I checked the table over thoroughly and even took pictures. I made sure the leaf fit and was the proper style as well. When the table was delivered, (which I paid the extra fee for), it had damage to the legs that was very noticeable. I called the store and they told me I could buy a furniture pen but would discount the table to compensate. I then put the leaf in and it was totally wrong, they must of mixed it up with another table delivery. I called again and after weeks of getting ignored and empty promises of call backs I finally got a response from Nathan. Not only did he follow up but he located another table in the same style and personally delivered it to my home an hour away! He took apart the original table and took it away, assembled the new table and even took the trash with him. What fantastic customer service! I'm admittedly a tough customer but his recovery of the situation saved our (PB) retail relationship . Thanks for going the extra mile, I love my new table read more

Good: - Lots of Pottery Barn and West Elm goods to choose from. Who would have known that Pottery Barn owns West Elm?! - Discount pricing ranges from OK to great. Found some nice velvet curtains and a really cool lamp shade for nothing more than I would have paid at Target. In fact their weirs were mostly less than Target pricing. - Staff there was super nice. Bad: - Don't come hear to look for anything matching. I was hopeful that I would find bar stools, but there didn't seem to be 4 matching and in good condition.....let alone 2. Ugly: - While the accessories pretty much all seemed to be in pristine condition, much of the furniture was there due to damage. In several cases, in my opinion, the items weren't salvageable. - Pricing on said damaged furniture items was still really high. Who wants to pay $500 for something that has a huge scratch in the top and a damaged leg?! Not me. - Sectionals missing a section. While the definition of a sectional is "a sofa made in sections that can be used separately as chairs." I just didn't expect them to be literally selling one section of a sectional. Weird. read more

I must clarify. I love Pottery Barn stuff. But I'm just not impressed with the outlet store location. I spent a good part of a half an hour here and didn't find anything that I would call a deal. In fact, I ran across more than one item that had a markdown of less than $5. That's not really a deal in my book. I've also been disappointed that they have taken out the Williams-Sonoma items. It used to be that half of the store was WS and the other side was PB. Then, the WS side shrunk to just one section. And now, on this last visit, it was gone. I walked around twice to make sure but didn't see a single thing. Meh. I still like looking at the stuff, I just don't ever think I'd be getting a good deal here. read more

This place is a great place for bargains. I am sure it is hit or miss depending on what your looking for. I purchased a $700 rug for $100 while I was there. They also had an additional 30% off all prices, which made the discounts that much better. It's relatively organized for how much stuff is in there. They have a huge selection! read more

This is a very nice store located at the Tanger Outlet Center located in Jeffersonville,OH. They have name brand furniture. The staff is always very nice and this is a pretty big store. The place is clean and the store is always well organized. read more

This Pottery Barn Outlet location is easy to get to from I-71 and has ample parking. You might expect an outlet store like this to be a complete mess, but I was pleasantly surprised by the organization and cleanliness of the place. The employees working were friendly, helpful, and not pushy. To me, it felt like the real value in this store is the small items. You'll save a few dollars on these items. The bigger furniture items are in the back. All the pieces I looked at had glaring deficiencies and even with the markdowns were way more than I would expect to pay for dinged up goods. With the savings on small items in mind, the costly gas you might consume to get here doesn't justify the trip. It's best to make this a stop on the way to somewhere else. read more

I have never come across a Pottery Barn outlet before and wish that I lived closer (and not travelling to OH on business) because I couldn't really buy anything. The store has tons on furniture. Some of it is in really bad shape and doesn't seem to be that great of a discount. However, there were alot of pieces that seemed to be in good condition and were about 40% off the retail price. The Pottery Barn Kids section is huge, although somewhat disorganized. It was dead the night I was in there and thought that it should have been more organized and tidy. The store is not well laid out overall...there is so much stuff in there, it is hard to get down the aisles. It definately takes some time to work your way around the store and see everything. I would agree with the other reviewer, having Williams-Sonoma would have been great, but the store was packed with other merchandise. read more

WOW! I just went to the Pottery Barn Outlet in Jeffersonville and it was AWESOME. I have not been here in awhile- but I was super excited to see that I can get the same quality product that is in the brand- but at Outlet Prices. It was very cool. I bought all the same Cheasapeake furniture pieces that I could of bought online (and saved all that shipping cost- bonus!) at 10 to 30% cheaper. It really totaled up. The same for bedding and bath. Same great towel- but at a savings. I boughts towels for my bathroom and the kids. Same great sheets- but at a discount. I found other big deals on furniture and product that looked like it may be over stocked or damaged- but the discounts were as high as 50%. I got a really nice dresser. My lucky day! read more

My experience at this PB was terrible. The store doubled the retail price of the table I wanted to buy, appeared to know nothing about their own product in the misleading information they kept giving me, and to top it off, did not give me an entire section of the table that was required to put it together. The details are that two weeks ago I decided to purchase a Tivoli extending dining table, on sale online right now for $699. They only had the fixed version of the table, available for $499 at any regular Pottery Barn store. The saleswoman said a table would arrive within the next week and she would put me on a list and call me when it came in. I called almost a week later and not only did the woman who answered refuse to check, but I never received a call back from the original salesperson. I go to the store to pick up the fixed table, the $499 one. There is a $699 sticker on the base of the table. I explain to two separate employees that the fixed version is $499, to which I get told "No, the Tivoli is the most expensive table we have." It is not...it's the cheapest. They insist the table is $699. 20 minutes of explaining and re-explaining later, the 3rd employee that I explain this to finally looks up the price, and it is, in fact, $499. However, he says it is $499 for the base and an additional $499 for the top, making this table $998, double the price at a regular Pottery Barn store. I call Pottery Barn customer service from my cell phone because apparently no one in this store is going to help me, and confirm the table is $499, all peices included. After the outlet forgets to take off the 15% discount they're offering for Black Friday, I drive all the way home and discover there is a middle board that connects the top and base that are missing. My table is not usable until I drive back to the outlet store, find another version of the assembled table (which they have now added a ridiculous and perhaps fraudulent $950 price tag to) and point out my missing piece. I finally have a beautiful table, but wish I had just ordered it online. With the gas spent, I ended up paying more for the table at this stupid and incompetent outlet store. I will never return. read more

Absolutely live this place! Can find most items in good condition. Of course there are some damaged items at a furniture outlet. I have purchased several items. 2 West Elm chairs each 150 regular 300, mirror that was scratched on frame but very minor. Regular 499 and purchased for less than 150. If you catch a sale day, it is REALLY worth it. read more
