Super nice server and the empanadas were fabulous. Husband and I especially liked the short rib and cheese.

It feels like a warm hug from your grandma when you're eating these, so I can understand why they are Buelas empanadas! My favorite are the ground meat ones and the buffalo chicken ones but honestly all of their flavors have been amazing! Their customer service has been impeccable each time I've ordered, and you feel good about supporting this business due to how great they treat you! These have become my go to for any potluck or get together, as they are a party favorite each time I've brought them! Please give them a try, you won't be disappointed! Ps: I wished they bottled their sauces because I'd slather everything in them! Haha

Been waiting for them to sell these again. I've also had the beef and buffalo which were delicious as well. They also include sauces but I can go without them because of all the flavor packed in one empanada!! YUM. They gave me the option to buy a pack frozen or freshly made (pre orders). I've had both options and loved the frozen option because I can just pop them in the air fryer or on a pan and whenever I'm craving some of their empanadas! Highly recommend getting trying their empanadas. Definitely will be a crowd pleaser at parties :)

Apparently the calamari was dusted with sesame seeds, and I didn't think to disclose this at Peruvian... but this is where the waiter checked on me and was wonderful as I was going through this. I bought a pack of carne empanadas and enjoyed those later at home. I'll definitely be back, just no calamari next time!

The space is small and intimate and I think it would be a nice place for a casual date! We were seated quickly and the server was really great throughout the whole meal and very knowledgeable about the food. I appreciated that he let us know about the specials without us needing to ask. We started off with some drinks. I got a red wine sangria and it was good but I did find it to taste a bit watered down but it wasn't a huge deal! We also got a carne empanada and the flavor was to die for. The beef and onion was so delicious and savory. It was juicy inside but the outside was crispy and dry not soggy at all. The portion size was fairly large as well. We also got the yuca frites. They were good. Crispy but still nice and starchy and filling. Not my favorite dish but only because of personal preference and not because they didn't do it well! Lastly we ended with the pork shank special they had for the night. It was absolutely amazing. The meat just fell off the bone and was so tender. I loved how the mushroom and spinach came with the pork. All of the different parts of the fish came together really well to made it exceptional. It was a hearty and comforting meal and I wish it were on their regular menu! I'm excited to come here again in the future to try more dishes.

I've had everything from their saltado dishes, empanadas of various kinds, an assortment of their pastries, and ready to go drinks. Everything has been good for the most part. Tho when I'm craving a dessert stop here I favor the guava pastry and the alfajores, & you have to special order the cheese Pastry/bread. I'm a huge fan of "pudim" that's how you say flan in Portuguese! Yet the flan is not my favorite here since the sugar caramelization it's usually cooked too much, causing a burnt flavor, and the consistency is too aerated rather than having a creamy and smooth consistency. I've tried it a few times and that seems to be their consistent style. We get cravings for this place and like that we're mainly serviced by the nice owners of this restaurant. The restaurant is decorated in their native culture in mind. I love that! If you're craving a good empanada or a sweet tooth treat come and give them a try!

We came by on Labor Day and it wasn't too busy whe. We first arrived, which we were happy about. To start off we were all VERY happy about the empanadas, user crispy, great balance to meat and potato on the inside. The buñuelos could have been better, they were hot but it didn't give freshly made..more like reheated. I ordered a coffee in the beginning to have as a pick me up before my food and didn't get it til right before we all left. Now when it comes to the main meal I ordered the bandeja paisa and so did most of us. My mom first thing noticed it didnt have the the small arepa, which none of our plates had it. My food was missing the avocado and the fried egg..I had to request it. None of the finished plates were cleared throughout our time there and it seemed like it was only 2 people working because the same guy taking our order was the same guy bringing our food and assisting everyone else who came in. Seems to me a few things could be worked on. I plan on returning because the inside was super cute and just hoping to have a better experience next time around.
