A good 5 starts well deserved! It's unfortunate to see previous reviews but I can start by saying that this place has new owners and the girls at the front desk are the sweetest southern women in Texas! (Judy, Robin and Betty) We stayed for 4 months and we're on the waiting list for about a month. But we knew this was the location we wanted to stay at so we waited. This place is safe, the neighbors were very welcoming and we had no issues during our stay. In fact we had a family emergency and trusted the people here so much that we gave the front desk keys to our place just in case there was an emergency when we were gone. The front desk gals are amazing like stated above, the maintenance guys are fast and attentive (also will be the first people to greet you) and Chris takes so much pride in maintaining the parks garden. We had a premium spot (43 foot trailer and 2 vehicles, with two dogs) we didn't have grass on our spot but that was ok! There is 2 VERY large areas to walk your dogs in. & If we wanted to move to a different spot we could have but we really enjoyed our neighbors so we didn't move. There is grass all around the park in addition to the large area and lots of poo stations set up conveniently around. Also really appreciated the propane refill on sight. Not to many places open on the weekend for a refill... That being said, we highly recommend this park! Everyone was very respectable and enjoyable. read more

Let me just say the two women in the office are completely to old to behave without any manners. There's absolutely no reason for them to be complete bitches to anyone who pulls in. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME the spots are so small your slide outs touch the neighbors. If you can get past the ignorance in the office and like hearing your neighbors conversations THIS IS YOUR PLACE. If your idea of relaxing is barely squeezing your fifth wheel into a one car driveway space Park then this is your place. I like elbow room and when you can't let your slides out because he will be touching the neighbors well that's not comfort to me. The front entrance is right off the interstate which is a big plus and you have plenty of room to pull in the driveway. If you are looking for relaxing I don't see it happening that close to a neighbor. Not my cup of tea. read more

I recently purchased a fifth-wheel toy-hauler to use as my permanent residence. Upon doing so, I placed my name, Todd Maxwell, on a waiting list at 2 RV resorts not too far from Dallas. One of the parks I chose was Destiny RV resort. From the first time I visited, something seemed off. Linda is the first person I met representing that resort. Each time I've visited the resort to check for availability, she has been rude and looked down her nose at me. I'm a pleasant and polite person and just figured maybe she was having an off day. Then I got to thinking, why each visit? I've come to find out, her attitude and behavior towards me, is simply because I'm a gay man. Wow. See folks, discrimination comes in all forms. Oh well, their loss!! I wonder who else Linda discriminates against. I guess if you're a homophobic individual, this is the place for you. I would not recommend staying there, even for a short stay. What kind of customer service do you think would be provided should you need anything? read more

Today I was trying to find out if I could make a reservation for a friend who is new to the DFW area. The woman who answered the phone was abrupt, rude and I was told " we do not take those kind of vehicles here long term!" She didn't even understand what kind of vehicle it is. It is a 2016 Dynamax which the MRSP is just over $100,000. What kind of vehicles DO THEY TAKE!?!?! At any rate, I asked for a corporate contact so I could make sure someone would explain it to me and she HUNG UP. So much for customer service. I am surprised this is a Good Sam's member. Good Sam's must have lowered their membership expectations. read more

This place is awesome. Clean and all the amenities. Pool hot tub, laundry, rec room, etc.

We needed an overnight at the last minute on a holiday weekend and they were very accommodating. We did not spend a great deal of time there, but our stuff was safe while we attended the Rangers game. The showers were very clean and the bathrooms well maintained. Lots of trees and many were enjoying the pool area when we pulled in. I would stay again if in the area. The only down side was that all the construction on the interstate made it very hard to find. read more

We made reservations to stay three nights at Destiny Dallas Rv Resort which is actually in Denton, Texas. After viewing the space reserved for us we could not stay it wasn't large enough to even put out slide outs and the area was full of rv's that had been there for years the area was full of men standing outside drinking. It looked like an old trailer park just plain scary neighborhood. There were spaces in the front for motor homes but they stuck us in this horrible area. They charged us a fee to cancel and we had to find another place at the last minute. I would never stay at this place. I wouldn't even give it one star. read more

This is a snowbirds paradise. Large park with over 170 sites. Easy access into the park, some of turns inside the park are a little tight. Check in was fast and friendly. They have a small store with basic needs, a rec room and a pool. There is also a carwash on site with an RV stall with platforms on both sides, took advantage and cleaned the RV top to bottom. The park is well maintained. You are right off of I-35 so there was a lot of traffic noise and at times we were in the flight path for the airport. Most sites are very narrow but we were in Site 10, a long gravel pull through with shade trees. We had full hookups with 50amp and no issues with any of them. The site is a Buddy site but very wide and with trees so not right on top of each other. It was plenty long enough for our 37-foot Class A, tow-dolly and parking the car. Laundry room and bathrooms were very clean. WiFi was just okay and our Verizon signal was good. There are big open fields for dog walking. We stayed March 1-5, 2018 and paid $41.00 with our Good Sam discount. read more

this is a great park. nice big lots. many trees, nice pool and playground. onsite car and trailer wash. Truck wash if only 13 feet tall. Our 5th is 13.5, so that was disappointing. This is a very nice short or long term park. We stayed for two weeks in a premium lot. Long enough for our 40ft 5th and truck and our mini van. Clean showers and laundry. Quiet place yet close to town. I would stay here again. Highly recommended. read more
