However, the dog park is constantly full off waste and despite there being waste bags, and can for dog piles as well as a giant sign on the gate that says you need to clean up after your dog, not to mention when you check in, the staff tells you you need to pick up after your pet and it's listed in the rules and newsletter dog owners have exactly zero respect for the rules. It appeared to be residents with large and multiple medium to large dogs leaving piles in the dog park as well as the walking trails. Dogs can get parvo virus, hookworms, and other diseases from irresponsible pet owners. So if you don't have a dog I would recommend a stay as it's in a nice area and easily accessible to many activities but if you have a dog, watch out for the abundance of dog waste.

There isn't any water in the fitness center so you have to leave to go to the office to get some or the bathrooms. Traffic in the area is a mess so plan on sitting on the 2 lanes roads for a minute. Internet connection is always struggling. The showers are beautiful but while the looks were focused on, the plumbing was not. The toilets typically sound like they are running. When I arrived, the cleaning was a bit questionable but about a third of the way through, they became exponentially better.

However, when we pulled into the park, we were met with a much different view. A gravel lot situated between several mobile homes is where RV's were parked. No trees, no grass, and no lake access. Besides several run down mobile homes, there was a run down building, presumably the office and laundry facilities. We did not stay here, nor have a reservation. We drove through to check it out because we were looking for a place to stay in our 5th wheel for several months. I definitely would not have felt safe or happy to stay there.

I'm renting the space monthly so all utilities are paid for one price, and it's reasonable. The previous owner was great, and working very hard to make this park better, but the current owner is just interested in money. Don't pay any attention to the pool picture, there is no pool. Wi-Fi is great sometimes, and doesn't even work others. There is a laundry facility available, which is free, but full of old machines. My spot is fairly level, so it wasn't difficult to get set up. There are a lot of things that aren't complete and I doubt any real improvements will ever be made. Overall I give this place 2 stars mainly because it still looks terrible even after being here for over a year, and I can't really spend any time outside because of either barking dogs or because there's no real patio here. Whoever set this place up originally did not know what they were doing when it comes to locating sewer, water and electrical points. Bottom line this place is just a dive. I have spent time in over 300 RV parks, and this one is way down at the bottom of my list of desirable places. If you're staying for just A little while like overnight or something this place isn't that bad but if you want to stay here long term I'd find somewhere else, and there are a lot of other places in this area that are better than this one.
