Garage Detail in Arlington is amazing!

Chris and the team at detail garage are amazing! What stands out the most is how knowledgeable everyone was of all the products. I've always been a big fan of chemical guys but to find a store that has everything under one roof is unheard of until now. Love the products but more importantly, love the knowledgeable staff. See you guys again soon!

She helped me to find a car that I was really going to be happy with. Roger in finance was equally great and made sure everything went smoothly. I felt taken care of from start to finish. I recently took my 2019 Nissan Rogue to Don Davis Nissan in Arlington, TX, for what I thought would…read morebe a simple oil change and tire rotation. Was I wrong. They've apparently shifted to these "maintenance packages" only, and gone are the days of a la carte services. I was pushed into their Basic 30,000 Mile Interval Service Package for a whopping $499.95, even though my car is at around 59,000 miles and I've been handling a lot of this stuff myself. It felt like I had no choice if I wanted anything done at all. Let's break down why this was such a rip-off. The package includes things like replacing the key fob battery at $12.00 - seriously? I can buy a pack of two Duracell CR2032 batteries online or at any store for under $5 and swap them myself in seconds. Then there's the cabin air filter at $47.45; aftermarket options are available for $15-25, and even OEM parts online go for around $20-30. The engine air filter was $29.95, which is still marked up compared to $20-ish elsewhere. I already changed both filters and the fob batteries recently, so why am I paying for duplicates? The brake fluid flush was another unnecessary add-on in this bundle. I had my brake pads replaced back in 2024, which included a flush then - no need to do it again so soon, but it's baked into the package. And what even is this "Vehicle Protection Service" tacked on? From what I can tell, it's some vague multi-point inspection or extended protection plan (like Nissan's Security+Plus), but it feels more like protection money to the mob - pay up or your car doesn't get serviced. Their brochure lists it, but it's not clear what real value it adds beyond basic checks I could do myself. Yes, I know that I could have went to a oil change business. Pain Points: - Key fob battery: $12 (I can buy two Duracells for $5 and replace myself). - Cabin air filter: $47.45 (available online/OEM for $20-30). - Engine air filter: $29.95 (marked up from $20 elsewhere).

I'm sharing my experience so other customers can make informed decisions…read more I brought my 2019 Mercedes-Benz AMG C63 Convertible to Park Place Mercedes-Benz Arlington because the convertible-top trunk would stop about 1-2 inches short of fully closing. After keeping my car for over five business days, I was initially quoted $3,400 based on their diagnosis that the inner liner needed to be repaired. After three additional days, I received a call stating they had misquoted me and left a part off the estimate, which raised the repair cost to over $6,000. I was then told the service representative was able to "work something out" and reduce the total to $5,000 to repair the inner liner. Their written assessment did not mention any bent hinge or structural damage. When I picked up the vehicle, it immediately had new issues that were not present before service, including a popping noise and visible misalignment of the convertible-top trunk. When I returned the car, they kept it for another four business days. I was then told by the service advisor that the convertible-top hinge was bent and that the entire top needed to be replaced for over $15,000. I refused to pay this amount and informed them that this was not a pre-existing condition and was not identified in their original diagnosis. The service advisor stated that the service manager and the mechanical manager had also looked at the vehicle and confirmed the hinge was bent, and that they would not correct the issue. Because this conflicted with the original diagnosis, I wanted to seek a professional opinion from a third party to understand how the hinge could have gotten bent. I took the vehicle to Mercedes-Benz of Plano. Their technicians inspected the vehicle and found no bent hinge at all. They identified loose screws in the convertible-top assembly -- "loose enough you could move them with your fingers," according to both the service representative and the technician at Mercedes-Benz of Plano. After tightening the screws, the convertible top operated normally. No parts were replaced. The total cost was $215. This second Mercedes dealership's findings directly contradicted Park Place Arlington's recommendation for a $15,000 repair. I encourage anyone facing major repair estimates to seek a second opinion -- especially when a dealership quotes you an amount that you agree to pay, then adds additional fees after you are already committed, and then refuses to take responsibility for a post-service issue they claim exists but that never actually did.

Disappointed by Unresolved Repairs and High Diagnostic Fees:…read more I bought my car from here just over a year ago and had a fantastic experience. Ufortunately, my last repair experience has left me frustrated and out over $1,000--with the same problem still unresolved. I brought my car in for engine misfires in April. They replaced the spark plugs and coils for cylinders 1 and 2. Less than a month later, the misfires were back--including cylinder 1--and now affecting additional cylinders. Instead of investigating further or revisiting the previous repair, I was quoted $1,035 just to run a compression test. I was still charged $260 to run the test to tell me I needed the next test. Each time, it showed that Cylinder 1 was the issue. This feels like I'm being charged again to diagnose an issue that should have been fixed in the first place. I took it 2 other places to confirm my suspicion and for a fraction of the cost, it was confirmed that the original coil replacement simply wasn't tightened all the way!! I expected more from a luxury dealership--clear diagnostics, better communication, and accountability for work that didn't resolve the problem. If I'm paying dealership-level prices, I expect dealership-level expertise, not trial-and-error part replacements followed by another big bill. Still hopeful they'll do the right thing and make this right, but as of now, I can't recommend their service.
