May 24, 2025 went in first thing in the morning to pick up some car washing de detailing supplies notice it didn't say chemical Guys outside on the wall any longer. It is now detailed garage, very hesitant, but I went in and they still were selling chemical guy products. I was provided with excellent customer service very knowledgeable of the product products which is always helpful, but I've been using chemical guys for almost 3 years now and I have finally got it to the point that I buy exactly what I need every time I wish they had clay bar sponges not just a regular clay.bars. I stepped my game up with the Clay b sponges and it's a lot more convenient, and easier to use yes specially if you drop it, you can just rinse it off, and keep playing the car . I am a hard-core chemical guy customer I buy the honeydew shampoo for my white Audi and Kia Sorrento hybrid color cityscape green. Excellent supplies excellent customer service. I just wish there was one closer in the Whittier California area. They close the one in La Habra. Not sure why it always seemed busy, but most of the locations now are independently own and now called detail garage that happened to sell chemical guy products and other brands of auto detailing supplies. Hopefully, they'll start selling 360 products soon. I highly recommend this location. I noticed they have all the cleaners, sponges, chemicals, wax, spray, buckets, everything to polish and clean the cars. I've never seen all the detailing supplies for the cars. I've visited this location and the El Monte location many times. I have 10 vehicles i care for and really needed to stock up. I pulled up 4:38 PM. Just in time to see the front door being locked. The employee looked at me and continued to lock the door. I drove away and was going to leave things alone, but I did just drive 30 minutes for nothing. I called and got a quick answer. I asked what time they closed and the employee said usually at 5, but today at 4:50. He went on to explain that he was busy all day working by himself with no breaks so he was closing early. Hr asked if I was on the road there and I said No, I was the one sitting out front when you locked up. He let me know that the customer always comes first and he would have opened back up if I asked. He didn't have an answer when I asked "Should I have to ask?" He went on to explain that he would open at 9:50 for me tomorrow... I told him I would be taking my money elsewhere and hung up. Located off La Palma and Knott in Buena Park in the shopping plaza. They mainly sell all the products of Chemical Guys you can see YouTube videos on their products. You don't realize how many different products to use to fully detail a car. This place has them all. The staff is friendly and helpful and if you like they will even demo it for you. Prices are not outrageous and are reasonable. If you want to full detail your car on your own and save the cost of going somewhere you can pick up all you need here. Just actually left this particular detail Garage store to buy the 64 oz container of extreme body wash +wax shelve price was 29.99 five dollars more than Amazon but at least I get it in that same moment which I didn't mind. I go to cashier and lady in the counter tells me it's going to be 49 dollars for purchase. So I tell her I think it's actually 30 and she goes back to shelve and says we'll actually prices just went up but price tag in fact said 29.99 and she quickly removes it trying to get rid of label so I check real quick on Amazon and I'm fact it's actually 24.99 on Amazon so I tell her well I can get it here right now if you give me the price it had in she shelve or I can buy it on Amazon for way cheaper and it actually counts as a same day delivery. So she replied back with I can't change prices with an attitude so I tell her Can you call your manager which she does, so while she's talking to her manager I overhear that prices went up and tells me it's gonna be 35 so while she did all that I made my purchase on Amazon and paid 35 for the 64 oz bottle and some invivible cleaner and it's getting dropped off before 5 pm. This place is a gem!! I just started to have an interest in auto detailing after I got a new car and I got obsessed with Chemical Guys products. I started reading articles about detailing and watching how-to videos. I like their branding especially how they put their products in categories (e.g gloss enhancers, UV protection, sealants, optical brighteners, foaming agents, waxes etc). It was Vincent (who happened to be an instructor) who explained to me different detailing products and gave me tips to cleaning my car. He was knowledgeable and explained things that make sense. I am amazed by Vince's knowledge and ability! He answered all of my questions and made a small appointment to restore my carbon fiber gurney. He used V36 and a 4 inch orange hexpad to remove my acid rain spots on it. Not only did he help me, we had a nice conversation as well. This place is a one-stop shop for all detailing supplies. They have microfiber towels, soaps, waxes, clay bars, and air fresheners. Foam cannons and polishing machines are there too! My favorite products are the V07 Hybrid Wax and Blacklight, which are necessities for a black car. Let me start by saying I have little to no issue with chemical guys products. My rating is solely based on how employees at this location chose to conduct themselves. Visited the location earlier this week for a product. Bought what they advised, followed their directions perfectly, the results were exactly what I described I was trying to AVOID when buying the product. So I went back to the store, calm as can be, and just asked for a simple exchange if they suggest I try something else. Instead I was met with the current employee telling me the other employee told me incorrect info and since I used the product there would be no return or exchange. This weekend I went off roading in my 2021 Toyota Tacoma TRD Off Road and got a few unfortunate scratches from bushes on my passenger side. My sisters boyfriend recommended this place because it was close by and knew they had great products to try buffing out the scratches. I walked in and was immediately greeted by Natalie (the manager), her husband and another employee and was helped in less than a minute from arriving. They offered to buff my scratches for me and didn't stop until they did all they could do which was the majority of the scratches. I am so thankful, my truck looks amazing! My wife purchased a gallon of soap for me from this location. When she got home I inspected the soap and realized that the soap was open and the seal was broken. So we called the location and she drove all the way from long beach to exchange it. The guy that helped my wife was rude and refused to exchange the soap even after we had called. Finally he filled the product up a bit, however the issue was the integrity of the product and the fact that we wanted a fresh one. Im extremely disappointed and dissatisfied with the service we experienced. In the past year this location has earned close to 1000 dollars of my business. I loved coming to this location, after the way my wife was treated and their inability to accept their responsibility over a 30 dollar product I will no longer shop here.
