I had a very disappointing experience at this AutoZone location on Sunday, August 9 at around 10:45 AM. I have been a customer at this location even though there is another AutoZone much closer to my home, because I normally prefer coming here. I came in because my check engine light was on and asked the employee if he could help me check the code. He told me he could give me the scanner and I could do it myself. I explained that I did not know how to use it and politely asked if he could help me, but he simply said no. What bothered me even more was his attitude from the moment I walked in. He was eating when I entered. I said, "Good morning, how are you?" and he did not respond. He continued eating, wiped his mouth, and seemed annoyed that I had come into the store. I understand that employees may not always be able to perform every service for customers, but basic courtesy and respectful customer service should be expected. I drove farther specifically because I liked this location, so this experience was especially disappointing. read more

If anyone is reading this please save yourself the headache and go to one of the other auto zones 10min from this one. The only thing this place is good for is testing your patience. On two separate occasions they gave us the wrong parts after telling them the make and model of our vehicle. And when we wanted to return/ exchange to get the correct ones they acted as if we asked them to give us their first born child. I have never seen people who choose to be so unhelpful and lazy. read more

Dear [Manager/Customer Service], Yesterday, I was told by your staff to purchase two parts since they were unsure which one would work, and that I could return the unused part the next day. I followed their instructions, but when I came back this morning, I was told that returns are not accepted and that I could not get my money back. Amelia Hernandez was horrible I bought a 2015 dodge grand caravan window regulator and motor and the motor was wrong so I used the regulator and the old motor and was gonna swap out the motor the next day and she said I needed to take both parts off to get the right motor considering the regulator is the same it's the motor that's different I said I'm not going to take the part off I just want the right motor she said no.. read more

I came here because my engine light came on and wanted to get a diagnosis. I first went to the one on Beach and Lincoln and the guy who did the reading was not helpful. He mumbled a lot and I could barely hear him speak. He printed out the reading on my car but wasn't helpful when it came to the diagnosis and what I should do next. However at this Cypress location, the manager I spoke to was very helpful. I forgot his name unfortunately. But he did the reading on my car and showed me on the computer what was wrong, what parts I needed and what to do next and recommended a mechanic. I will definitely use this location from now on. read more

I wanted to get into the Zone on New Years Day to start off 2025 on the right track to get my car signal bulb, but unfortunately the people working there were to busy chattering (3 guys and 1 girl) about their personal life instead of helping customers. I did not find the part I needed on my own, and with no help, I left and headed off to the Walmert parts store near by I bought my part here instead and also ran into another customer who was also at the same Autozone and left before I did. I want to support our small businesses, but The Zone failed me.... To much employee chattering and not enough working... Will not go back... I will take my money to Walmart Parts of all places..haha! read more

If I could give a zero star I would, my husband came here for a quick product. After surviving a long line of only a few workers. He was helped by maybe the store manager while another worker Rickie was loudly discussing inappropriate topics with a customer. When my husband express his feelings with the manager she said it's his opinions and gave no interest in stopping the employee. He spoke of Hitler and his knowing what good looking people looked like. Also making sexist comments about women and politics. We will be going to o'reilys from now on. read more

Not sure what happened to the customer service with this corporation. I'm going to start my review by saying it's a typical Monday not too much going on, sales are probably down so I understand if people are salty, but to not say two words to me, especially when I'm recycling all the oil that I purchased at this very store is a bit disrespectful. I walk in and the lady was very rude. I mentioned she's rude because typically you would see someone who is not experienced treating a regular this way. Today was about recycling so not such a thrilling experience, but to not accept plastic bottles that I purchased at this very location is a bit obscure and as a taxpayer I demand you do better. I mentioned not big on sales because of tonight being Monday and Monday night football so I understand why people are salty. I don't really need a response or if you read this, you can make a decision on your own about shopping here, but I would definitely think twice. My thoughts were very pure and geared towards helping the environment. I was not intending to write a review but enough's enough. I ended up dumping the oil into the big bin and leaving the plastic containers because I added to the big old mess. The person who runs the store should be fired because of the example they leave at the back door. New shipment are coming in old oil everywhere for a moment, I was gonna take my containers back, but it's a drop in the bucket if you think about it AutoZone, you definitely need better management.
