It's autozone, you know what you're getting yourself into. If you're going here you're probably not super excited knowing you're going to have to work on your car. And if you're anything like my girlfriend, you hate any time your car acts up or throws up a light on the dash. But that's where autozone comes in handy. They are close, there's a ton of them, the ship to other stores or tho your house. When you go in the people are decently knowledgeable but if they are unfamiliar with the subject there computer system works well. About 2 months ago my check engine light came on and stopped by to use their code reader. They let me use it free of charge. Come to find out that my downstream 02 sensor needed to be changed. A week later, my upstream 02 sensor went out and I was able to get them replaced. I can really appreciate the use of their code reader as it really helps you narrow down what is wrong with your car. If you tried this with a dealer, you'd get charged up the wazoo just for this service- as well as a long wait. read more

My husband went into this auto zone to buy a battery and needed help installing the battery. When he asked if someone can help him they denied help. I understand this a courtesy they do but they also promote this on their website that can change batteries. We are just really frustrated, imagined it had been a lady that went in and knew nothing about batteries or replacement, the staff here won't help. Came in here because my front head lights were flickering every so often so I thought it was time to get a new light bulb. It was night time when I came in just around closing, but there were still a decent amount of people in the store. I explained my situation to the employee who quickly looked up the make and model of my car and identified which light bulb would fit. After he found it, I quickly paid for it and was out of the store all within 5 minutes. I am not a car person, so I wasnt sure exactly how to change the light bulb, but the man offered to change it for me, all I had to do was pop the hood. Within 2-3 minutes, he switched out the old one and replaced it with the new one. I tested it a few times and let it run for a few minutes just to make sure it was fine. All in all, I was there for only 10-15 minutes and my problem was solved! Overall it was a great experience with great service and will definitely be going back for future smaller needs. read more

I work across the street and I had an emergency this morning when my car died on Lincoln Ave. Long story short, it ended up being low on gas even though the gauge wasn't on empty. Luckily I had enough momentum to roll into a parking spot at this Autozone. I explained my situation to the cashier and, while I wasn't expecting any help, I also wasn't expecting him to threaten towing my car if I didn't get it out of the parking lot by noon. Apparently I was in one of his "prime parking spots". I even offered to push my car to a different spot across the lot since at this point I was late for work, but to no avail. He jumped up to help when I wanted to buy one of their overpriced gas cans though. Will definitely be shopping elsewhere in the future. read more

I have always heard it is the service after the sale counts the most. I think the manager of this location fully understand that and so does their employees. I had a battery that had died. I brought it in they tested it and found it was within warranty and cheerfully replaced it. Not once did they try to wiggle out of honoring the warranty. They didn't say do you drive this car on Sundays and transport Fish, do you use this car as a taxi by transporting kids to soccer games or any other silly type questions looking for a way to void a warranty. During the entire transaction the employees were extremely professional and courteous. I saw them handling other customers exactly the same way. This is probably the best AutoZone or parts store I have been in. They truly get it that the employees make the difference. Great Job. read more

Again the manager was very rude if you are going to ask for help do not go to Fidel (Bald Man in case he doesn't have name tag) go to another person or another AUTO-PARTS Store. Wow. The manager there Fidel was very rude. Not willing to help in any way and will not go out of his way. Bought an ECU which was suggested by the computer they lend you. Took the car to the mechanic and the mechanic said that part was not the issue. Hoping we could return it he said that the part was installed by looking at it which in reality there were already scuff marks on the product. He didn't want to take the part back which was OK. But he was very argumentative and have a power trip for some odd reason. Imagine this is your manager and his staff is supposed to look up to him. Leadership at this store is poor and hopefully, they don't feed off this person. Not only he was rude at the store but my brother called and he was also rude to him over the phone.
