The Good I was able to call George and schedule an appointment on very short notice. I ended up having to reschedule on very short notice and he, once again, accommodated our timings with no problem. Easy to talk to and was available for follow up without difficulty. Available via text, phone and email which is a plus. The Better The day of the inspection, being a first time homebuyer and having to go thru the inspection without my husband made me a little nervous. However, George made the 3 hour experience so easy! He started off by laying out his game plan - what he wanted to look for, what order he was going to go over the home, and emphasized that I be there for every step, to ask any questions that came to mind, and assured me he'd be available for follow up if I had remembered anything afterwards. The Best He is thorough. Very thorough. He got into the tightest of spaces and took his time. I went over initial questions and concerns prior to us starting, he addressed the concerns as we went thru the inspection, and took the time to make sure we answered all the questions I came with at the end of the inspection. He not only provided his recommendations on repairs, but made sure to point out other aspects of normal home maintenance as we walked thru the home. He provided his report the next afternoon. Again, very thorough and detailed report. Granted this line of business requires detail, but his attention to detail translated from action to writing which provided a nice seamless experience for my husband and I. After we went over his report, my husband and I had follow up questions we wanted to ask. Texted him to set up a call and were speaking to him 15 mins later. He took his time answering our questions and made sure we understood everything before moving to the next point. OK, not great. On the plus side, inspector was on time, setup appointment with short notice, and came out on a Saturday morning before a holiday (4th of July weekend)...definitely gets points for that. Also, received the report the same day...this is great. On the minus side, inspection felt rushed and was not as thorough as I would have expected. Missed some pretty obvious items like misdiagnosing genuine hardwood flooring as much cheaper laminate (later verified by simply lifting floor vent to see full hardwood side), and missing a completely off track and bent lift system for the garage door. Also, the report received was not very detailed. My personal notes from our discussion during the inspection were much more helpful...I would expect the inspectors notes to have covered those valuable insights. Overall the experience left me wanting, especially considering it came with a premium price...I expected a premium inspection... read more

Used this guy twice in a row. Wished he would cut me a deal or something. Too bad for me, he didn't, but I would suggest to be a bit nicer to people. So, the two reports I received were very detailed. He looked through and at everything. He checked the floors, the walls, the ceiling, and climbed into the attic and onto the roof. He gave us his professional opinion, and ideas on how to fix things. He was on time, very pleasant and very professional. George answered all our questions, and never showed whether he was/wan't annoyed with us when we followed him everywhere.
