It was a 1997 outboard and the guys (Dan & Heath) figured out the problems and got me back on the water. Well age finally caught up with my motor and parts are becoming almost impossible to find and after a long conversation with Dan it was decided to replace the outboard with a new one. Dan found a new 50hp Mercury and him and Heath replaced my old outboard with the new one. After the new motor arrived at the shop, they had me out the door and ready to hit the water in 2 days. Once on the water the new outboard performed as expected and the service and professionalism that the entire staff from Performance Unlimited showed from the owner to the office staff to the technicians was above and beyond. I will keep using this company for my marine needs and I will highly recommend them 100%. Great service and pricing.

A year and a half later he sent us a $7,100 bill and when we got our boat back it had a damaged engine. He said that he would stand behind the $7,100 work if the boat didn't run, which it didn't. He came and picked up the boat and 1 month later he said it was winterized and fixed. However, when we went to pick it up the second time it was in pieces all over his business. The engine was damaged while in his possession and we were given unauthorized charges. We had to pay another professional $9,000 to fix the engine damage that Jim had done while the boat was in his possession doing a test drive. We paid Jim, but left with our boat not put back together or running.

I asked the service person "what loose parts are we talking about.." he responded with "well maybe not loose but bad parts due to age, so this needs to be done before a alignment." At which he handed me a bill for 1200 dollars... I responded with "Um those are all brand new parts & I personally ordered all the parts to do the service. Plus with the older parts all sitting in boxes in the back trunk, so can't believe they weren't changed out or even old." The service writer then saids " Well here's your keys then." as he placed them in my hand. After leaving the building walking to my vehicle, I noticed greasy hand prints on the outside of the drive door.... beyond that I opened the drive door to not only see greasy hand prints on the door card, center console & steering wheel. Beyond sad to say I gave this new business a chance, but not only wrote up a crazy bill to not due the work that was scheduled previously before the holiday weekend. They also had no care as to the mess they left on or in my freshly detailed car. I will not be going back at any point & will be sending people to another shop if asked for recommendation.

I informed them that I worked at a Napa store, and would purchase my own parts and have the work done by a local mechanic, but would bring it back for the alignment. They told me that I would not get my $30 back if I didn't have them do the work. So, I took my car to one of the local mechanics, working at a Napa store, we know all of the mechanics in the area, and after inspection, he informed me that there was nothing wrong with my control arms, or even the bushing, which is usually what goes bad on the control arms. These people just saw a woman by herself, and wanted to upsell me for a very expensive job that I didn't need. Charged me $30, and didn't do what I asked them to do. I will never recommend these people, especially if you are a woman coming in alone!!

Had an appointment for Dec 19th for new tire install and lube for my classic 89 Trans Am. The tire supplier I used sent the wrong tires to the shop which created a delay. That's when Chris jumped into action to get me replacement tires asap since no one in town had what we needed. After new tires installed promptly and lube work completed we attempted to drive off only to have the classic die out in the street. Chris and his staff jumped into action to push the car out of the street and back into the shop. Within 5 minutes diagnosed that the fuel pump relay is bad and was able to get new replacement parts and have us on the road quickly. So not only did they come thru once.... but twice they went above and beyond to Get the old classic on the road. Highly recommend the great friendly staff and very knowledgeable talent to work on your newer car or classic like mine.
