However, the corporate office that handles "guest services" has not followed through on issuing us a refund as promised. On February 8, 2025, I took my vehicle to the Auburn location for new rear brake pads. I didn't get my vehicle back until February 21st!!!! The techs somehow locked up my parking brake and couldn't get it to release. Their solution was to have us have the car towed to a dealership across the street, to have them release the brake and then re-replace the calipers they had installed. We ended up paying at least $500 more than initially expected due to all of the errors. The Monro manager - Brett - promised he would cover the cost but then didn't follow through with that and said we had to go through corporate. We did that and the corporate office agreed to refund a portion of the cost but hasn't followed through on this as of today. We have called guest services multiple times to follow-up and still nothing. I will NEVER go back to a Monro location after this experience and would advise anyone else to proceed with caution!!!!

Best One acted shady from the start - even my 10yr old tried to warn me he thought they were dishonest soon after we entered. They tried to tell me they called all the auto repair shops around the extended area and couldn't find my part anywhere. To order it would take 4 days at the earliest to arrive and driving my car wasn't safe. Leaving me and the kids no option but to be stranded far from home over easter. They lowered it off the hoist and said they couldn't continue until the parts arrived. I drove straight to the nearest parts store ,Auto Zone, and bought the parts myself! 3 more in stock! I drove back with the parts AND then they changed the story to they didn't have time for me till Tuesday.??? o..k.. They had quoted me a minimum of 4 hours for the job but I should expect more. I drove to Bill's Auto Repair and he had it back on the road in less than 2 hours including an alignment! WoW! Thank you Bill and shame on you Best One for trying to screw over a woman and her kids over the holiday. Just WoW.
