We are connoisseurs of Sprinter repair shops, which gives you an idea of the reliability of our van. We've had epically bad experiences, but this time we were lucky! Our breakdown happened on Sunday 9/22/24 10 miles from our campground in St George. We "limped" back, and with the help of google, found Deutschland Autowerks was just a mile away. We got there when they opened at 8am Monday. The Service Coordinator was very nice, and they immediately looked at the van to determine what was wrong. I know that sounds farfetched, but it's true. Immediately. The mechanic declared it an easy fix. They ordered the parts and said to come back at 1pm, when the parts would be in. They were, and by 1:40pm we were back on the road, good as new. And it didn't cost an arm and a leg - excellent value and a perfect repair. If I could give them 10 stars, I would! read more

Going on my third year of driving my car from Mesquite, NV to Deutschland in Saint George. Not only do they save me over 20% compared to the dealers but they are friendlier and more efficient. Just recently had a new battery put in and had in done in Mesquite. Battery was failing after 7 months so took it to Reilly's, in Saint George, I bought it online. They told me they would deliver it to whomever I wanted, under warranty. I immediately thought of Deutschland. Not only did they fit me in immediately but took care of all the details. The OTD (out the door) cost was quoted as $575.00 BUT this apparently did not include tax, supplies(?), diagnostic charge, hazmat charge. Apparently there is more than one door to get out of there. Get cost in writing and specify that OTD means out of all the doors. They did inform me of other services that the vehicle will need. I will have these services performed OTD; out of their service doors to a reputable place. read more

I have an old 03 Mercedes 350ML and this place seemed like the best location to take any Mercedes. I write this review with reluctancy because the personality and family-like business of this auto-care location didn't reflect my experience here. Firstly, I'm a student and I don't have a lot of money. Any money that goes into this car come from student loans. I came here for an oil change, which cost more than $120 ($60/hour for labor). That's not a good deal compared to other non-dealership oil changes. This place is definitely on the higher side. I didn't pay more than $90 in San Diego, California. They changed out my AC filter (recommended to me after seeing how dirty it was) and did an oil change. Afterwards, they gave me a plethora of problems, which wasn't new to me because Vu at Master Mechanic had told them to me. As I was leaving, my AC stopped blowing cold air. Ten minutes after no improvement, I called back and they were willing to take me back. They were gracious enough to see me after closing hours. The dysfunction of the AC may have been due to many reasons. But, all I can say is that the AC was working great until I came here. I could think of many malicious things that could've happened. But I don't fancy people who use yelp for defamation. I just want people to know about my personal experience. During fixes, typically, I give the technician space so I don't come off as over-bearing. Maybe I shouldn't have. All in all, I ended up spending another $120 (another $60 of labor for the 18 minutes to clear out and refill the AC) to get the AC to work. Ultimately, I spent $150 more in Utah than I would've if I was back in California. Keith was a great guy and the team seemed hard working, but my rating is based on the likelihood of my return, which is 1 star. The personality and working after hours gives it two more bumps to 3 stars. I would come here if you have disposable income. The assumption is, if you have a Mercedes then you probably have money. I can't live by that rule so, unfortunately, I won't be returning. read more

Keith and his team were amazing. My 2004 Sprinter broke down on our way back from Great Basin to San Diego. I read some of the reviews on yelp and decided to have my van towed here. Great decision! Keith not only fixed the busted hose and the faulty starter but was also able to fix an electrical issue I had which other mechanics were hesitant to look at. Living in San Diego, Keith made it easy for me to come pick up the van at my convenience. This is a great shop and I will be making trips out to Utah for future work. I had a radiator issue with my Audi Q7 and drove from Zion National Park with a slow leak hoping not to overheat. I called around a number of places in the St. George area. and couldn't find anyone to help quickly. A local radiator and muffler shop called Jeff at Deutschland AutoWerks for me and he said he could fit me in. He had to order a part but did was able to get it the next morning. He provided me with a courtesy loaner overnight and had me back on the road to Colorado with my family by noon the following day. He even followed up the next day to make sure every was running well. We were staying at my brother's place in Springdale, UT and our Mercedes was cutting out randomly while driving. Thankfully we had my sis-in-law's car to use. We called up and asked if they could squeeze us in as we were from out of state. They got us right in, kept the car overnight since the problem didn't replicate right away. Fixed the issue once the code came up, didn't overcharge for the service, and was a cool dude to chat with! Took my car in and paid for a diagnostic ( Keith gave me a good deal for being a new customer) . I replaced the faulty part but the same thing happened. Now I have to take it back. Not sure what to make of it yet, will update after taking it in again. (Turns out it was the part he said, I went cheap on mom OEM parts but fixed that and all is good). UPDATE: Took my car here for a second opinion and got a much more informed run down. I'll update after the repair! Repair went great no issues so far! Saved me over $3,000! The other foreign auto place wanted to charge like $4,000 for something else that was the wrong issue, Keith took care of it for waaaaaay less. This is my shop for good. Our Mercedes Sprinter RV broke down on I-15, rather scary. Got towed to Deutschland Autowerks. Owner Keith diagnosed the trouble, ordered part which arrived the next day. They let us leave the RV parked in shared space overnight, very kind to do that. As soon as part arrived, he installed it, test drove the vehicle, and we were back on the road.
