My apartment complex has "Food Truck Tuesdays" and I was lucky enough to come down on the day that Deux What Cha Wanna was here. A friendly staff member is there to greet you (with a mask on - a huge plus in my book) with a menu and offer your suggestions asking about your preferences. Of course, they will suggest the all in one famous Willie Mae and it sounded delicious and came with fries, so I was in. I was able to use apple pay! (yay contactless) and my food took long enough for me to know it was fresh, but short enough for me not to grown impatient. They also actually offered a pre-order online option which my apartment provided the link via email so that was really nice for those in a hurry! The food just the comfort of fried poboy of half fish and half shrimp that I needed. I recommend supporting this local business. read more

Service was delayed but the food was delicious. Seafood is extremely fresh and the sides are made very well. Portion size is also large for the price. With a longer long break (30 min), it would be a match made in heaven. read more

We had a chance to enjoy this wonderful food from their food truck at B-52 Brewery in Conroe. My wife and I both had the fried catfish and shrimp combo with red beans & rice. Wow! The fish was cooked up perfectly, tender, moist and the coating was nicely spiced. The shrimp were done to perfection, almost tempura-like. One bite and we knew that these folks know their business. The red beans & rice were equally as good with a stick to your ribs texture and a flavor that is filled with sausage and pork. FYI- get the remoulade sauce. If you have a chance to sample the cooking with these folks, definitely stop in. read more

I have never had a po boy before so I was really interested in trying! I walking up to the truck, I was greeted and immediately asked what I was interested in. The kind worker went through the menu with us and gave recommendations based on our feedback to have a genuine conversation about the food. I really appreciated the personal customer service that was on my level and not in a truck making it hard to hear. The food portions were amazing!!! The green beans tasted canned and the mac and cheese tasted like velveeta shells from a box which isn't bad when you have toddlers, just not what I expected. Don't mean to be harsh, just an honest review. It came to my daughters scho she ordered the total should of been 11 they chargered her 16 told her to wait by the tree she did, she went to check on it the guy taken orders told her they been called the name and he told her to wait by the tree. She has a friend go ask for a refund he said no she had another friend ask for a refund he said no so my daughter tells me when i picked her up.. so i asked how much longer he said what's the name we told him he tells me they been called the order someone must of took it, oh never mind the order for her friend was ready so i told him not that order the one i just told him he didn't know someone must of took it so i asked for it to be remade or her money back. He calls i guess the owner they kept asking if we paid card the guy who remembered her who took her order said she paid card i told him again she don't have a card she paid cash she gave hall a 20 hall gave her 4 back on her 11 dollar po boy... the manger looks for the order can't find it keeps saying he can't find it tells me he' has been out of chicken for 2 hours well nobody told her when she paid for a chicken po boy.. he keeps looking still can't find it... they try to give her 11 dollars back after 30 minutes I'm looking at my phone he said I'll give you 11 back i tell him you charged her 16 he tells me if I'm looking at it she paid card so i had to tell him I'm looking at my text messages but I'm telling you what you charged her. I put the change he gave hee which was 4 dollars on the edge... the owner walks back over said sorry for the inconvenience gives her 16 back.. it wasn't even the point of the money anymore it was how the guy taken orders simply messed up and was lying. He was just taken money my kids worked for.. 16 dollars wasn't going to break his business. The guy taken the orders though he will he pocketed the money or just simply ripped off a kid. read more
