She really took her time and checked in with me multiple times to make sure it was what I wanted. She was very sweet and her work is amazing. The nails were immaculate 3 weeks later when I came in for a fill. I didn't catch the name of my tech on my second visit, but wow she was fast. Multiple times through the service she paused to check in that I liked the length, shape, color, design etc. I appreciate that so much because we all know it can be hard to speak up when something isn't quite what we want. And omg she was fast. She removed my previous design, filled/shaped, and painted in just 40 mins. Such a excellent experience 10/10 The salon itself is clean and very cute. I had such a good experience here! The salon is so nice and well-equipped. I got a mani/pedi and I think the girls did an amazing job. My only complaint is that they didn't really clean up my cuticles but next time I'll request that. You would think that's a given but a lot of places don't do cuticles anymore. I also added callous removal to my pedicure and felt like she barely scrubbed my feet, I had to go home and do it. The pedicure was not great but I like the manicure. read more

Had a great first experience!!! Came in on a Tuesday around 6:30 and was sat fairly quickly! I go to salons for my pedis and there are a few things I look for. One, knowledge/skill level. Two, not wiping my cuticles on my foot once removed. Three, actually liking my nails. All boxes checked! I especially appreciate the attention to detail with making my toes particularly straight and crisp and taking pride in her work without me having to micromanage and correct. I wish I had asked for my tech's name, but she was fairly fast without feeling rushed and was pretty gentle except for one little nick. The music was 2K-2K10 vibes and I enjoyed the overall experience! I've paid 200+ for acrylic sets before but NO ONE beats the price for the kind of quality you get here! My goal on Yelp is always to share honest and true reviews to help the community and the businesses that do the best for their community and clients day in and day out. When I visited Escape Nail Spa a couple weeks ago, I was very excited to try and support this business. I posted an honest review about my experience while I was there for over 35 minutes waiting for my scheduled appointment. I detailed how it was 95 degrees outside, the salon had the door open, no AC and no fan. After some time I asked if they had AC and the technician stated they would turn it on, and turned on the FAN ONLY (as you can see in the photo of my first review). I got a negative and upset response from the business owner a couple weeks later on Yelp posted below my review. They accused me of lying and said that what I said was inaccurate and that they in fact had turned on the AC and fan. I want the community to know that this is not right and that as Yelp reviewers, many of us do the right thing and write honest reviews. In fact, it was so extremely hot in there, and again the door was open and remained open throughout the time we were there, that I began to feel ill inside the shop and ultimately had to leave without receiving any services. It is unfair that this business owner wrote a response to accuse me of being dishonest. Business owner: Please correct your communication method. You should have first off offered an apology. The reason I wrote the review was to inform the community that it was extremely hot in there and to beware. Like I said, I began to feel ill so I had to leave. I would have known this as a client and avoided the visit altogether had I known this. A better way to handle this would be to offer an apology first for the unsatisfactory experience, waste of my time, and making an accusation that my review was dishonest. Shame on you. read more

I've been a loyal customer at this salon for over 6 months and always recommended it to others. Unfortunately, my recent experience left me really disappointed. I missed one appointment, and instead of showing a little understanding, the staff (male receptionist) made me feel bad and rubbed it in my face as if I hadn't been a loyal client all along. I found myself having to explain why I couldn't make it or give a heads up (hence had a relative hospital emergency), and I certainly expected a bit more professionalism, understanding and appreciation for my continued business. Sadly, this experience has made me reconsider returning. The girls here are amazing and I am going to miss them! But this is not a way to treat a frequent returning customer. So I did research on the best spot around me and this is it !!! I decided to go for an Easter look and booked with whoever was available. Once again, I am not disappointed Chloe is the best! At My Escape Nail Spa on Indian Hill. Every time I go, she never disappoints. I am a perfectionist and my nails are always perfect and they last long! Other places, I've been when I needed a fill, my nails would lift and pull my hair out when I would shower and they would break often BUT since I've been going to My Escape Nail Spa my nails never lift, chip or break, I don't go as often as I should be going, lol and my nails still last! I'm from the South Bay area and had to be in Upland late in the afternoon. I hate traffic, so I decided to get in the vicinity earlier by 2 hours to maybe run errands or shop for something I don't need in my house, as it happens all the time. But my hands and feet need some lovin so I checked out Yelp and found this mani pedi place with 5 stars. I called and Mike was able to get me in within 30 mins. It's a business owned by a wonderful couple with a young family. It's a big place, neat, and very clean. The pedi was just what my always sandy toes needed. Mike's wife (forgive me I forgot her name) was gentle, thorough, and pampered my feet. Mike was the same with my hands and paid attention to details. My cuticles grow so fast and it was thick. Mike made it look so clean as if I've been going and having my nails done for years, which I'm not. The experience was perfect and timely. I was able to make it out on time and grab a light dinner before my meeting. Whenever I'm in the area, I'll make sure to get some mani pedi done by the duo. It's very reasonably priced. It's beautifully done and with some love. My suggestion to future customers are to make an appointment, arrive early, and be courteous. Don't be late coz that's just plain rude. Shape was cute and not a single scratch/cut/scrape on my cuticle. My nails also don't feel bumpy or thick either! Their dip selection is decent BUT the important part is that they pour it out into a smaller container for each customer. This means this place is super hygienic which really wins in my book. I know for a fact that not all the nearby salons do this so if you wanna avoid all the nasty from other customers, go here to be safe.
