When I recommend him by word-of-mouth I usually say that 10 minutes with Seijun is often better than an hour on the table with someone else. I guess I've had a lot of mediocre and even some bad (esp. chair) massages (one woman who works for the same company was so rough with me that she dislocated a neck vertebra). But I always feel really good, usually tingly, sleepy, and relaxed after getting up out of the chair. But during busy times, esp. Saturday, there is often a wait, so it's not a great idea to put it last on your errands list.

I have been doing Rosen work with Sandra for seven or eight years. Rosen work is very good at…read moredealing with long term chronic pain and processing somatized (suppressed) emotion. During a Rosen session, you undress down to your underwear and lie covered on a massage table. (You can skip undressing if you want). Sandra puts her hands very gently in various places and helps you sense your body more as you talk with her about what's up in your life. Sometimes it's not necessary to talk. I had done regular talk therapy for at least 20 years prior to starting with Sandra, and a lot of meditation and spiritual exploration as well. But working with Sandra helped me to get out of my head and past my defenses in a hurry. It has helped make me more resilient, creative, extroverted, and freer in my body and life. With Sandra's support I was able to end an 11 year toxic relationship, buy my own home, and weather 18 months of breast cancer treatment without disability income.
