I have been coming here off and on for a while and that had never happened--it tends to be a red flag in massage parlors. I said no thanks and said that I always paid afterwards. Shown into a room, got undressed, got on the table and lay there for 15 minutes. No idea whether my non-interest in paying up front led to this but who knows. 100% this place deserves a 5 star. I am a massage ho. My addicting began in Bali Indonesia 15 years ago. The girls there had the magic touch and ever since I been chasing the massage dragon. I have caught the dragon a few times. This place has been my go-to for the longest though. Recently I had a massage my Emily. She was actually quite great. She used her thumbs and fingers on my notes a lot which I love (feels deepest). Lulu is my dads go to. He's always like Omgosh she so strong. But Laura is MY Go-To. She's off on Thursday's but all of the girls are really truly fantastic that I will see any of them. They know me fairly well know because I go so often. What I also love is there is no language barrier. It's very hard when you go places and you can't even communicate pain when they are bone, or whether you want it harder or not to work on certain areas. They all speak English very well. Pricing is very nice. It's pretty average with the inflation, 70$ for an hour. I always tip at least 20$ no less. Massage is hard work... don't be stingy. Learn empathy and put urself in these women's shoes! If they truly do a terrible job then fine... do as you wish but they have good prices for a reason. You could go to a nice salon pay 160$ for a massage and get a totally crappy massage... I know because I done it. Good places like this are hard to find. I generally get deep tissue they know I like it really strong so I'm not sure how they are with other styles and can only speak on the deep strong massages so if your in need go here. Diablo Blvd in Lafayette right off Highway 24, Lucky's Day Spa delivers consistently. The decor is Asian-influenced and streamlined, and the rooms are always clean and pretty quiet even when the place is busy and soothing music is playing softly in the background. Each of the masseuses is so pleasant and has the ability to apply a wide range of pressure in their massages, and can definitely provide a deep-tissue experience if you like. That includes offering to walk on your back and using hot stones, among other options. Prices are competitive, they have been quite flexible to accommodate larger groups (3 or 4 at a time for us), and they open later than many other places. Yoyo was my therapist for the day. She was amazing! I arrived a few minutes early but she welcomed me and led me to my private room. I got relaxed and comfortable on table and she arrives shortly after. The music was soothing, the place smelled wonderful and sanitary measures were in place. I had a 90 minute massage, deep pressure, and it was so healing. Yoyo made sure I was comfortable and the pressure was correct. She even made sure I wore my mask as I turned over. Came here after a long day in search of some relaxation. While the prices were relatively reasonable, my partner and I were left feeling less than relaxed. During our couple's 60 min massage, the phone rang at least 3 times. Each time, after ringing for 10 or so seconds, one of our masseuses would stop the massage to leave the room and answer the phone. The doors were squeaky and each time a draft would rush into the room, effectively detracting from the relaxation each time. Seems like all of the rooms have open ceilings so you could hear everything loudly (like other customers coming in and using outside voices or phones ringing). Massage itself was fine but nothing to write home about. Will probably try the place across the street next time and most likely wouldn't go out of my way to recommend to a friend. read more

I love this place! The rooms and tables are clean and the ladies that work there are very nice. Those two things are really important to me. I went in for a 1 hour massage and half way through I asked if I could add another hour because it felt so good. They said no problem and worked on me for two hours. Wow! The masseuse I had had extremely strong hands and she could accommodate to how much pressure you want/need to relieve knots in your back and stress. At one point she noticed I was cold and went to go get me an extra blanket which I thought was super nice and extremely thoughtful of her. Summary: Amazing women working here really know their stuff. Longer version: I tweaked my neck and work the other day and my neck and upper back went into full spasm and I was completely stuck, unable to move without excruciating pain. Something like this has never happened to me and I was pretty scared so I called my dad, of course. He has chronic back pain and has had a few back surgeries and gets these spams in his back. My dad referred me to Lulu as she has helped him so much, a quote from my dad "one massage from her and I'm pain free all week." He drove me there, as I couldn't drive, and explained to them what happened. I was helped by a woman, I believe her name was Ahi, she helped me lay down because I couldn't. And she massaged me for 30 minutes. It was painful, not because of her but just because of the situation but she was very conscious of how I was feeling and made sure I was okay. She did an amazing job, despite the massage being a bit painful, after her massage I was actually able to move my neck. I was still stiff and sore but I'd been completely immobile in my neck despite doctor prescribed muscle relaxers. All in all, I had a great experience and am very grateful for what Ahi did for me! I can't thank her enough, and stress the importance of her gentleness and reassurance because I was terrified of her hurting me and making it worse. Thank you ladies! read more
