UPDATE: It was a pleasure to join the Develop EQM Developmental Handgun Course with Josh. He is extremely knowledgeable and does a great job assessing performance and giving clear, practical feedback that translates directly to improvement on the range. A week after taking his class, I was able to apply the skills and fundamentals Josh taught and saw a noticeable improvement in my overall shooting performance and confidence behind the gun. I have taken multiple classes and private instruction over the years with Josh. Handgun, rifle, and tactical instruction. He is able to adapt to anyone's skill level and add meaningful insight to almost every situation. One of the most important things that he teaches with all of his classes is safety. I felt very comfortable throughout my entire experience each time and gained confidence with everything from transitioning my pistol out of my holster to stowing my rifle in between rounds. I've taken my share of training over the years, and you will absolutely not find a more humble instructor than Josh. His classes are well tailored to whatever your current level of competency is and can be modified on the fly. Develop EQM is a true gem within firearms instruction! As a first time shooter, I was a little nervous and unsure of what to expect, but Josh was extremely patient, thoughtful, and clear with his direction, and by the end of the class I felt so much more confident and comfortable shooting and manipulating my firearm. I was timid at first after hearing the background of some of the other students he's instructed (military, law enforcement, etc), but he was easily able to adapt to my level of experience (or lack there of) and molded his lesson plan to fit my needs and goals.
