I had such a great experience at DeView Nail Salon! The salon itself is very nice, clean, and has a comfortable vibe. With the Easter weekend rush, it was packed, but I only waited about 20 minutes before they got started on me. They work thoroughly but quickly! I began with a pedicure that was so relaxing. The tech really took her time and gave a great massage. Next, it was time for my nails, and I was lucky enough to have Ashley as my nail tech. She was AMAZING, super friendly, funny, and just had great energy. She offered a beverage before we got started, which was a nice touch. Ashley asked to see a picture of the nail design I wanted and absolutely nailed it. I even joked that she's a perfectionist because she paid attention to even the smallest of details. After my nails, she waxed my eyebrows and did a good job of cleaning them up without making them too thin. They frame my face perfectly. All the staff were friendly and attentive, making the whole visit enjoyable from start to finish. I'll definitely be back in two weeks with an appointment booking for Ashley! My sister and mother received gift certificates from my nephew for this business. They used them today, both have gel overlay over natural nails, my sisters nails are great, nice and thin and the tech cleaned underneath. My mother however, her nails are really thick looking which makes it look bad when they grow out even a little, and the tech did not clean underneath each at all. They both get them done every 3 weeks and have a regular person here in Franklinton but went here because of the gift certificates. read more

I have never left a review BUT.. I came in for dip polish on my hands and to remove the gel polish on my toes and paint with regular polish (no pedicure). I was seated right away to get my toes done, however it took 10 mins for the lady to come to me. Whenever she did come she had a mouthful of food and unwashed hands. when she did start on my toes I noticed a few TOENAILS on my towel (they did not belong to me). She then took another food break while in the middle of working on my feet. She came back 20 mins later with another mouthful of food. She's also played on her phone for awhile before finishing my toes. I didn't bother staying for my dip nails. read more

The color of my nails is everything I was looking for! The place is clean and the people are friendly. However, I don't feel like there was 100 percent put into my mani or pedi. I get manicures and pedicures often and I've never seen someone take off so little of my "cuticles". After the fact of my manicure I can still see the red from my previous polish around my nails that wasn't fully removed, the gel doesn't look great on some of my nails, a few of my nails were not filed even, and a few nails have bubbles in them. I may try this place again with another staff member because I saw some talent with some of the staff in there. Perhaps there is others with more attention to detail. However, when it was time to get to the back and do my pedicure the staff in the back weren't as friendly or even assist me when I asked for warm water ( after waiting 30 mins my water was cold) I can understand a wait, but at least try to provide customer service and keep me posted on when I would be serviced.. sitting me in cold water wasn't a good idea . I visited this nail salon last night after a poor experience at another local salon. The receptionist was very welcoming and patient as she helped me to sign in and decide on the services I wanted. The decor of the salon is very modern with a very warm and inviting atmosphere. My nail tech Lacey was very friendly and did a great job at suggesting services that would be good options for the health and integrity of my nails. I have usually loved going to this salon in the past because of the kind and generous staff and the clean environment, but this experience was not like the other ones. I have not been to this salon in about a year and was excited to come back and have a nice manicure to last for a while. I tagged along with a friend who also expected better service and product from this salon due to her past visits as well. When I sat down in the chair next to my friend, we waited for about 10 minutes, which was expected and when my tech finally sat down she began my manicure, but was working very quickly and rough. I understood that they were busy but there was no need to rush while pushing my cuticles and especially when cutting them. When she asked me what color I wanted on my nails I showed her a reference picture in which she called difficult and showed the other tech working on another customer. For reference, I understood that designs were going to be an extra charge and in the past I payed about 10 dollars for designs on all of my nails but when she returned she told me that the design would be an extra 35 dollars on top of the already 37 dollar gel manicure, with no added tips, just my natural nail. I promptly told her no thank you because that was extremely over priced for me and I did not expect that. My next option was a basic French tip in which she said she could do that. She continued to rush the manicure and leave gaps on the sides of my nail tips that are left completely blank. When my friend showed her nail tech her inspiration picture, which was a full set with glittery French tips, she said that that design was possible for her to do and very easy. By the time her nails were all completed the glitter was the wrong color and texture and the nails were not the shape she wanted. Along with the problems she faced already, when the nail tech went to clean up the shape of the French tip, some glitter remained on the top part of her nail and when she asked if she could go back and remove it the nail tech responded "that's just how the polish works". My friend was very upset by this and it was the only thing she had asked her to fix. I am normally very pleased by the service and capabilities of this establishment but the visit today made me want to find a new salon. For the amount of money we spent today we should have received better quality nails. read more

Lovely new location. Was able to get an appointment right away on a Saturday. Prices are a little high. Did take advantage of the top pedicure for $60.00. I was hoping for at least an hour or longer. Lasted about 45 minutes. Although pedicure was pleasant expected to last longer. Initially was going to have a gel manicure. Was talked into a dip. Time will tell if this will last longer. Was not happy about additional cost of what they called 7.00 additional for manicure. Most places a manicure is included in the cost of the gel or dip. After paying 38$ for the dip the additional 7$ was a bit much to have hand cream and my hands rubbed for 3 minutes. Additional added costs might be what keeps me from returning. read more

I have been going to De View since I moved to Covington last year. I have always had a positive experience and great services. Today however, I am very disappointed in the customer service that my husband and I received. We did a walk in and was told that there would be a hour wait. Due to the waiting area being full, my husband and I decided to wait in the car. Realizing that I didn't sign in, I called into the salon (before I could start the car) and asked if I needed to sign in. I was told by the receptionist that I did not have to sign in and she did not need my phone number. She then asked for my name and told me that she would let Andy know that I was waiting. Upon our return, the same receptionist informed me that my wait would be an additional hour and a half because other customers walked in while we were away. At this time, Andy advised me that I would have to sign in. I explained to him that I walked in to inquire about the walk in wait time and then I called to confirm that I didn't need to sign in. The receptionist then told me that she didn't understand my question which seemed very incompetent in my opinion. They've had a few new receptionist over the past few months and since then I have encountered several issues but none have been to this degree. Usually I schedule in advance however, not only do I have to wait to be serviced, my availability is unpredictable (which is why I did a walk in today) I have been a loyal customer with De View but unfortunately I will not be returning. read more
