I'm going to make this a concise as possible. I looked up Deville Ink because I heard they were a really great shop with lots of friendly experienced artists. I wanted to get a portrait of my father who passed away two years ago on my forearm. I wanted it to cover my entire arm and was prepared to pay a lot of money because I wanted it to be perfect. I called the shop and a girl answered. After explaining to her what I wanted she immediately said "Oh, you're going to want Tony." (This is where I made the mistake) I just assumed because of her quick response and the fact that Tony owns the freakin shop that he was the go-to guy for portraits and realistic tattoos. I was so wrong and I paid for it....overpaid for it. Tony was a real nice guy, very professional, and I had two tattoos from other places prior and they were at a guys house and still look amazing and have not faded till this day so I was sure going to a shop would yield an even better result. Long story short, the tattoo looks like sh*t and Tony is just god-awful. Its almost completely faded and the detail looks like something I drew in 6th grade. I wish I were exaggerating you guys but I'm simply writing this review, 3 months later to WARN you. If your looking to spend a lot of money on a great looking tattoo just steer clear of this shop all together. Some people told me I should go back and have them touch it up but why would I entrust incompetence with the meaningful job of inking a portrait of my dad who I loved and only wanted to commemorate. Because I'm a college student, I don't have enough money to get it fixed yet but I'd rather wait and find the right shop before ever setting foot in Deville Ink again. And this is not to say that ALL the artists their suck because I'm sure there are some good ones but I felt lied to because after Tony had finished he asked me to show his work to everyone in the shop and I could see it on their faces as they all lied one after another about how amazing it looked. Seriously, guys?! The portrait he inked of my dad has missing teeth and the eyes look oriental! My dad is a black man and he had all of his teeth. Tony even took the liberty to ink a flannel shirt on my dad's picture and HE WASN'T WEARING A FLANNEL SHIRT!!! smh Just don't go here guys....do not go. read more

After posting on Facebook a few times about wanting a few piercings a friend suggested I try Becca at Deville Ink. So I called up to Deville to see when Becca was available. I was told she's there everyday except Wednesdays, so I went in on a Monday, which happened to be $30 piercings above the waste day, I told her I wanted to get my tongue pierced but I was scared of needles and what not. She made me feel so comfortable while I was getting pierced. She talked to me the entire time and distracted me from the needle. Not many places do that for there clients. Ever since that day I go back to Deville at least once or more a month. I've never been to a place of that setting where I get treated like I'm a family member. Walking into Deville Ink is like walking into a big family reunion. No matter who is behind the counter or in the shop someone always welcomes you with a warm smile and a great attitude. 8 piercings later I will never go to another tattoo/piercing shop. Not only is Becca the best piercer I've ever had the pleasure of meeting but the entire Deville crew is just as great. They all make me laugh and have a great time while I'm there. It's really like you're sitting in your living room with family there. They will laugh and joke with you at the same time they're creating beautiful art. The only problem I have ever had with Becca or the Deville Ink crew is not wanting to leave, because once you walk in you really wont want to walk out. After such great experiences at Deville I will never go to another tattoo/piercing shop ever again. Thank you guys so much for all of the great experiences !!! I couldn't be more happy !!!!!!! I have recently visited a lot of tattoo shops. I want my first tattoo to be a great experience. After going to a few shops in Middle River Essex and Chase I started heading towards downtown. Saw a few on eastern ave that I looked at and the seemed dinghy. Last stop was Deville Ink the flashing lights caught my eye. After stopping in and talking to them. The shop was immaculate. The counter guy was awesome and friendly. I had a rough idea of what I wanted but not a finished product. Talked to the artist Tony a bald head guy that kinda reminds me of Rick from pawnstars. really knew his stuff. He walked me thru my ideas and finally decided to put a deposit down and schedule an appointment for the following week. I was sick and couldn't get out of bed for my appointment. The next day i called the shop and said sorry i missed my appointment can i reschedule. He went out of his way to come in on his day off to do my work. I ended up with an amazing iron man tattoo on my leg and couldn't have been happier. I recommend him and (later finding out) his shop. He did a great job. Thanks Tony read more

Good afternoon My artist was Kc .Lovely young lady.Explained to me how she would have to adjust my tattoo to fit my arm.I wanted a bright flowery tattoo.And that's what I got.I LOVE IT...Will have her do another for me.The shop was very clean and bright.I could have spent the day looking at all the amazing stuff on the walls.Friendly family type shop.Parking was right outside the shop.Since I"m handicapped this is important The staff was ordering lunch and offered me to order with them.There was 9 staff members and they was all smiling and having fun.All was busy.I also had Josh put my earrings back in for me.Good prices,Good people.Will be back again. read more

I went in with a few friends to get our ears pierced. First of all, the place is definitely clean. Open, brightly lit, and it feels friendly. Josh pierced all of our ears and was very gracious with all of our questions and made sure we were completely comfortable before actually piercing us. The prices are pretty good for such a top notch place, and they have special deals on their website. Josh and Lindsey were also very good about explaining aftercare (which was free with the piercing). Pretty sure I'll be heading back there for my tattoo :) Only downside: really weird parking area. I had been wanting a second tattoo for quite some time. I am from Baltimore, but had been away for school for the past 7 years, so I had to rely on reviews to find the perfect place. Well I found it! i went in alone because all of my friends were out of town, but the team there was incredibly supportive and I felt immediately at ease. I can't say enough great things about Deville Ink and the artist Jessy Knuckles who did my work. Jessy is a class act and very good at what she does. I basically floated my ideas to her and she designed and executed a horror movie themed sleeve for me which far exceeded my expectations. Absolutely F rate customer service When a customer makes the hierarchy of the store aware of the issue instead of trying to amend the issue, they prefer to engage in a heated dispute. It has always been my understanding that if a business employs someone and that employee is let go for whatever reason whatever that employee did whilst employeed there the business itself unfortunately is responsible for their actions. I have had four substantial size tattoos done by Jorge. Very friendly and extreemly creative. for the last two i just gave him the idea and he came up with designs that are really kick ass. Everyone wants my ink, i send them there. I will not let any artist work on me now that i have found Deville. In fact I am traveling back from Nh to have work done by Jorge.
