A quick text to check the date with Masha and after she gave me the go ahead, I just ordered them on her website. The best part? They delivered them at precisely the time she said they would! And, not only were they charming to look at, but they were delicious. Everyone loved them. They looked exactly like they looked on the website. My wife being Korean born refined her cooking skills in the eastern cuisine like Korean, Japanese, Thailand, and others while I have refined my skills with French and Italian. Prescott is a beautiful place to live but its culinary basis is built on sawdust. We usually cook for ourselves if we want a top notch meal. Now the past several years I have been confined to a wheelchair and transport is very limited. We used to spend winters in Hawaii where we could get great quality meals and seafood whether we prepared them or went out. So our 40th! I wanted to do something special for my wife since I have not been living up to my end of our culinary relationship being confined to a wheelchair. Thus I started seeking out a Chef that would come to our home with his staff and prepare a custom made meal for us. I selected Chef Thomas and Copper State Kitchen. I started by a rather lengthy discussion via phone and followed up with sending Chef Thomas some of our favorite recipes, sufficient for him to develop a five-course meal for us. Chef Thomas is very professional and easy to work with. We refined the meal over the next two days we agreed on the following proposed menu; I supplied the wines.
