This is the Queen's Cottage living room with chocolate covered strawberries and champagne included in the elopement package!

We had the most incredible weekend here!! My (now) husband and I eloped here and Doug officiated our wedding! It was just the two of us and Doug and Jim made us feel so special and cared for. They are so thoughtful and kind!! They think of everything and are so flexible with accommodating your needs! The food was out of this world. There are not enough positive words to say to express how much we loved our stay. We cannot wait to return! Our stay was during COVID and we felt so comfortable and safe here. All of the staff wore masks, there was hand sanitizer provided in all common areas and in our room. Everything was clean and social distance guidances were followed. If you are looking for a getaway during this crazy time I would recommend staying here!!

**Elopement wedding dream that came true** Doug and Jim are unbelievable hosts, and their beautiful bed and breakfast inn was the perfect place to have an elopement wedding! My wife and I stayed in their "Roosevelt" room. It was very clean and fully stocked with all the amenities that you would need at arrival. When you first walk in the room you'll first notice the breathtaking view overseeing acres and acres of beautiful landscaped land and gardens (and of course the foliage during October). Our cabin was spacious and beautifully decorated, and it had a built in hot tub. Doug was extremely generous and he was the perfect justice of the peace for our ceremony. Breakfast in the morning was superb! They served us delicious homemade eggs, waffles, various cakes, toast w/ butter/jams, sausages, fresh fruits, juices, coffee and so much more. If you're planning to visit the Berkshires or having an elopement soon, this is definitely the place to stay! We'll absolutely be staying here again! Thank you so much Doug and Jim! Love, Minh & Nicholas Audy

Ultra clean rooms, beautiful gathering places with interesting artwork, games and comfy chairs and couches. All good. The owners, Joanne and Jim Conroy, could not have been more welcoming, arranging the Rose Room with an extra cot for my youngest daughter and serving us an absolutely delicious breakfast each day. We feasted on fresh fruit and orange juice, coffee/tea, yogurt with granola and home made nut pancakes, quiche, and just out of the oven muffins. The conversation with various guests from countries like Belgium and Germany was wonderful. A rolling outdoor lawn was a fabulous spot for a picnic lunch. All in all, we can't wait to come again to visit local favorites such as Naumkeag, The Divine Mercy Chaplet, Tanglewood, The Rockwell Museum, and so much more. An all season destination, come to Conroys, hands down better than any hotel! Five star!

Everyone here was so nice, and the hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. We were greeted with care with a welcome hot cider drink with rum to relax before checking in. Once we were all done, we went up to our room that had the balcony overlooking the lake. The room was nice and clean. The view from the room was pure bliss. Got a great view of the Harvest Moon as we were there that night. We never would have seen that back home. What's also nice is that breakfast was included. Every morning, there were different choices for breakfast along with pastries if we wanted. They even had pastries during the day if you wanted an extra treat. Every moment we interacted with anyone, we were greeted with kindness. And a shout out to Lori, who saved us with a recommendation to eat at Alta in Lenox for dinner. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the views and would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting the area. Lots to do and it's right near a bunch of great towns.

Not only that, but in our room upon arrival was a small decanter of brandy and accompanying chocolate truffles. Compare that to a regular hotel minibar, which you are practically charged for even looking at it, much less taking from it. The room felt very cozy. The bathroom was spacious, nicely decorated. Shower pressure was good. The bed was a little firmer than I would expect, but not a problem. The TV in the room was an old, small SD TV/VCR combo unit, but there was also a large, flat screen in the TV/sunroom on the main level.

The staff proved to be uniformly pleasant people, always helpful. The public spaces -- the dining areas and especially the recently refurbished parlor rooms which are stocked with drinks and hors d'oeuvres in the late afternoon -- are a genuine delight. So much is good here. But we have given the inn four stars not five because of the disappointing breakfasts. We were served very overcooked casseroles, overcooked scrambled eggs, grossly undercooked bacon and rather sad bits of yogurt. They really need some improvements here. That said -- and we know it requires us to be honest -- we would definitely look forward to returning with fingers crossed for some improvements in the breakfasts. And yes, 33 Main is on the pricey side, but it's high season for Tanglewood -- a very short drive away -- and given the quality here we think it's well worth considering a splurge.

Breakfast is always wonderful with a variety of entrées and sides. My only wish? That they bring back the specialty coffee machine--I miss those cappuccinos!
