The manager tried his best to recover it by reviewing security camera footage, even going so far as reporting the theft to the local police. He seemed like a professional stand-up person. Nonetheless I wanted to warn potential guests not to come here with any object of value to you because it might be stolen. I will take this review down I'd it is returned.

Fresh baked cookies and hot cider awaited us upon our arrival... and the English tea cake was wonderful! The Inn itself as well as the rooms are beautifully appointed and have a charming New England feel. The library is especially welcoming with a woodburning fireplace. Breakfast was fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed their house special, Creme Brulee French Toast! The blueberry muffins and roasted pear were equally delicious!!!

My main complaint is with the website pictures misrepresenting the pool and the description of on-sight trails. The outdoor pool is right next to a 4 lane busy road. The picture on their website gives you the impression of something else altogether. We were hoping for a spot to relax and unwind and, in the end, did not even use it. When we asked about how to access the onsite trails we were looked at like: what are you talking about? They handed us a brochure about trails in the area at large. Apparently it's okay to just out-and-out lie and misrepresent, now. In the end we felt the amount of money paid should buy more than a clean room and clean sheets. Our expectations were dashed and we were dissappointed. For this price, we would not stay here again.

The Kemble Inn has been one of the most enjoyable overnight stays I've ever had the pleasure of attending. The rooms are gorgeous, the hotel smart and elegant but most important the staff was beyond helpful & friendly. The bathtub is to die for and the amenities are outstanding. I think one can see I really enjoyed my stay. It's worth every penny. Also, the restaurant in the them building is exemplary. Seriously, if you want a fabulous night away from the town (I'm from the Boston area) take the time to come out and enjoy. The suite was spacious and very comfortable for two people, with a king bed and a full kitchen that made it feel more like a home away from home than a typical hotel stay.
