Ive been a long time customer with Devons. Always kept going back to get more stuff. I started getting lab grown diamonds for my wife and they look beautiful. But looks are deceiving. Got a $2k bracelet that broke 12 days after giving it to my wife. Then broke again after it was fixed. Needless to say i gave that garbage back and luckily got a full refund. I also bought her a beautiful lab grown diamond ring. Paid $3k out the door. In the last 8 months, 2 small diamonds have been lost on 2 different occasions. Also had to repair the bent prongs on the centerpiece stone. And again, i got my wife lab grown diamond earrings and have had multiple problems with those. Itsa pattern of garbage production. All my mined diamond purchases have never had 1 issue. So glad i get the insurence or i would be left with unfixable crap. Just be warned that the lab grown products are garbage. Walked in and was greeted by both employees. Even though one employee was assisting customers already she still took the initiative to greet me. What does that tell you? The service will be great! Even though I was not in to purchase. I was assisted by the assistant manager herself and she was a pleasure! Asked her a simple question and she made the process super pleasant! Vanessa was very quick in replacing my battery compared to the other jewelers I went to prior and was told it would be a wait. Glad I was able to wear my wrist candy today! Their diamonds tend to have high clarity at a pretty good cost. Sell Reps: OK. Not nearly as pushy as Rogers jewelry, but still your typical sales rep. pushiness. Ask for Trevor for a nicer attitude and more conversational person. Price: Good prices. Usually the cheapest price for the best quality locally. They tend to have clear and more brilliant stones at a good cost, far above your typical consumer store. Not quite as good as the quality at Warners, but still good. The Rap: Locally it is one of the best stores for price/quality. If you're going to buy locally, this is one of the first places you will probably want to visit (along with Warners and Knutson, both of which are more expensive) read more

I have a special place in my heart for this place. One day, over a year ago, my then boyfriend & I were walking by Devons while at Fashion Fair. Fashion Fair has a lot of jewelry stores, but this has long been my favorite to walk by looking longingly at the jewelry on display. That day I saw it. So...I didnt get that ring (and uh it's a yellow diamond..lol) - unfortunately the ring was long gone by the time my boyfriend secretly went back to buy my would be engagement ring. I was pleased with his choice. I was hoping to get a SimonG ring like I've always wanted. He did give me the choice to upgrade for what I want. I went in when Devon's had a show which included SimonG. When I was ready to 'upgrade' to the ring that would be the ring that would make me very happy, I was told that I couldn't go from one brand to another? Not what I wanted to hear. A great place. But, lack of understanding that as a future married woman. Everything has to be on point. In this perspective the ring is a BIG thing to consider. Unfortunately, that wasn't the case for me. My wife bought me a new wedding band for Christmas. This is March 3 and I still do not have it. This experience has been a nightmare. Initially, the wrong size was ordered, so DeVons ordered a replacement. No word for over a month. We called again, and were told that the replacement was never ordered. The ring finally came in and was the WRONG ring. Little to no follow up & I'm sure it will be a hassle to get our money back. I'm sorry to be writing this review, but I am deeply disappointed. During the first week of November 2013 my husband and I purchased a wedding ring for him from DeVons. The ring was made to order by a company here in the USA. Based on the ring sizing at the store the representative recommended we order a size 11. They told us that the ring could not be re-sized, but we could order another one if this one did not fit, for an additional $50. The ring was to be delivered a week before our November 30th midday wedding. The ring was not delivered as promised. After many phone calls, DeVons finally had the ring and my husband had to go to the store to pick it up just before closing the night of November 29th. To say this was an inconvenience is an understatement. When my husband put his ring on it was too big. We are aware that ones fingers can swell and then become smaller, so we assumed this was a day when they were smaller. We discovered over time that the ring really was too big. We didn't want to pay the $50 to have it replaced so my husband quit wearing it. One evening in Mid February we were attending a retirement party so he wore the ring. That was the last time we saw it. It must have fallen off his hand. We searched for days, unsuccessfully. I did some research on the ring and discovered that other vendors recommended the ring be purchased 1/2 size smaller than the standard jeweler ring sizer! I was shocked. Why didn't the representative at DeVons know that? I called DeVons and spoke with the representative. He was unaware of any information regarding the recommendation the ring be purchased 1/2 size smaller than his ring sizer showed his ring size to be. I explained what happened to the ring and asked what he could do to assist in replacing the ring. He said we should have brought the ring in to be re-sized. I told him we didn't have another $50. That is when he told us we had 30 days to have it re-sized free of cost. Ugh! He said he would check with management to see what he could do. After about ten days and multiple calls later he finally said he could replace it at a cost of $35 less than we originally paid for it. I told him that was unacceptable. I told him that we accepted responsibility for my husband wearing the ring when it was too large and losing it. I also told him I expected DeVons to accept responsibility for not being aware of the need to order it 1/2 size smaller AND for not advising us that we had 30 days to return the ring to have it re-sized AT NO COST. He said he would check and see if he could offer us any other incentives to replace the ring. I spent weeks waiting for a reply. I called the representative numerous times. He either was not there or did not have an answer for me and asked me to wait longer. I got tired of waiting. I went on-line last week and ordered the ring from another vendor. The very next day I received a call from the vendor who said he wanted to discuss the size of the ring that I ordered because the ring should be ordered 1/2 size smaller than the standard jeweler ring sizer indicated should be ordered. I explained what happened to him and let him know that the size I ordered was 1/2 size smaller than the one I had previously purchased. We agreed that was the correct size, but he told me that we had 45 days after we received the ring to have it re-sized free of charge. He confirmed the ring was custom made by the same company here in the USA. Today (less than 7 days later) I received confirmation that the ring had been shipped. It should be delivered on Monday. It should be noted that the price I paid for the replacement ring was less than the amount DeVons was going to charge me. DeVons failed repeatedly with this purchase and I gave them numerous opportunities to make it right. My husband buys me jewelry two or three times a year. Neither one of us will ever make another purchase from DeVons. read more

My (now) husband and I have had great experiences here. We have now purchased 4 rings alone from the store and I've already got my next piece of jewelry picked out. Lets start with the engagement ring he purchsed. He went to the mall with his dad, started at a couple other stores. After first not being taken seriously/ignored because hes young and has tattoos then being given ridiculos prices at another store for cubic zirconium rings he went to DeVons. They helped him through the process and gave him a good price on a REAL diamond ring. ( it was a solitaire) A few months later we went back to get a "ring guard" to add a little extra to the ring. He had picked one out but wanted to make sure I loved it before he bought it ( I picked the same one ) this one was going to be my christmas present. The same day we picked out his wedding band and sent it off to be sized. Finally, the 2 days before the wedding we went for a wedding band. had a great idea in mind and they patiently handed us each ring we pointed at and went back and fourth with for a solid 40 minutes before we decided. They made everything simple, alwasy made us feel welcomed, and got the sizing done quickly every time. (every ring had to be sized since my hands are tiny) At the last purchase on top of a quick shine for our rings the salesperson gave us a free cleaner so that I could clean the rings up to the moment of "I do's" and have them sparkling for our pictures.
