    His new doggy treadmill!
    Nicolette O.

10/10 stars if I could give them. Ben, Cortney, Martina, and Josh and the rest of the team are so beyond incredible at Devotion to Dogs. Our little Gizmo, a 2-year old Shih Tzu, came in for some behavioral and obedience challenges, and was horrible at recall. The whole staff not only made Gizmo feel at ease, and got him to actually recall back to us in less than a week of Board & Train, but now he no longer dashes through doors, is polite and kind to anyone who comes in contact with him, and his collapsed trachea (which he has had since birth) has greatly improved due to his body being better regulated! He is also having the best time with his at home doggy treadmill (which has been the best especially living in an apartment), and new structured daily routine. Grateful is not even enough of a description to express our love for you guys. Thank you, and so excited to be apart of the family!

    Wallen Graduated from the program

We did the two week board and train for our husky Wallen because he had an incident of aggression. The results were incredible! Josh and Martina know what they are doing! They were patient and professional through the entire process, listened and worked with all of our questions and concerns, and kept us up to date daily on Wallen's progress. They were understanding with knowing our schedule constraints and made sure we had enough follow-ups to make sure we knew how to continue training after we left. We cannot recommend them enough.

    Pinky!

Me and my girlfriend adopted a dog, Pinky, back in 2025, when we adopted her they said she was quiet calm and shy, a week after bringing her home she started being very people and dog aggressive and even attacked people and dogs. We were scared to even bring her outside on a walk because she would go insane at anything that moved. As two teenagers who just moved out on their own we were lost and felt very hopeless on what to do. The last thing we wanted to do was have to surrender her especially after her past. We looked around for weeks trying to find the right place but many places weren't reliable and didn't seem like they would work. We contacted devotion to dogs and right away I knew we had to at least give it a shot. Going in I wasn't sure if it would work or if I was just wasting my money but I had to give it a shot. Even just after the first appointment, I felt confident taking her on walks and even being able to have her look at other people and dogs then look back at me for approval. It was really a night and day difference. I could not recommend this place more and honestly without them and without their help through this process I don't know where I would be with her. I can bring her confidently to a park and drop the leash knowing that she will come back to me the second I say. If you are looking for a sign to get your dog trained here this is it!

Just finished the 10 day stay and train program. We are blown away by the progress our new rescue pit Charlie has made. Our main concern was his high prey drive. We had no control and now have all the control and tools we need to keep improving and enjoying life! On top of that he's now fully trained, obedient, and confident with his skills. We are thrilled to death with devotion to dogs. The training was worth every penny. The ENTIRE staff is above and beyond amazing - they are so knowledgeable, caring, patient, and helpful - we are confident moving forward knowing we have their support. Thank you!!!

After years of owning Cane Corsos, we decided to adopt/rescue a 1 yr old Corso that was highly reactive, among other things. We decided we needed the help of someone experienced. Ben and team came highly recommended from a rescue org. Ben gave us the guidance and tools to turn our Corso into a law abiding citizen, to the point we were comfortable rescuing a female Corso. He helped us get them to the point where they are best friends. Ben's a walking encyclopedia who will not just stick to one method, he'll try multiple methods along with phsycology to get your dog in the right mindset.

    Mila behaving herself.
    Lynn V.

Ben is the BEST! We didn't work with him as much as we should have because my dog and I both had health issues, but he really changed the way our walks went and gave me lots of great advice and methods to deal with Mila's behavior. I highly recommend him for anyone who has a reactive dog, or any dog issues for that matter.

Ben usually comes out to your house as it helps him assess the issues you might be having. He's very flexible and great to work with. I highly recommend him!!

I let Katie know how anxious they can get and she has been so empathetic and caring with them. I was and am continually impressed with how she always places the dogs comfort and safety first. We haven't boarded them yet (not needed for a while), but we are working on getting them comfortable with her so that it won't be a big shock and trauma to them when I leave them for the first time. They've met with her twice and already love her. Just one of the dogs has extreme anxiety and separation anxiety so when I'm not around, they easily freak out which is why I scheduled for more frequent day care days before the boarding date in order to make the boarding less stressful. Her patience with my anxious babies makes me feel very comfortable in leaving them with her. She treats my dogs how I would treat them (actually probably even better and with more patience). And I'm so impressed that I do plan to do biweekly or monthly (depending on what my budget allows) daycare with her so that the dogs will be able to have fun away from home but in a controlled and monitored environment with someone that prioritizes their comfort and safety. Her prices are super reasonable too! Side note, the dogs are trained in another language and she makes the extra effort to learn the commands in the other language for them. I didn't expect this, and am very appreciative of the effort.

They come to you, which makes the process convenient and helps the trainer work with your dog in the exact environment where the behavior matters most. Katie was professional, patient, and very knowledgeable. She explained everything clearly, tailored the training to my dog's needs, and gave me simple steps to follow between sessions. I saw real progress quickly, and my dog is calmer, more responsive, and much easier to manage day to day. If you are considering dog training, I highly recommend Wolf Girl Canine Club. When you reach out, ask for Katie.

Our 4 month old puppy, Atlas, had a rough start at life and I was so worried he would lose so much of his progress if we went away, but Mia stepped in and helped out so much with his training and care! He came back such a great walker with good habits and better manners with other pups and people. I met with Mia before deciding to do the board and train and she was so detailed and knowledgeable. It made me feel very comfortable with her and Atlas. We discussed in detail his current training, my goals, and concerns and worries I had, etc. She was very thorough and made sure to keep us updated on his progress while we were away. While our corgi will always be a unique challenge , I am now much more confident in how to work with her. Mias approach to training truly takes into account the dogs personality and also family dynamic. I'm thankful we found her . She is also available to help post training. Upon checking into the "hotel" we requested to see the area he would be staying in. His "hotel" room wasn't the greatest digs but it was clean and dry. As we were filling out the paper work for him to stay the lady must have asked us 4 times if they were responsible for feeding him while there. Seriously! I started to wonder then if he was going to even get fed for the next two days. I dismissed the horrible feeling and chalked it up to separation anxiety since I had never left my dog with a stranger or a "hotel" before. The part that disgusts me the most is when we returned to pick him up neither the same woman who checked us in nor the teenage boy who brought him out said anything about our dog being injured. As we were walking him to the car we noticed he was limping on his back leg. We immediately went back inside and asked why he was limping. The lady never really said much but the boy said our dog got his foot caught in the door as he was bringing him out and he was only bleeding a little. I looked at this punk kid and the lady and said "A little! Why on earth would you even think about letting us walk out the door and not even mention the fact that my dog just got injured in your facility only a matter of mere minutes ago!!" NEVER AGAIN! Would we even dream of taking our dog here!!!

He did a fine job, and I didn't have any major issues. My only issue in the beginning was that he told me AFTER our meet and greet that the time clock for walks starts when he walks into the building. I showed him the entrance closer to my place (which is right by the entrance), but he wasn't using that one at first. While I had wished that he communicated this during our meet and greet, I wasn't upset by it after we had established a steady routine. A few weeks/months after I settled into my new job, I had been granted the ability to work from home full time with a few occasional sporadic days in the office. I texted him to tell him that I won't need a walker after a certain date and explained that I'll be WFH. I even told him that I'd still like to reach out on days I'd have to be in-office. Later that day, he called to "ask" me what he did wrong. His tone was extremely confrontational and aggressive. I reiterated that I don't need a walker anymore because my situation had changed. He kept demanding an explanation. Honestly, I felt really put off by this. I had to tell him several times that it's because the situation had changed and it took multiple attempts to get him off the phone. He kept trying to push me because he didn't seem to believe me. Honestly, I don't care if he did. Before this conversation, I probably would have asked him to walk my dog on the days that I'd be in the office, but this made me so uncomfortable. Over the period of several months, he occasionally texted and/or called to ask me if we had any dog walking needs. I didn't answer, but eventually texted him to tell him that we did not. I understand his wanting a "reason" to try to improve. However, I gave him a reason. And even if I didn't, I don't necessarily owe him one to the point where he has to demand one repeatedly.
