So I typically we don't travel this far south but I have heard rave reviews about this restaurant. My wife and I decided to give this place a go. We made the drive to Bloomsdale and we're definitely NOT disappointed!! Honestly, we could not be happier with our level of satisfaction. We rarely leave reviews, good or bad. But I'm this instance, we were absolutely compelled to review not only the food, but our server as well. Alicia is a diamond in the rough, a literal breath of fresh air. We sat down and Alicia came over to greet us with the brightest smile we could of imagined. My wife and I rarely go out because of the fact that most of the time something gets messed up. Not only did Alicia correctly input our order, but was so personable while casually chatting with us. We watched as she interacted with her other tables and we were absolutely astonished on how she can be so efficient as well as fun and friendly. In all honesty, I don't think she can't not smile. This is the reason, no, SHE is the reason we have regain faith in humanity in the service industry. I wish there were more stars that we can give her but unfortunately we are limited to only 5 stars. I LOVE this place! It has something for everyone.. a quiet dinner with the family or a night out with friends! In most places, the food is good but the atmosphere sucks or the atmosphere is good and the food sucks... but you will find the best of both worlds here! 5 stars for sure! I have to give a HUGE shoutout to my waitress today, Kacey!!! I have never wrote a review on yelp before but I downloaded the app just to brag on this girl!! She was beyond helpful and as sweet as can be! I have a little boy that is 3 years old and he likes to get messy, talk loud, and flirt with every waitress at every restaurant we go to. He is all boy! A lot of people will role their eyes at this and occasionally I hear the mom shamers talking, "she needs to learn to control her child, we are in public" but Kacey was patient, kind, and just overall awesome with him! Words don't even come close to describing the customer service she gave... and in my opinion that means a lot considering today was opening day, the game was on, and they were busy! This morning my wife and I drove several miles to the Kozy Kitchen for breakfast. We were greeted by Clara, our favorite server. As always, Clara was warm and friendly, and very helpful also. My wife not being a breakfast person, like me, was having trouble choosing a breakfast item(s). Clara sensing that my wife was struggling with the breakfast menu, suggested lunch, she then brought my wife a regular menu. Within a few seconds my wife made her choice. While the food was being prepared, Clara kept our drinks full. It seemed like 10-15 minutes had passed, when our food was served piping hot and the food's appearance was very inviting. As we were eating and enjoying the atmosphere of the Kozy Kitchen. Clara returned several times to our table to check in on us.Wow! What service, being topped off by great food. Brigitte Buff did an amazing job working with us so that we could have our sons wedding rehearsal dinner at the Dew Drop. We had about 40 people and we did the appetizer package with pizza, pulled pork nachos and salad. We added the soda with our meal too. She was so helpful in making all our decisions and responded in a timely manner to all calls, texts and emails. The week of the event it looked like rain and we were planning on being outside and her and the staff kept an eye out and had alternative plans ready. The rain did end up coming and they quickly moved us in doors with no pause in our event. Staff was friendly and very helpful. We so appreciate all of Brigette's help and hard work to make our event a success. The staff, food and setting were perfect. Brigitte was super helpful and accommodating when it came to the wedding planning process. She was there to answer any question we may have had and responded very quickly to the every email or text. Me and my husband loved the fact that we were able to have a tasting a few months in advance in order to make the entree choice an easy pick. venue was perfect and staff was super friendly & helpful! we did have a few minor hiccups when it came to getting our music to play over the speakers and were unable to use the microphones. the staff did their best to accommodate us. overall , the Dew Drop Inn was definitely the best choice for our wedding and we are so glad we booked with them! we will definitely be renting for future events! read more

We came across this place totally by chance one afternoon heading to a festival in St Genevieve- which is about an hour and 45 minutes from our house. We had such a fantastic experience, we went back for dinner on a Friday night two weeks later! The food is absolutely delicious and plentiful! The atmosphere is great- huge outdoor patio with games and comfortable furniture. We were so excited that Kacey was our server during both visits. She was so pleasant and helpful- and just made the experience that much better! Even though it's nearly a two hour drive, we will be making the Dew Drop Inn a regular stop on our restaurant rotation!! We hosted our rehearsal dinner at Dew Drop with Brigitte and team and were absolutely blown away by their kindness, hospitality, quick response time, delicious food, and amazing drinks! The venue is absolutely gorgeous & smelled amazing the second we walked in! Their pricing is remarkable and we absolutely loved our bartender! Their team had the Mill Room spotless and open for us super early in the morning to set up and was even kind enough to light our candles and fill our vases before our arrival! I rented the Mill Room for a Baby Shower/Diaper Party. I can't praise Brigitte enough for all her help preparing us for this! She always answered my calls and texts leading up to the event to make sure we had everything we needed! The day of our party Amy was the Bartender for our event! She worked so hard for us and was so pleasant and helpful to us! The food we ordered was also amazing! Night of, the food exceeded already high expectations and our group of 30 left full and highly satisfied. Highly recommend booking a private venue with Bridgette at the Dew Drop Inn. The compliments I received from our guess was on going during our event. Adult fun and kid friendly amenities for all to have fun! Bridgette was so helpful, made the process so care free delicious food! Everyone was amazing. I booked almost a year out of our event and in went smoothly. The space was ready to decorate and the staff were very helpful and knowledgeable. Our bartender was very nice and attentive. The room is private with plenty of room. Their outside space is awesome especially for those that like outside activities. I got to work with Brigette Buff for a small friends gathering the night before my wedding. it wasn't a rehearsal dinner because we had to have that on Friday with the venue. This was just a nice little dinner for friends and parents. Called to reserve the patio for my wife's birthday and was connected with Brigitte. She was super helpful in explaining the different options available. The day of the party the temperature dropped unexpectedly and Brigitte was able to get us moved inside to the heated deck with no issues. I booked a last minute wedding rehearsal dinner for 40 people with the Dew Drop. My son was getting married in Bloomsdale in March, but due to the COVID virus, his wedding got pushed back to June. It is always fun and delicious when my family and I go to Dew Drop for our day-time drinking/fried food fun, but today...it was exceptional! We had our fall wedding here and the entire staff was great. Brigitte Buff was our event coordinator and she had every detail down perfectly. She kept in touch constantly and was quick to reply to any questions. The venue was absolutely beautiful and the food was good. Our bartender was amazing. Even the manager was helping us when we were there early to set up. This is definitely a family place.
