The menu is limited to burgers, hot dogs, gyros and the fried side choices to accompany. When your menu is smaller, the food is often better! This definitely translates here. The woman who took our order was super friendly, like she had known us and we felt instantly welcomed upon arrival. It's a simple, diner style restaurant. Casual and comfortable with great food! It's a must to check it out!

It's kind of like an old fashioned diner place, ample tables and they have a bar with high top chairs, they serve beer and wine. The menu is on the wall, no missing it, you order by the bar and find a table to sit. Very clean and organized place, employees are very friendly. They have a soda dispenser with Coke products and you get all the refills that you want. They also have a condiment table with plastic ware, ketchup, mustard etc. We ordered and our food was delivered to us in a timely fashion, piping hot. We both ordered double cheeseburgers, and split a large fry, large enough for two people and the fry's were hot out of the fry basket, delicious. Burgers were to die for, juicy, tasty with fresh toppings, excellent. Their prices are so darn reasonable, families on a budget can go out and treat themselves, that's great! Huge menu, something for everyone. Highly recommend JR's Good Time, gosh, why did we wait so long to try this great place? Come see for yourselves. Debbie

We showed up tonight to celebrate my birthday (today), my hubby's (Monday) and our daughter in…read morelaw's (this past Thursday). Couldn't think of a better place to eat, drink and be merry at! Tonight was "trivia night", which, while we didn't play, we did enjoy trying to guess the answers. Our grand daughter's face was a big "O" of amazement when realizing the upper tables were enjoying roasting their marshmallows at their table...when she was told they were making s'mores...she went nuts! She's so excited to get tableside s'mores! My wings were even better than they were last time since there was an addition of seasonings sprinkled on them along with the dill pickles, but unfortunately, our cheeseburger pizza suffered from not having enough mustard and ketchup base to it, the tomatoes were enormous chunks and so were red onions. It made it very difficult to eat without things falling all over your clothing since they were such huge chunks on top of the tiny pieces of pizza. My husband got the steak bomb sub, son got a pepperoni Stromboli, daughter in law got the Sharon's Brie burger, grand daughter the child's cheeseburger and fries. Our apps were the garlic knots, mild wings (10) and fried cheese curds with sriracha ranch dipping sauce. Everything was okay, except that it took forever for everything to come out, compared to our first visit. Even our s'mores seemed to take forever. The quickest part of the whole visit was the bill . The fella that waited on us the first time was on point. Not saying that the young lady waiting on us was rude or anything, but I think she was trying to do too many things at once and some things just fell by the wayside. Last visit we came in on a Saturday as well, but perhaps some people are just better at multitasking? I don't know. This time, our bill was over $200 with tip, but we still brought home food again. Not a lot compared to the last time, only 2 little pickle wings (I still can't get enough of those darn things!) and maybe 4 slices of pizza. My husband's loaded tots weren't to his liking, so there's something even for the dog tomorrow We may stay away for awhile and see if they manage to work out some kinks. If anything, the best rule is consistency. If the food preparation is not consistent every time you go to eat there, there's a problem. There should be NO deviation just because someone else is cooking it. All recipes should be the same. Twice we've ordered the same items and they've been different. I still recommend this place for great vibes, cocktails, food and the tableside s'mores. There's just nowhere else like it!

There are a few tables outside, right by the door. There are signs that make it clear they are non smoking tables. We decided to eat inside, were seated right away and our server came quickly. She told us what some of the popular burgers were and we made our selections based on that. I had the Jamaican burger cooked medium. This burger was cooked perfectly, had good flavor, was topped with a sweet and spicy jerk sauce. It was everything that I expected. My friend had the Brie burger and his daughter had the smash burger and they both said those burgers were very good as well. Our server was attentive to our needs throughout our meal. I would definitely go back again.

Pudgees is a burger and Hot dog shop par excellence. What a wide assortment of options. From merely big food to titanic portions for the champion eaters out there. We both tried the half pound burger and wow.Tasty- and two hands full. Burgers of this size require grip strength and endurance to keep it from exploding like a deck of cards. My initial bite (a gator sized one) merely grazed the perimeter. I was sent scampering off like a chihuahua tail between my legs whimpering. I regained my pride in time and went back to combat with that beast, the details of which I will spare you. I emerged victorious but both my girlfriend and I agreed we could have shared one. I would like to go back again and again to try their various hot dogs and a pork cutlet sandwich which appears insane. I hope to see you there. Maybe you will be the champion taking on the cutlet sandwich. Oh lord.

Our waitress was very friendly and explained the menu since we hadn't been there before and pointed out specials available during the week. My husband got the clam chowder soup, my son got wings with sauce on the side. I chose the nachos that came out in a big charcoal can and the waitress lets them dump out on the plate from the bottom of the cab. Neat presentation but felt all the good stuff then ended up at the bottom and you had to dig through. The food was average. I also got the house margarita which was a great price but it watered down fairly quick. Overall, I'd try it again.

Once we ordered our beverages it took a while before we could put in our order. Maybe an extra server may have helped a bit. Our food finally came out and was pretty good. I had ordered a trio meal of the chicken wings which were boneless. I received an extra one. All the food was pretty good and hot. The tangy buffalo sauce didn't have much if any heat. Overall not a bad experience given the time of day. It seemed pretty average for service and good quality/taste.
