Our order came out quickly and was pretty good. Onion rings and french fries were good hot but once they started cooking were pretty greasy. The burgers were good. We took them off the bread. The waitress was friendly and attentive. The ambiance is lacking, still needs a good cleaning. Bathrooms are rough but usable. read more

We enjoyed our lunch here today very much! We were greeted right at the door and seated, asked what we would like to drink and given menus. I decided on grilled cheese with fries and was very happy I could even order it on rye bread, my favorite. My hubby chose to eat a breakfast entree that was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious too. We were traveling with Freckles our loyal Dalmation and we needed a place to have breakfast. Thank goodness the weather has been beautiful we ate outside. We sat outside on a picnic bench and our server brought us water for the Freck and coffee for us. The food was delicious, nothing fancy but a good home cooked meal. We both had omelets with cheese, I had home fries and it came with a nice size pancake. Since I share my breakfast with the pooch, she loved the home fries and pieces of the pancake. I loved the omelet which was western with cheese. This way I can limit my carbs! I swear we gave her breakfast before we left the motel, but she was complaining she was hungry. The waitress brought us refills of coffee and made sure we had everything we needed. Love the warmth, friendliness of Mama Sally's and we would definitely return again. read more

Traveling from New Orleans, and stopped at this little place. A little outdated, small town place with some "regulars". Very friendly server took our order. I got the bacon cheeseburger with fries and a side of mashed potatoes and gravy. I mean, with a restaurant named Mamá Sally's, it's GOT to have great homemade mashed potatoes and gravy, right? My new go to place. My husband and I just retired in Dunnellon Florida about a year ago. We had just got home from and awlful fishing trip (didn't catch anything) I couldn't find a good burger during our trip, so I didn't eat much. We normally do not eat out a lot due to me enjoying homemade food. At Mamma Sally's, we both had burgers and my burger was one of the best burgers that I have eaten in at least a year. All 1/2-pound burgers are made to order, and they are good and juicy, no smash burgers here! This has got to be a local hangout. Our waitress was great! It is a little dated, but when I walked in, I felt like I had just walked into my grandmother's home. After taking one bite of my burger, I want to order something to go but I will just wait until next time. We will be back real soon! read more

We loved the country fried steak. The crispyness of the meat held up to all the gravy. The side of bacon was over cooked. The French toast and chocolate chips pancakes were excellent. BLT was good. Visually was not excited about the fruit topping for the French toast especially the strawberries but they did have good flavor like a Sunday topping. The wall decor comes with neon orange price stickers. A nuclear engineer (nearby power plant) is changing the light bulb in back, I overhear, and time-aged guys with long gray-haired braids and socks-with-sandals settle in here. It is local and the smells wafting from the kitchen and clattering dishes alert me that what's coming is going to be good. The fried eggs, sausage patties and pancakes were satisfying. And the orange slice garnish tasted like mom reminding me to get my vitamin C. I will definitely come again for the dependable fare and the fun of people watching. read more

I am so excited that Momma Sally's opened this location in Inglis. It saves me the trip to Crystal River. This place knows how to do breakfast and the prices are reasonable. Great omlets, fluffy pancakes and good country fried steak. For lunch, the menu has something for everyone, from patty melts done right to salads, gyros and wraps. There is always meatloaf, liver and onions, chopped steaks and more. Breakfast is available at anytime. The waitstaff is prompt and attentive. Our waitress, Winnie, has been a fixture in the other location and is now manager here. She keeps things moving along! I would recommend Momma Sally's for breakfast, lunch or dinner. We have been going here for about a year now. We try and support local restaurants and found this place to be pretty good. We mainly eat breakfast which we found to be very good with nice portions. We went there today and had breakfast just like yesterday but when I went to pay it was more. I asked why and was told by the manager that there is a $1 splitting change. I told her we have been coming here for about a year and never paid that before. I know it is only a $1 but the splitting charge is not posted and when we ordered she didn't mention that so now I am annoyed. Not sure ifwe will go back. read more

The place is old and filthy. It's hard to mess up a simple breakfast, so I decided to order first. I went to the restroom and there were small roaches crawling on the toilet. So I didn't use it, but washed my hands. On my way back to the table I was able to see in the kitchen. Omg, who is the health inspector checking on this place? The kitchen was a hoarding area and way beyond dirty or old. So I say something to my husband, but he was willing to stay. The food was horrible. Burnt microwave bacon. Trace of napkin where it was patted down. Undercooked eggs. Moldy wheat bread. Barely toasted. The potatoes tasted like old baked potatoes sliced and fried. Not even on the grill. Plain with skin no butter or season. So no I didn't eat. I checked the French toast my husband was attempting to eat. Raw in the middle. My coke was served in a can cold with a straw thank goodness and my husband said his chocolate milk was cold. He ate 2 or 3 bites before I pointed out his was raw. Then as if it could not get worse the table of 6 next to us decided to have a very loud disgusting conversation about there not being toilet paper in the men's room. They openly talked about using their fingers and a corn cob to wipe their asses. They were super loud and had no filter. Each one of them was older than 60 so cant blame the young people here...just a group of disgusting seniors. I said a few words to them as I left the table and paid my bill. read more
