Delicious! Will order again!…read more Walked in and ordered food to-go on Thursday night. Ready in 15 minutes. Ordered fried Gyoza (beef or chicken option). I did not eat these but my daughter loved them. The Dduk Guk (rice cake soup in bone broth) with Kimchi Mandoo (can get kimchi or beef dumpling) - was so comforting like a hug in a bowl. The dumplings were huge (2 in the order), and I liked how the spices in the dumpling mixed into the bone broth when you broke open the dumpling. There were also thinly sliced fried egg strips and green onion. I'm sensitive to too much salt and it was perfectly seasoned with salt and a little black pepper. The sampling of sides were a perfect addition. I can't wait to order again!

I like that they have dishes that you don't often see elsewhere, like one of my favorites--dduk mandoo soup! This is traditionally eaten on New Year, so I was excited to get some on New Year's Eve. The soup is made with a clear beef broth, chewy rice cakes (dduk), and dumplings (you can choose pork or kimchi). The portion is generous and I've had leftovers both times I've ordered it. The broth is savory and warming, and the dumplings and rice cakes are tender and chewy. It's such a great winter weather dish. I've also tried their seafood pancake, spicy pork, gimmari (deep fried seaweed rolls), kalbi, and kimchi jjigae. The banchan (side dishes that come with entrees) are varied and tasty (I particularly love the japchae, a noodle dish with veggies). Service has been great both times I've dined in and I'm really looking forward to trying more of the menu.

I've been going since late 2022/early 2023, back when they were just a vintage shop (with a cute cat) at their old spot further down Division. I first came across them at a market and bought a shirt (still probably my favorite shirt in my collection) but at the time they were pretty under the radar, so I forgot the name. Almost a year later, an old friend complimented that same shirt, which led to me telling the whole story. I was like, "all I remember is they sold spoon rings," and said friend immediately goes, "sounds like Otono on Division." Ofc I went there that weekend, and sure enough, that was them. Been a fan ever since. At this point, a good chunk of my wardrobe is from them. It's been really cool seeing how much they've grown and evolved, especially with the addition of the café. I think it's such a hit and fits their vibe perfectly. The owners are also super personable and the staff are always kind. I added a few pics from past visits, but I definitely recommend checking them out. And if you get lucky, they sometimes have cookies and other treats from Cou Cou Bakehouse when there are leftovers from her pop-ups!

It's my birthday weekend and wanted to treat myself to a luxurious brunch. Of course I chose…read moreLittlebird for the best French omelettes in the area. I adore crab so ordering that was a no brainer. Their coffee is strong. It took a ton of cream to change the color... though it was delicious with free refills for $5. The omelette was heaven. All the flavors melded well and I appreciated the crisp acidic salad to cut the richness of the omelette. My only critique is wishing the crab salad topping was a bit more decadent. For $21 I was hoping for big lumps of crab rather than cool shredded mayo based salad. All in all, I love this place, I love the concept. It was quite busy and was thankful to snag a seat at the bar. The service was friendly and quick. Best hipster establishment I've patronized in a long time. Make a reservation if you have a group or pray there is a seat at the bar. Keep doing your thang Littlebird!!

My boyfriend and I stumbled in during happy hour and were happy to grab some cheap drinks, but the main event was the burger! We typically like sitting at the bar as well and chat with the bartender who was absolutely lovely! The dirty martini was okay but I will definitely order something else next time as the olives just didn't hit for me. It's a quaint and quiet spot - you can read that as intimate - since it's not loud or rowdy, so if you want a really sweet date spot, feel free to check this one out! Otherwise, you can just go and have a casual, delicious dinner. Parking is limited with the street parking and it being so close to Monroe Center but you shouldn't have a terrible time finding something, even if requires a parking ramp vs street parking. I'd just recommend a reservation if you are going on a weekend or don't want to wait/sit at the bar!
